When I first watched this, I knew enough about batman to know that there was a villain called two-face but not what his real name was, so when I saw his half burned face I was like "HE'S two-face?!?!?!" And I'm really glad I knew enough to get the villain but not enough that I was expecting it.

The thing that always amazes me about this movie is how viewers buy Joker's whole "agent of chaos" speech. How he's a mad dog without a plan just chasing cars. Meanwhile the entire first scene of the movie, the bank heist scene, is dedicated to showing that Joker plans things down to the smallest detail and manipulates people.

Not gonna lie, the Joker was really cool in the movie. He played it like a mastermind, always calm, always in control sigma wolf, and that's cool as fuck.

It's too calm, and it honestly almost sounds kinda like it's meant to come off as comforting, which feels really weird for a TwoFace portrayal, but I also really like it.

Maybe Mr Reese just got traumatized by people shooting at him, and decided not to get involved in any more thug business. He's an accountant or something, for crying out loud :)

Ame has shown a couple of times she is a snob when comes to some media consumption. I remember "I've been watching this anime, and since it's shonen people would asume it's bad but..." as if media doesn't have different target audiences. For me, one of my pet peeves is when people think that any media has to be so deep, change the view of the world and such to be considered good. Ame is one of those in some degree. No, a thing made to entertain and be an spectacle, and if achieves that, then it's good since that was it's goal in the first place.
Joker actually isn't chaotic evil in this movie. He keeps claiming that he has no plan or he just wants chaos, but out of all the criminals, everything he did is planned out thoroughly. And taking all the money from the crime families and burning it basically removes their power, something Batman alone couldn't do and no one else could because they paid off police, judge and persecutor with bribes. In this movie, Joker is the only actual thing that was capable of saving Gotham

Maybe it's just her taste in films? If she doesn't care for action films it's gonna be way harder to impress her with one. Don't know much about her though, if she's ever revealed her taste.
@@kenjutsukata1o1 for the record, there’s no issue with her not liking it, everyone is entitled to have opinions about anything they want. I just don’t know many people who don’t like The Dark Knight. It feels like a peak in action/drama film and story making.

Ame has shown a couple of times she is a snob when comes to some media consumption. I remember "I've been watching this anime, and since it's shonen people would asume it's bad but..." as if media doesn't have different target audiences.
For me, one of my pet peeves is when people think that any media has to be so deep, change the view of the world and such to be considered good. Ame is one of those in some degree.
No, a thing made to entertain and be an spectacle, and if achieves that, then it's good since that was it's goal in the first place.

Joker actually isn't chaotic evil in this movie.
He keeps claiming that he has no plan or he just wants chaos, but out of all the criminals, everything he did is planned out thoroughly.
And taking all the money from the crime families and burning it basically removes their power, something Batman alone couldn't do and no one else could because they paid off police, judge and persecutor with bribes.
In this movie, Joker is the only actual thing that was capable of saving Gotham

@@plstmb6000 I've never understood that mentality. To me, a 10/10 doesn't mean the movie was perfect, it means that you enjoyed it so much that the imperfections don't matter to you.

The last Batman movie I've watched is with Bane and when Batman was stuck in... a well??? and he was trying to climb out with the prisoners but its very dangerous.
