At least we've cleared up the case of the missing ahoge. This trial's gonna be wild. Gonna see how much of my current thoughts play out: I do believe our protagonist is taking an Izuru Kamukura route of participating in a killing game after erasing his own memories. Unlike Kamukura, it looks like he may have implanted someone else's memories in place of his own, probably the real Yuki Maeda's. It seems like Kisaragi may have suspected this, assuming he's the one who left the message about Utsuro. Speaking of Utsuro, they have an interesting name. I don't know what kanji they used, but it could mean something like "hollow." That would give some meaning to that red screen where past Maeda is wondering why he can get whatever he wants but is still in despair. That might also play into his Kamukura parallel, another character who is also good at anything he does and can't find a reason to care about any of it. Since they brought up Kamukura in the game, this Maeda might be another result of the project. Or it could have something to do with his talent. Kind of a reversal to Naegi's and Komaeda's Ultimate Luck which brings them misfortune, maybe faux-Maeda's does the opposite- bringing him so much good fortune that he never struggles with anything to the point of becoming severely depressed. No reason to try at anything and unable to relate to anyone else's suffering. There are a lot of instances in the game of lucky coincidences like Monokuma breaking down when they're about to be discovered in Mekaru's room or Kinjo surviving a direct shot to the head from a pistol at close range with no ill effects. As for what it's going to mean at the end, or why he agreed to host a killing game, I have no idea. Maybe he actually wanted someone to kill him? I don't know his motivations, but that's as good a guess I can make.
Just a teensy bit disappointed that last portrait of Akane didnt have the despairful loop de loop look. But this is really interesting. Thanks for the translation

So I just got to this part, and I want to make one and a half predictions. No spoilers cause I haven't seen the ending yet. This is all speculation and stuff that has already happened. The half prediction is that Monokuma is not an AI but being controlled by another Ultimate Despair. -The reasoning for it is because he talks to Akane and Yuki like it's been awhile since he's seen them and that he's familiar with how they act normally. If he was just made for the game, he wouldn't likely have that sense of familiarity. Also, I kinda just want there to be another Ultimate Despair; Monokuma being an AI just sounds boring to me. -There's also the fact that Monokuma very explicitly stated that he hated the group and wanted them to suffer. Another human emotion. The full prediction is that Yuki is an ultimate despair, and he's Akane's lover and partner-in-crime. -Through out the game, he's been having dreams about despair and character breaks that showcase a much more negative and malicious personality. It's clear that he's unknowingly hiding a much more evil personality, and he might just be a sleeper agent waiting for a code phrase like Akane was. The dream about the normal school day really highlights this. -As for why he's with Akane, we already know that former lovers will be drawn to each other like with Haru and Satsuki. Yuki and Akane have been growing close over the game, and have become reliant on each other. Both of them were distraught when the other was compromised. The dance scene really pushed the two of them together. Additionally, when Akane got her memory back, she immediately jumped in bed with Yuki. And, once again, the dream about the normal school day really highlights this: Akane was the only person to not have a normal conversation with Yuki, as if they were already up to something. So yeah. I'll see how these hold up.

I am Venezuelan, usually i don't answer many comments about the country and don't worry you can ask to your heart's content i'll answer as much as I can, currently the situation in Venezuela is still bad to the point they're trying to reduce the 0's of the money value compared to dollars. (Here earning a normal salary is like 20 to 30bucks which is basically nothing to live for in a month) College is basically shutdown but the president wants to open even though covid is still out there and well people are still getting vaccines....let's see what else can I say...well there's also the problems with internet that i suffer the most at random days where it just up and leaves for who knows how long. Oh yeah and usually the semester for me at university cost 150-200 depending on how many umm subjects i pick (like for example im studying for engineer on industrial maintenance, the subjects it has are like : maths, programming, english, lectures of maintenance etc). But yeah i can pretty much tell you that the goverment is not in it's best state....Military controls everything and going in an "adventure" or visit your family to another state is out of the question unlesd you have money and resources to withstand the incredibly and annoying search of the guards and their 4-6 posts to your destination. Oh yeah and Gas is nearly non-existant we used to be the country with the most cheap gas you could get even gasoline was cheaper than food. But all of that has changed for the worse since you gotta do a waiting line of 300-400cars and some of them even camp out at night. It's heartbreaking really😔......sorry for long message by the way. Also about reducing the zero means like the dollars in our country are like 100000x or 150000x more expensive than 1 bolivar (that was our original monetary value, which changed to Bs.F "Bolivar Fuerte") anyways currently one dollar is around 3.300.000 bolivars what i meant by reducing the 0's are those from the Bolivar and change the value into a new money name i guess you could call it, i'm not really much into economy so the correct term here is vague on my side but that is what i'm trying to explain anyway 😳. And basically Bolivars are super undervalued to the point people just use dollars instead of our country money the majority of the time.

Might explain the physical resemblance) at the beginning of the semester at Hope's Peak, and replaced Yuki for the entire school year. I have no idea what happened to the real Yuki Maeda though... If he's anything like Makoto, I can't help but feel bad for his fate 😢 I think we're playing as whoever Utsuro is. My suspicions are that Utsuro was an external agent of despair that was NOT admitted to the academy, hence why he could go around with so little notoriety. (and why he isn't listed anywhere in the 79th class...or in HPA records in general.) Although, I have no idea why he would do this, or why he would transplant Yuki's Memories into himself... Maybe he REALLY wanted to blend in, because his melancholic disposition was so evident that he would be immediately suspicious otherwise. From everyone else's notes, it seems like Yuki can't hide his emotions at all, so I wonder if memory manipulation was the only way he could remain clandestine amongst the other class members. I assumed Utsuro banked on regaining his memories the same way Akane did (screaming super saiyan style /j), and therefore, his true motivations would quickly override the false persona he implanted and allow for him to resume his scheming as planned. I got a feeling that introducing the memories of Yuki into his system was a big mistake though... I think Yuki will end up fucking over Utsuro's contigency plans by refusing to follow Utsuro's will.
