Great video Mr. Flyn ride glad to see you back on that bike again and yes, I agree it was very very close. As you know I have the CVO ST and you don’t really need any more power but if you put a stage two on it it’ll be crazy. Thanks for a great video. Great idea you guys had.
It would be interesting to see this race on highway with someone else saying when to go. You definitely have the upper hand on shifting. Off the line is tough, he’d be better off in sport mode off the line. Both videos were cool. I’ve gotta give it to the cvo st… only cause I have one lol.
I am saying the Sandstone is faster....even with the liquid cooled heads, higher cubic inch advantage of the ST, I STILL say a cammed 114/117 is gonna be quicker...probably not by much if I am honest, as it would inly be 5-10 hp and they are 800-900 lbs....the big difference is how different in size are you and John?? I also think if either of you gets the jump you will simply walk the other guy as no matter what they are gonna be close.
@@redrider0151 I’m 15-20 pounds heavier than John give or take. So that definitely may be a factor in what we saw in the video. I think if all things were exactly equal, you may be right but as tested, it was dead even. Only exception was rolling off second gear, that part he didn’t keep up.
And I see that its about how I thought it would be. With the bikes being as big and heavy as they are, its not going to be a HUGE difference....as they are within 10-15 hp of each other I would guess. When you compare a stock 114/117 to a cammed 114/117 its usually a bike that hasnt been tuned and is probably a 25-35 hp difference....with the ST being able to change modes (changing tune basically) it is able to slap an aggressive tune into it that is also a huge plus compared to a normal stock bike....Looks like a GREAT fall day you guys had!! I would bet if you ran a NON ST that your bike would rip on it....
Great run...the Sandstorm gave him a good run. ✌️👊👍

@@508knucklehead yeah, that’s a beautiful bike. Thank you!
Your Bike Sounds SOOO Good!!!! I figured the stage 2 would take it. But that stock 121 is very impressive, it's super close 😃😎
@@michaelroy925 Thanks man. I thought it would too but very very close.
