Hey Robert, I love your channel. I just bought a 2024 Roadglide and will definitely be putting those same slip-ons on it. I had 4’s on my 2019 and loved those but now I need these. "That sound", it sounds like a real Harley now! I know what your mean, "that sound" is what we remember from our life experience of what a Harley Davidson is. Man you nailed it with the Tab pipes, I'd be satisfied with her that way and could be perfectly happy enjoying thousands of miles of smiles never changing her again. I'm looking at a '24 Street Glide black and chrome, add long haul touring option and Tab Zombies for me and the wife to tour on. I still can't believe that the new Street Glide is only 811lbs running order, the Road King Special is 807lbs running order. I think the liquid cooled heads will come in handy for me here during the Las Vegas summer heat too, I'm still a working fool so most of my seat time is commuting, but that's okay because seat time is seat time any way I can get it.

That black chrome is beautiful, especially on a white bike, BEAUTIFUL!! And, of course the TABS sound great!! So glad I followed your advice a few years ago and put the TABS on Scarlet, my bike. If you put a cam in Shelly, not even sure if that's possible right now, she will sound even better with that loap! TABS still sound the best to me as well Robert, just something distinct about them. The only thing I did different is I use the Thunder Torque inserts to help with the Reversion to stop the torque draw from the motor. Sounds a little different with them on, but when we ride 2 up is where I can feel the difference. Thanks for all the time you spend to take us along Robert, it's much appreciated!!!

Pass on the TAB’s. Been there, done that. Khrome Werks all the way. Best warranty, most tunable system for future builds. Not to mention KW makes Harley’s factory exhaust.
I got TAB Zombie baffles on my ‘22 Softail. Love em. Can’t wait to get my CVO RG ST. The stock ST pipes sounds surprisingly good. Those 50 Cals sound amazing.

The TAB pipes look and sound good, just thinking that they might drone a little…. I have a Challenger with Freedom Performance Pipes, and a 23 Fast Johnnie RG ST with Khrome Werks 4.5 pipes… they both sound amazing.
Zombies on stock headpipes with a cam is fine.
Zombies on a big higher compression motor with catless head pipes and a big cam.. no bueno. Huge dip in tq 2-3k. Sounded so damn good. Deafening tho. Was worried I’d get juked by the cops just bc it was sooooooo loud. And I love a loud bike.
Put in mediums and it’s loud AF (2x louder than zombies in stock headpipes).. and now I got a tabletop of tq from 2-6k.
HUGE difference

Looks and sounds good. I'm new to the RG world so I have been checking out different slip ons for my 24. For me personally the 50cal look aesthetically too big. I would be curious to look at the 4 1/2 like you had on your Indian.

Great channel with great information. Your bikes look like a glass finish. Do you put a ceramic coating on them. Just got a kit from ACC Ceramics to do my 2024 street glide in Whiskey River. I thought I would just keep the stock pipes but you’ve about convinced me Tabs with the medium baffles is the way to go for me. Retired Army - 26 years as a Military Police Officer.

Did you get the Obsidian Gloss Black or the Black Chrome from KW? Their black chrome doesn’t match the heat shields that come on the ST. HD factory exhaust is made by KW.

I have tabs zombie baffles on my 21 Road glide special that I got the 131 in and wow they definitely give my bike the aggressive sound for all her power. I also just bought the CVO ST mine is the raven black color. Those tabs sound great on the ST. Can I ask you how much weight they added as one of the reasons I really love my ST is the lightness of the bike. I know those
Titanium pipes are lighter so I’ve not changed them yet.

I didn’t weigh them, but the stock pipes are much lighter.
ST stock heat shields aren’t black chrome, they are obsidian black. The 23 CVO has the black chrome exhaust. I will say the Tab Performance is much darker looking than the black chrome Krome Werks offers. KW does the stock exhaust for HD.
Edit: just looked it up. Those are the midnight chrome. Tabs also offers torched chrome which is what Krome Werks has for black chrome. 2 different colors. I’m glad I researched it cause I’m getting them for my ST. Thanks!

man, the clearance on your oil cooler is super close! looks like you could easily scrape it. the new oil cooler looks bigger than previous year road glide so maybe thats why it looks like it's close.
Did you install a tuner, with these slip ons? I can not get a straight answer out of our HD dealer if putting slip ons my CVO ST needs a tuner since they consider the stock exhaust high flow and should have come with a HD tuner from factory. Still snow on the ground here, so have a bit to get this sorted out.

Yeah, and for us distance riders, loud pipes are a headache (literally), I don't need that constant drone. After about 70 miles it gets old. Robert Simmons only rides at slow speeds and in circles, so it might not bother him. Need to save my hearing, I even wear earplugs on trips with my stock pipes. (Many do not even no that a large part of hearing damage while riding comes from wind noise also). If was going to change I would look at the Jekyll and Hyde set-up (the sound can be change with a mounted switch)
Could you please do a side by side with the Zombies and the Louvered to hear the difference? I think the Zombies are a little loud for me. lol
I have to say, The Harley Davidson Pipes sound great on acceleration. But Tab Performance pipes sound The Best! And look way better in my opinion. But probably won't be using the speaker system on the bike with those Zombie Baffles 😲 😅

Hi Robert, I was wondering about what mode you should have the bike in for doing slow riding maneuvers? Can you leave it in sport mode and still control the throttle for slow riding? I recently did a test ride and in sport mode I had a very difficult time controlling the bike at low speeds, throttle was really twitchy and made the bike leap forward. I do slow speed maneuvers in Sport mode all of the time, but if it’s giving you issues, just put it in road mode. 👍🏾
