Love the racing in these AC40's but the graphics are pretty distracting as they bounce all over the screen. The live direction is problematic too and misses nearly every cross or key moment in the race. They need someone in the edit booth that can read a yacht race and be on the right camera well before the action happens. Go watch some SailGP to see how the broadcast should be put together.
Ac 40 is the new gen boat class foiling mono hulls. Question is how long is sail gp is going keep using catermarens

Live direction still needs a lot of work. Crosses and tight racing should always take precedence over a single boat, especially if that boat has crossed the finish line

It's ok to watch. After a while it's boring at the don't sail in close quarters. Only about speed until they fall off foils
Do you feel however the same can be said on the iaccs? We would also see them close and then also suffer from dirty air.
So in the grand scheme of things this is how the Americas cup usually is, in saying that we did get some good races last weekend
