Sisu Nasu! Love that vehicle. I drove Nasu for 6 months 24/7 day/night in Finnish Defence Forces. It's just extremely capable machine to transport crew and heavy equipment through snow, swamps, lakes, rivers, to top of mountains - you name it. With those 4 pulling tracks and light weight there's nothing that can beat it's traction and light pressure per square foot. Great to see that thing in action!

The Bv 206 is referred to as a Small Unit Support Vehicle (SUSV) pronounced "susvee" in United States service. U.S. military variants include the standard model (M973), a tactical operations center variant (M1065), an ambulance variant (M1066) and a flat-bed cargo carrier (M1067). U.S. military models are fitted with a 6-cylinder Mercedes diesel engine. I drove one for awhile while in the 6thINF(LT) at Ft.Richardson, AK

Bandvagn Bv206 is the similar vehicle of Swedish origin, manufactured by Hägglunds. This Sisu NaSu is similar vehicle by appearance, indeed, but of neighbouring Finland origin made by Sisu Trucks. Commonalities are indisputable, though. Finnish army did aquire those original Swedish ones back in the days, and based on driver feedback told Sisu to develop an improved version.

Look up pictures of what they look like from pics taken around Louisiana this year and last year during Hurricane Laura. Heavy D, funny story. Yesterday I got off the freeway and there was this HUGE widebody Raptor next to me. I was going to turn to my house but decided to wash my truck. After the wash, I was in traffic waiting to turn right by Nielsons frozen custard. I saw the Raptor again! I was like, "ah sweet, I gotta see what kind of guy can build a Raptor like that." It started backing up and I was like, awesome. Manly beard. Props. The right tools for a very good job.Saved that guys boat. Years ago, I watched a boat fall apart on a beach near San Diego. The boat driver missed the entrance to a man made harbor at Ocean Beach. Nobody could get the right equipment on land or in the ocean to recover the 30 or 40 foot sailing boat. It was probably cheaper for the insurance company to write it off than recover it.

Used one of these double tracked vehicles in Alaska ( sus-vee) for the army in 1987. Amazing vehicle, can climb, swim and traverse snow like it nothing. Just had to remember it had less lbs per sq inch than we do, so jumping out the door in snow would bury you to you waist while the vehicle was just sitting on top of the snow. Great video and great adventures.

Just when people thought the Sisu Nasu couldn't get any better here comes good ol' Heavy D throwing a Cummins in it to make it even more of a F'n beast! Straight up made that recovery look easy af using that Hog haha!

It's crazy. He made his money and is now giving back. You don't see this anymore in our society. He even flew his helo out to the sight, and maintenance alone isn't cheap on that rig. They don't fly for free. Hats off to these guys even though I'm sure they had fun.

You need to bring some float bags that are like tubes that are held together with straps. Maneuver in to place On each side of the boat and then fill the tubes. The boat will rise because of the straps that will cradle the boat between the two tube bags then just float it back out to deeper water and you're done.
