No that is only for low idle when nothing is plugged in or drawing electric power. Idle is used when welding to save fuel when you are not burning a rod (welding). If you plug something as small as a fan the machine will automatically go into high idle.
I did. On top by the filter is the rev trigger, you have to loosen the nut that's on the bolt holding the rev trigger. Since the machine is new I'm guessing it's real sensitive but that's what got mine under control

I can't get my gas gauge to work, it will only shows the hours
