I still have the older unit and it still runs great it's hard to replace something when it was overbuilt to begin with and I wouldn't know what to do with myself I like the overlapping ranges but I am interested to see how this one runs wonder if it was just as good as the 3 tap machine

What is THD?
THD stands for Total Harmonic Distortion. The Champion Elite 225 runs on 10,000 watts of peak power and has a 4 percent THD. This level of THD helps to ensure that sensitive electronics and other devices function properly when plugged in.

No, this is a new feature that was added to the new version of the Champion Elite 225. The new Champ Elite has access to cleaner and more efficient power, and THD is a feature that enables such use of power.
