When flying around with Icoros if you roll your control button he will do a barrel roll. If you stand still and he lands on your arm press your assassinat button to feed him and show some love.
You do need to be careful to position it just far enough it doesn't cause them to panic and enter "archer cover" mode, while still shooting close enough to attract their attention.
Call for Phobos and run. He will run next to you and you will jump on without hitting the mount button. Works well when you need to run away from a bunch of enemies.
In Origins i used to do the same thing but we were to press the Mount button in that game so most of the time i kinda chalanged myself that natural can i make it look like... 😅😅
to deal with the sharks; before you dive have your eagle hommie spot the sharks, and the just walk to the side of the ship where they are and pick them off with arrows. Don't forget to loot the sharks too. you can come across some pretty cool loot.
I did the eagle thing from the get go, I thought assasin Creed was going for more realism and wouldn't let the player fight sharks underwater with weighed weapons underwater. Silly me huh. I don't remember it being like that in Origins with the gators, could you underwater fight them.
Another thing to add on is you can also destroy docked ships while on your boat. For instance, if you have a quest to destroy 15 spartan boats, you can sail over to a spartan territory with spartan ships docked and unleash your javelins and arrows for easy kills :P. This also works if you have to destroy merchant ships as well, you can destroy them when they are also docked.
Another tip, mainly in the Fate of Atlantis DLC in Elysium but also often in Greece, some targets are JUST too high level to insta assassinate, you can stay undetected though if you shoot them with your bow first and immediately assassinate them after. This also gives the most adrenaline, which is quite useful in the DLC because those statue dudes literally eat your adrenaline so you’re much better off having some more ready (and as a bonus, they won’t wake up because you stay undetected).
You have unlimited torches. You can throw the torch or drop them on the Enemy Supply crates. You can throw them at Snakes when your in the caves/tomb. You can also light a regular arrow on fire. If you draw your bow near a fire, the tip will catch on fire. Either use it on Soldiers or enemy crates. Also shooting over a fire or torch will set them on fire too.
@@user-vr5zk9ox8d Yes, you can. I just used this tip about 2 weeks ago and it worked with killing the boar. This is the quest where you have to collect the pelts. I was able to lead 2 mercenaries to the area with the boar in it and moved away. They then killed it.
WRX 85 Well, I had several mercs on my tail and I brought them to one of the Legendary animals. I can’t remember which one, but it was on one of the southern islands. I died multiple times from those damn bombs they throw at you just to lead them to it and when I finally did get there with them on my ass they spawned outside of the confined fighting area with the animal. I then had to fight them after I fought the beast.
@@user-vr5zk9ox8d Sorry to hear that. I thought about getting the attention of more than 2 mercs but it turns out 2 was enough. Once they killed the boar, I just went into the opposite direction and they never detected me.
You can, however, assassinate, hide on top of a temple for the alarm to go back down, and then assassinate them again. It's how i got a full Legendary crew, including two Polemarch Strategoi (amusingly enough, one Athenian and one Spartan): Those two can murder an entire crew on their own with ease, we're talking a third to half a full health bar on enemy crew per hit.
Just took out a nation leader by killing a soldier and putting his body on a ledge as bait. They saw it, ran towards it to investigate and one Overpower Bow Strike later they got launched off the ledge and died (along with like 3 bodyguards). Never even spotted me.
Actually, one thing is that if you're trying to hide a body at a fort, you can press the button you'd use for drawing your bow (like L2 for example). This allows you to throw the body over a wall, for example, out of sight.
Im 4 years late, but thank you for saying this. I just started this game and was having difficulty with stealth in the forts cause i couldnt hide all the bodies😂 thanks again
@@DunceTree93You'll learn and get fastet at stealth to the point you don't need to hide the bodies, because no one has time to see them😂 It's fun to challange yourself and not use the several special abilities which make stealth very easy in this game. I was coming up on a Cultist last night and wondering "wtf is he moving so fast?" so when i catch up to him, he was being attacked by Spartans. So by the time I got to him I just had to confirm the kill & was done.
If you run toward some small objects (long desk, carts, rectangular rocks, stone barriers, etc.), hold couch (B on XB controller) before making contact, and you can vault over them. Sometimes it might not work if the angle is not right, but when it works it looks much better than just jump on it and jump down.

@GirlGamerBG r boat = "A vessel of any size, especially a large one" Therefore itsJordanDoes' correct to call the Adrestia a boat Kenway's right too - a ship's a type of boat so large that it's not practicable for other boats to carry it itsJordanDoes didn't say there's no difference between a ship & a boat It's like if u say you're a person & then i say "you're not a person, you're a beautiful Lady. A Lady can carry a person in her womb, but a person can't carry a lady. They are different"
You can use torches to draw enemies close to whistle them for assassination. You can use torches to light a single enemy on fire by throwing them since they dont detect from a bush. It takes about 6 hits to catch fire. You can throw a torch on the ground to light an arrow on fire. Torches are the best thing in the game. You can lure a bunch in a bush and light it with a torch to burn a group. The possibilities are endless. You can also chuck torches like a freaking mile.
It's probably worth mentioning that most weapons have a 5 attack combo so each attack in the sequence has a different animation and does different things. For example my fav combo for a staff (the main weapon I use for groups of enemies) is LHHLH. Most important here is the finisher as a heavy attack, as this swings the staff a full 360 and basically 1-hit kills any enemy standing in a circle around you. Really good for conquest abttles for example.
@@Alldayanyday1OnThePS4 It depends upon the weapon but I don't think the number really matters... Tbh I only use daggers, swords and staffs and both swords and staffs have 5 so I thought daggers were the odd one out.
I never knew I could jump on other ships without needing to actually fight them first as I love the idea of a lone mercenary just taking out a whole crew.
Technically 1st but 2nd is when you freely bring them there. 1st You can hide in hay piles, assassinate and automatically drag them in hiding them but you couldn't carry bodies. 2nd However you could freely carry bodies at will.
Probably a pretty small feature in the grand scheme of things, but looting chests on a ship you sunk underwater is pretty cool. I'm sure I'm not the only one that thought you lost the chests once the ship goes under.
Believe it or not when I was playing the game for the first time early on I was actually hiding the bodies in the bushes. It was like it was instinctive because of all the previous games I've played. So I actually knew about hiding the bodies in the bushes but I honestly wasn't aware of the rest. It was very interesting and honestly I think I might be using the ship strat when I play through the game again.
Good point. I didn’t have that instinct because Odyssey never really gave me a reason to hide bodies like the previous games personally. It’s for sure a change in path but I’m really enjoying Odyssey and Origins.
I was doing this on instinct as well during when you fight through leader houses or forts. But it doesn’t work all that well in Odyssey. They can still see them even when I put them in the bushes. I may not be putting them in deep enough so I’ll keep trying, but it’s still annoying 😑
Since a LOT of places in this game requires swimming in really murky/non visible waters (the air bubbles themselves sometimes, I swear) - You can get Posseidon's Trident early on, which unlocks an engraving you can put on anything and then you can breathe under water. Just sail there and avoid ships, then sneak to loot the chest. Look it up.
1:50 get Ikaros to spot the chests before you dive in after them and equip Poseidon's Trident and it doesn't matter how deep the water is. also, if you cleave a mercenary ship or knock the mercenary overboard, you can jump in and loot their body in the water
I'm hiding bodies all the time, even if there is blood splattered or armour lying around, they don't care and stand guard there, so if I'm trying to clear out some fort quietly, it's a good way to kill multiple guards on the same spot without them being alerted by dead bodies lying around. So once I need to deal with the last few remaining guards I'm not swarmed by dozens of soldiers, but by only handful of them. And of course setting up trap on the fire signal helps for them to fail to call reinforcement and mercenaries.
1:30 you don't need to even touch the water to get on another boat if you RUSH assassination. Press the ability button when in range (yellow dot appearing on enemy)
The ship boarding trick has been in the games since Black Flag, maybe even AC III when naval gameplay was introduced. I always used it to clear higher lever Man O' Wars and the legendary ships in Black Flag.
One that I played 60+ hours before discovering was.. you can stand.. on the horse.. when riding it.. like I played for so long and saw a hint that said in loading screen and it blew my mind..
Tag sharks around shipwrecks with Ikaros. You can then shoot them with arrows while treading water to keep from having to fight them underwater. You can also shoot them from a small boat as long as they're tagged. That's one I didn't know that helped me recently.
That ship shooting land units thing is pretty useful especially with the bounty mercenaries roam around the shore waiting for us ..I think it's pretty helpful u shared this idea
Anytime you board a ship and there is a mercenary ship or other ship waiting, you can swim to them and kill everyone on board. You can also use your bowl to fire arrows why jumping off a cliff. Why jumping off a high place on your enemy/enemies, L2 + R2 will launch a slam on the ground that will send your enemies off their feet. While hiding in a bush, you can fire arrows at your enemies and still avoid been detected as they come to you by moving away from your position or another nearby bush
So I had found a video that already talked about every combo attack and the best combos to use..it was released a few months ago lol RIP, not tryna steal content ya know
Cool, that one of killing spartans in the ship is really fun to try. and there is one that maybe some people dont know yet: while ridding, L1 and you can jump. I use it a lot. Great chanel, I will subscribe
And the spear of Poseidon is THE best weapon to use while traveling the ocean floor AND you only have to have it equiped in one of the weapon slots so you can use any other weapon while exploring beneath the waves and naval battles.
Exploding arrows and Spartan kick. I have beaten enemies way above my level with these two tactics. The key to winning is not to get overpowered. On flat land I use Exploding arrows to stop a rush attack and set them on fire. They tend to get VERY distracted. If there are nearby tall buildings or cliffs I climb them. If baddies chase after me up, I kick them off and they severely injure or die. If they do not chase me up I shoot them with exploding arrows, Rinse and Repeat!
Yeah hunter class is the best. Overpower bow shots and predator shots can take out higher level enemies if you keep your distance. I use time slow ability when they get to close to run away and get some distance for my bow 😂
i think a lot of people know this but if you have fangs bow (the bow that turns normal arrows into poison) and light the tip with fire wherever you shoot will create a fire spark and will light anyone within radius of the spark on fire
Omg wow I didn't even notice there were different attacks after dodging. No wonder I always knocked back my enemies after entering slow-mo instead of doing the four hit combo.
Dear Jordan, I love your videos, especially your soft and “pleasant-to-listen-to” voice. I also love AC Odyssey and I recently I came across (stumbled upon) something really funny (that I feel called to share here). I found it out while I was dealing damage over time with fire (in order to win some challenge for some burning duration engraving). It’s that Enemies that lose sight of you (and start searching for you with that “?” above their heads) while being on fire; don’t recognise you and don’t engage in combat with you anymore as long as they are still burning. My Burning duration was about 27 seconds at that time and it was really funny to see burning Mercenaries losing sight of me and then forgetting about me completely, even when they see me standing next to them or in front of them; they’re only busy with tapping out the flames on their bodies. 😂
Brilliant. Another is very tough legendary animals like the Boar that farts - you can run around killing to gather four mercenaries who fight the boar for you.
The ship one I knew from ac black flag, it's a useful strat and actually is helpful when battling the tempest, another thing you can do is if you manage to get into combat, the ai for the ships freeze up and wait for you to take back the wheel so you can use that to your advantage.
I recently figured out that if you jump from a height and press the heavy attack button Alexios does this plunge smash type of attack just like in 300 rise of an Empire when the Athenian jumps off the cliff plunging his sword to an enemy on a ship
1:18 this helped me a Lot mostly when killing the final cultist and he was level 50 and on a ship and I boarded another nearby ship and then swimmed to the cultist ship and the bow did the work for me
Just an add on to the jumping on ships one. If you go to the side of a ship, you can hide under the edge, and it is impossible for the people on board to see you. So you can jump up, use multi shot, light enemies on fire, and immediately turn around and hide, unable to be killed. This works amazingly well for story missions or cultists on ships. Another tip is that when a cutscene places you into a fight, like against guards after the main character runs away, there is actually a period of time where the enemy agroes on to you. So if you build assassin, and have rush assassination, then spam that button as the cutscene ends, and you will be able to rush assassinate before the fight starts. This is especially helpful in fights with 3 or 4 guards, as one rush assassinate can chain enough to kill the entire squad with no fighting needed.
you can also get your bounty level up and have mercs chase you to your ship and pick them off until they are drained. Then you can spartan kick them(when power is low enough)to recruit them in crew
I find the glitch funny that if your entering back on your ship on a sub region piece of land and find Heredatos glitching between the ship with a gitter in him and still can interact with him normally
You can jump onto ships in black flag too. Once you kill the Spanish/English on the deck and go back to your ship you automatically have boarded and cleared it. It's faster than the normal way of doing it. It's outdated info but yeah.
1:55 This is what i'm doing a lot. It can even work in deeper waters that you can't reach the bottom of, though as soon as you ram it to sink it (to get all those sweet resources), i recommend quickly tagging the chests with your eagle so you can find them easily. They sink slower than boats, though occasionally the ship will capsize on top of them to drag them down too fast. Only downside is you can't leave your post while being in combat, so try and only aggro one ship at a time by kiting it away from the pack. Once you've left your post, your ship won't get attacked until you're back. And if you're afraid of sharks, you're clear once you're at the surface, so no worries there either. But generally put, you can grab two chests that way like 90% of the time. If it's a 3-chest ship though, just save yourself the headache of trying to lure it into shoals and board it.
I used Ikaros to take out many enemies, mercenaries and etc. I even used him to defeat and recruit Perseus. If the target is in open air where you have access to Ikaros, you can use him to take em out. It just takes a lot of patience for higher level targets.
It’s such a fun game, combat gives you a good sense of accomplishment, the aesthetics are stunning.. feel like taking no fall damage sort of ruins the immersion however, may as well if given us a flying chariot 🤷♂️😂
Sometimes when you board other ships they start moving and the npcs start flying if you kill them while they charge you. It's also fun when the boat you boarded ends up in a naval battle. Every time that boat you are on is rammed people fly.
@@Rob_Thorsman nice. Have not played in a minute, been stuck on RDR2. But will check that out when I got a couple days off, couple hours are not enough time, lol. Thank you for the tip!
Wow very useful video! You should make another with a few facts like: "You can call in your horse by hitting the button bound to call horse." Or "You can swim by jumping in water." Those are just 2 amazing ideas that could waste even more of my time.
My favorite weapon and combo in the AC odyssey is the Staff of Dikastes combined with the engraving coming from Isu-Forged Warrior's Mace (that's if you finished the Faith of Atlantis DLC) what makes this unique is that the Staff do not kill, just incapacitate, than the engraving unlocked by that Isu weapon, applied to the staff makes you deal damage and a large area around you every time you hit someone, you can incapacitate somebody, even animals and keep hitting him on the ground, dealing damage and knocking down all enemies getting close to you, other great combination is rush assassination with the Isu-Forged Assassin's Mace, dealing assassin's damage to all around you, that's basically cheating, you can clean that boat in no time with that combo!
I always make my character op asf first before I start the story . I’m level 69 and iv probably only done 15% of the story line .😂😂😂 every time I do quest iv already finished them from exploding the world .😂😂
one of the coolest random things that happened to me was that i was just roaming around outside a city (cant exactly remember where) and i saw a spartan and an athenian 1v1 so i did spectate them, when they killed each other i went and looted the body of the dead soldier and i found a note, that started a quest for me to go nearby in a cave and loot, so i did and found alot of drachmea. whats funny about this is that i already went to that cave like 2 hours before this event and looted it completely.
I’ve learned to control the enemy boats I swim out to. Climbing the mast/ using your eagle repeatedly can sometimes get the empty boat started or stopped. They seem to go in certain pre set patterns. I’ve been playing this game too long 😂
you can use Ikaros to harass (and even damage) an enemy, while Ikaros is busy distracting you can shoot an arrow to their faces or use any of the hunter abilities and it won't alert them. this trick can be very handy for taking down a mercenary, polemarch or any of those elite enemies with tons of health. harass with ikaros, shoot them, rinse and repeat until dead they'll never know.
As far as I can tell the Pegasus is only mount in the game that doesn't get hurt from jumping off high ledges. You can jump off from any height and it doesn't faze the pegasus. Handy for travel.
Now (May 2021) i got for free from ubishop a Skin with wings that does The same thing..It adds a purple eyes and wings. Pegasus Its cool but if u interested in avòding fall damage purple Melanie its better
I was at level 36 or 37 and I was going after which ever cultists who were unvieled. So one of them was Iobates the Stoic who was at level 49. When I reached his location i.e., Lemnos, he was already fighting with around 5 high level spartans. I kid you not, he got killed by them and all I needed to do was wait around in bushes and only had to confirm kill.
I like to swim up to moving ships and killing everyone on board, but I wish there was a way to somehow sink the boat once you're done, like setting it on fire, or using explosives, or something. Now I have to swim back to my ship and just sink it the normal way. Also, for a long time I didn't know you could build your adrenaline up by killing animals, so make sure and shoot all the deer, moose, bears, wolves, lynx and such during your travels, or before you raid a fort, it's totally worth it!
yeah that's legit - just get 1 hit on a vulture & it will partially fill 1 bar of adrenaline - this will then fill up fully on it's own, provided ur out of combat. Personally i don't like to attack harmless animals tho.
Idk if everyone knows this or not but if you have a hard time killing sharks you can use ikraos to find the shark then kill it with arrows or just go underwater and when you see a shark go back up (it will still be visible) and shoot arrows at it
Another thing you can do when you were talking about disabling boats. After you get your warrior points up to at least 10,000 park your boat not too awful close to the boat you just disabled. Now push up on your direction buttons on the controller. That brings up your bird. Hover over the enemies. Hit the northern circle button. And let your bird take a swipe or three killing your enemies in seconds. Much easier that way. Faster and safer on you.

It’s kind of insane the level of detail in this game. I put about 30 hours in a year back and got a fair way through the main story. I put it down for a while and just came back probs after 8 months. And the level of detail and things I missed are blowing me away
I wish odyssey never been a part of AC franchise so people could appreciate this game more because this game is unfairly hated by biased AC franchise and origins fans. 2nd reason why i hope this game never been a part of that shitty franchise because I want the sequel of odyssey
I think that Odyssey: a AC story would lower the hate by a lot, but really doubt a sequel cause you did quite the majority of what you can do in Greece.
Honestly, I think ac odyssey was so bad as an assassin's creed game. The game mechanics are amazing, but it doesn't work with the assassin's creed franchise and the story was terrible imo. Btw, I fell in love with the assassin's creed stories and it doesn't feel good like the rest of them did. Imo I think they should make another black flag kind of game bc black flag was the best they ever made. To conclude, I am probably a biased type of person that u mentioned above, but I really just didn't like ac odyssey. P.s. I also hate the mission set up bc I wanted to follow the main story. However, I kept having to go to other stories which would confuse me
If you start the game expecting it to be like every other assassins creed then you. Won't enjoy it as much.Once I realized it playsike shadow of mordor it became one of my favorite games.
@@averytyson7078 I knew it wouldn't be like others bc it was an RPG, but I did expect it to be really fun bc I love spartan games. I had been wanting the game for so long, but never got it until i got the ultimate edition on sale for $40. Personally, I think that the game was terrible when it came to what u would expect from other ac games, but if it wasn't in the ac franchise, it might have been better. Lastly, the story didn't make sense to me and was a big let down a little after I left the starting island. I gave ac odyssey so many chances by continuing to play even tho it wasn't fun, quitting for a while and trying to start up again, and watching videos to try to understand the story better. To conclude, I think the game is really fun, but not my cup of tea.
It plays literally like Origins. Only difference is added random sidequests and armor pieces being bought as outfit parts instead of upgraded with separate costume. That's it. Rest of gameplay is the same. Story is better because you can actually affect stuff or choose your character.

You can just swim and use ghost arrows :).
Or u can sink a ship and the sharks will come to you for a good meal. (Athenians on the days menu of course)
I did the eagle thing from the get go, I thought assasin Creed was going for more realism and wouldn't let the player fight sharks underwater with weighed weapons underwater. Silly me huh.
I don't remember it being like that in Origins with the gators, could you underwater fight them.
The sharks eat the dead bodies so it mashes sense they'd have loot.
Oh Jesus thanks for the heads up. I have way too many contracts to deal with Spartan and Athens ships
Thanks fam I have to AI k 15 Athenian ships
THAT SO FUCKING USEFUL
Can you give some location examples?
🏆
TopShonuff bringing the torch near unlit lanterns/light thingies inside the caves and temples makes the character light them automatically
mahath mangal that was the same in AC Origins.
TopShonuff Or you can just get the engrave or the bow that tun all arrows in fire to save you time? Haha lol
RASHTG yes. But this was beginners Guide. Before you get Hade’s Bow. This was also the same from AC Origins.
When you stand near a fire looking at the scenery, you can get burned
You can lead the mercenaries who is going after you to fight the legendary beast for you
Justin Phan No you can’t. They patched it. Once you take the effort to lead them all the way to the beast they just spawn outside the fight area.
WRX 85 Lol, well that’s good to know in hindsight.
You can defeat any enemy any level by getting up to any high temples, they cannot get there, and you use arrows and bows to shoot them from above
unless they are a mercenary or some enemies in which case they have ranged weapons as well as melee weapons. Still works, just not as well.
And if they climb up just sparta kick them from the tower. It's hilarious, once I defeated the whole for just by kicking them from a tower xD
Just took out a nation leader by killing a soldier and putting his body on a ledge as bait. They saw it, ran towards it to investigate and one Overpower Bow Strike later they got launched off the ledge and died (along with like 3 bodyguards).
Never even spotted me.
@@Amyante no you can't use assassination ability more than one time on a single target, but you can use rush assassination
@@DunceTree93You'll learn and get fastet at stealth to the point you don't need to hide the bodies, because no one has time to see them😂
It's fun to challange yourself and not use the several special abilities which make stealth very easy in this game. I would recommend you to play without those said abilities.
Just my two cents, have fun at the game!
I was coming up on a Cultist last night and wondering "wtf is he moving so fast?" so when i catch up to him, he was being attacked by Spartans. So by the time I got to him I just had to confirm the kill & was done.
ouch. Sorry the spartans took your fun.. damn malakas...
It was The Bull, right? He's a moron.
If you run toward some small objects (long desk, carts, rectangular rocks, stone barriers, etc.), hold couch (B on XB controller) before making contact, and you can vault over them. Sometimes it might not work if the angle is not right, but when it works it looks much better than just jump on it and jump down.
It's not a boat. It's a ship. You'll be keelhauled for this error.
I know.. I’m prepared for my punishment..
@GirlGamerBG r i also tought of that
GirlGamerBG r
Jennifer: I don’t see the difference.
Edward Kenway: Ahhh, it’s a very simple one Jenny, a ship can carry a boat, but a boat cannot carry a ship.
Jennifer: Why then, everything is a ship - large, and small; but my toy boats, the ones I take in the bath with me!
@GirlGamerBG r boat = "A vessel of any size, especially a large one"
Therefore itsJordanDoes' correct to call the Adrestia a boat
Kenway's right too - a ship's a type of boat so large that it's not practicable for other boats to carry it
itsJordanDoes didn't say there's no difference between a ship & a boat
It's like if u say you're a person & then i say "you're not a person, you're a beautiful Lady. A Lady can carry a person in her womb, but a person can't carry a lady. They are different"
Sounding a bit like edward kenway now. 🤨
That’s cool haha
Gotta try this
It's probably worth mentioning that most weapons have a 5 attack combo so each attack in the sequence has a different animation and does different things. For example my fav combo for a staff (the main weapon I use for groups of enemies) is LHHLH. Most important here is the finisher as a heavy attack, as this swings the staff a full 360 and basically 1-hit kills any enemy standing in a circle around you. Really good for conquest abttles for example.
from age Some weapons like the heavy blade or blunts only have a 4 sttack combo though, while daggers have a 6 light attack combo
5? You mean 4? The 4th hit of all attacks is the combo finisher
Alldayanyday1 On The PS4 Nope, swords have 5
@@Alldayanyday1OnThePS4 It depends upon the weapon but I don't think the number really matters... Tbh I only use daggers, swords and staffs and both swords and staffs have 5 so I thought daggers were the odd one out.
@@MisterK9739 Ah I only thought daggers were the odd one out hence I wrote most, my mistake. Haven't really used heavy weapons much.
you can get lumbago in ac odyssey
It's serious guys
Alexios walks and runs like he already has lumbago
I get tuberculoces
Shut up you fucking lazy shit , and go help John
*Overdo it*
one cool detail i noticed about Odyssey is that you can use a torch to burn the webs in tombs. its useless but definitely a cool little detail
I never knew I could jump on other ships without needing to actually fight them first as I love the idea of a lone mercenary just taking out a whole crew.
You should play black flag
3:36 are we gonna ignore the fact that he got killed with a shovel?
"You can add dead bodies in leaf piles"
That was available from the first or second Assassin's Creed.
Had the exact same experience as you. Probably because I played Black FLAG a month before I got odyssey.
The game tells you on the loading screen to hide the bodies. So the guards dont freak out and change their patterns.
I use specifically placed bodies to lure out and separate soldiers. Hunter/Assasin build op
I was doing this on instinct as well during when you fight through leader houses or forts. But it doesn’t work all that well in Odyssey. They can still see them even when I put them in the bushes. I may not be putting them in deep enough so I’ll keep trying, but it’s still annoying 😑
The fact that I can still loot ships after cleaving them was so usefull thx a lot
You can recruit bounty hunters if you knock them out instead of killing them.
I used it to get full legendary crew on my ship
Nulga oh shit for real
@@beznazwykontojestto4309 so did i lol
They have too much health you can't knock them down.
@Nulga
Look it up.
3:36 when you realize it’s just Monday
Ubisoft Quebec really knocked it out of the park when it comes to details in this game
Press the ability button when in range (yellow dot appearing on enemy)
you can also bring you boat near camps and, using the predator shot ability, you can target enemies who will not be able to detect you.
The ship boarding trick has been in the games since Black Flag, maybe even AC III when naval gameplay was introduced. I always used it to clear higher lever Man O' Wars and the legendary ships in Black Flag.
Attract mercenaries into water if they use poison/fire bombs. Fight them on the roofs if they have a pet
"Ship can carry a boat, but a boat cannot carry a ship"
One that I played 60+ hours before discovering was.. you can stand.. on the horse.. when riding it.. like I played for so long and saw a hint that said in loading screen and it blew my mind..
Lol same
Kai Zhi yes I know lol just I hadn’t discovered this feature until I was very much deep into the game lol
Kai Zhi you can also press your Assassinate button for insta-kills
kenny hare you can dive in water while in that stance to
You can do front flips midair and somersault as you hit the ground to receive virtually no damage
Yo when the civilian killed you with a frying pan I lost it wow 😂😂😂
Tag sharks around shipwrecks with Ikaros. You can then shoot them with arrows while treading water to keep from having to fight them underwater. You can also shoot them from a small boat as long as they're tagged. That's one I didn't know that helped me recently.
That's the only way I kill sharks now, because screw them lol.
It's funny because I was actually working on making a combo video for each weapon type!
Alldayanyday1 On The PS4 want to see this
Yes please!!!!
I’m sure yours will be a lot more in depth :) looking forward to it!
The legend himself
So I had found a video that already talked about every combo attack and the best combos to use..it was released a few months ago lol RIP, not tryna steal content ya know
Cool, that one of killing spartans in the ship is really fun to try. and there is one that maybe some people dont know yet: while ridding, L1 and you can jump. I use it a lot. Great chanel, I will subscribe
I forgot about that! Assassinating from your horse is tons of fun :)
some one read the cycle info while loading screen
Underrated content.
I'll definitely give this one a try xD
The boar has apparently nerfed. Went in their and didn't have to use second wind
The ship one I knew from ac black flag, it's a useful strat and actually is helpful when battling the tempest, another thing you can do is if you manage to get into combat, the ai for the ships freeze up and wait for you to take back the wheel so you can use that to your advantage.
I like putting unconscious enemies in hay stacks and then setting the stack aflame.🔥
Siddhant Abhijit awesome tips, thank you!!
you can also get your bounty level up and have mercs chase you to your ship and pick them off until they are drained.
*1:11** I’ve been do this since Assassin Creed Rogue*
Pretty fun
Me too since black flag lol
MeyLow San lol I took out man o wars like that because they’re so hard to beat
One crazy thing I have done, very time consuming, using Ikaros to kill guards at the leader houses.
Haha you just keep harassing them over and over again until they're dead?
Yes. It takes a long time considering how little damage Ikaros does. But it works. Lol
If you power your Hunter damage up, Ikarus gets more powerful.
I really like your enthusiasm in this video! Made me smile :). Definitely subbing
You can use an "elevator" that there are in most ports. Just stand near one
You're tips we're way better than what- cultures or gaming bolts. Much love to you for making a true tip video.
I always make my character op asf first before I start the story . I’m level 69 and iv probably only done 15% of the story line .😂😂😂 every time I do quest iv already finished them from exploding the world .😂😂

one of the coolest random things that happened to me was that i was just roaming around outside a city (cant exactly remember where) and i saw a spartan and an athenian 1v1 so i did spectate them, when they killed each other i went and looted the body of the dead soldier and i found a note, that started a quest for me to go nearby in a cave and loot, so i did and found alot of drachmea. whats funny about this is that i already went to that cave like 2 hours before this event and looted it completely.
hahahaha that civilian just straight up shoveled your head.
Right? I laughed pretty hard.
I’ve learned to control the enemy boats I swim out to. Climbing the mast/ using your eagle repeatedly can sometimes get the empty boat started or stopped. They seem to go in certain pre set patterns. I’ve been playing this game too long 😂
You can knock someone out then throw them in the water to drown, also you can put people on the back of your horse and ride around with them
How can you make assaniate combo without stoping like first fight at 00:03
idk
I will definitely try those things

I’m really enjoying your videos, thanks for these tips.
you can use Ikaros to harass (and even damage) an enemy, while Ikaros is busy distracting you can shoot an arrow to their faces or use any of the hunter abilities and it won't alert them.
this trick can be very handy for taking down a mercenary, polemarch or any of those elite enemies with tons of health. harass with ikaros, shoot them, rinse and repeat until dead they'll never know.
Will try that.
As far as I can tell the Pegasus is only mount in the game that doesn't get hurt from jumping off high ledges. You can jump off from any height and it doesn't faze the pegasus. Handy for travel.
So true! I have accidentally killed phobos way to many times jumping off cliffs..
Man I love your videos! Top quality!
Wow daily upload :D
Idk if everyone knows this or not but if you have a hard time killing sharks you can use ikraos to find the shark then kill it with arrows or just go underwater and when you see a shark go back up (it will still be visible) and shoot arrows at it
3:36 am I the only person finding it funny how he dies to a civilian?

Also, you can parkor stab someone in the neck just like Achilles in the movie Troy by assassinating while running past someone...pretty epic
