I had a Newpol washer/dryer in the early 80s. Washed ok but with a pathetic 500 rpm spin the dryer naturally took ages and used a MEGA amount of electricity. I lived in a flat at that time and the residents werent allowed to hang laundry outside. HELLO!!!!

syhooverman Hello!!! Yes, that poor spin is a problem. Cheap washers in Spain had that problem in those days.
