- Back at the track this year with some track days with SpeedSF at Sonoma Raceway. I went to an earlier event at Sonoma on Oct. 19th with the same group but it was extremely hot, so back for a second time with much nicer weather. The previous event was my first time at Sonoma, so this time around I was able to put even better laps in.
My best lap of the day was a 1:55.1 but unfortunately I forgot my SD card so I don't have any video from the beginning of the day. During lunch I went and got a new SD card and was able to record the final two sessions of the day. Here is the one that was the most fun with lot's of interesting passes and still some good laps.
Sonoma quickly became one of my favorite tracks. Lot's of blind corners and crazy elevation change. Also my first time on track driving the car with 255 tires front and rear. The car was wonderful. Plenty of improvements I can make in my driving with more laps to better my lap time, and a few minor changes to the car will make it even quicker around here.

I really enjoy watching your videos man. I drive an 03 ep3. An AP2 is my dream car. I've never actually driven one yet :( but videos like yours give me motivation. I really wish you would upload more videos. Personally I prefer cruises and mountain driving videos rather then track videos. Aneways. Keep it up man :) awesome car and awesome driver.

That's a fun track! I had lots of seat time on iRacing before I finally had a chance to drive it in real life. The elevation is awesome.

Great driving man always a pleasure to watch your videos. What kind of steering wheel hub are you using, I am planning to get a steering wheel for my s2k soon and can't decide which hub. According to internets, some of the NRGs tend to wiggle and shake after some time.

Unrelated to this video, but do you think the MR2 AW11 would be any good for touge? I have my doubts because of the high chance of oversteer if I do something wrong, but I fuckin' love the car and touge.

What settings is your go pro on and which way is it mounted? Upside down? Spot metering on?
Mounted at eye level to front of my Arai helmet. I try to put the lens as close to eye level as I can. And yes definitely spot metering.
out of curiousity, was the s2k what you learned car control in or have you had others before this?
