Corner balance and alignment will improve the under steer. Ohlins almost eliminated the steering corrections made with stock suspension. Great comparison video. It’s like night and day!
The coil overs are not the main reason for harshness but the top hats and tires. And it definitely makes the car more under steer. It needs rebuilding periodically which costs 1/3 of the DFV price.
Understeer is more due to the driver's inputs than setup in this case. Also, he commented elsewhere that the setup had not had an alignment before this video which is just silly to do.
Hey bro, just wanna let you know that I appreciate all the time and effort that went into making and editing this video. 👍
Thank you! It’s for fun. I am glad you like it!

Thanks for the comparison!! :)
Nick Young The Ohlins is installed with the original top mounts, and without doing alignment. There was some understeer.
Front cross bar / adjustable rear camber plans? :)
Dam thats a huge difference! I think i made my choice haha
Thanks for the comparison, how is the ride by the way? Is ohlins more harsh/uncomfortable?

No, it has a quire wide range of adjustment, it should be comfortable with stock tires and top hats.
@@GT6only Guess rebuilding is something that has to be dealt with in the case of after market coils.
@@GT6only Yo, what does DFV stand for? I'm thinking of buying R&T coilovers too and I'm just curious what you mean.
@@GT6only How often do you mean by "periodically"?
Installing these on new Audi Q3 possible?
Not available for Q3, as shown in its official website.
Looks like loads of understeer. Was thinking about getting these but after seeing this no way

@@BKSeoulsuper late, but I agree. He was turning on super fast. Fast to the point the cars weight couldn't keep up which = understeer.
That kind of thing happens when you jerk the wheel into the turn like that. No coilover is going to fix that.
v1 or v2?
d hui Bought it in 2017, brand new DFV, have no idea whether it is V1 or V2.
Ohlins, not KW
There are two versions. V1 had 340/340 spring rates. V2 have 228/172 rates.
stock is better
