In your video you talk about Long Adaptation but on my 2008 Q7 It Adaptation not Long Adaptation, Further not all cars have control unit 61 does this mean I should use Control unit 19 ??? or does this mean no coding required. You mention using Long coding on control unit 61, what happens if there is no Long Coding option (as in my 2008 Q7 OR 2005 A6). With regards to BMW not all cars have the Battery Type and Capacity app
A question. Why can't my Firstgen device encode vehicles released from April onwards of this year? On data bus, modulo 19 with ODX file Ev_MQB2020CLASS I can't do Nothing? I sent a message to support but they didn't give me any solution. Thank you.
Why don't you guys provide a list of long coding and adaption instructions? Surely, this would encourage lots of casual users to upgrade to pro accounts? Just a thought
Thank you for your suggestion! OBDeleven has extensive FAQs covering various features, including the basic usage of advanced functions like coding and adaptations. Since these features vary greatly based on car equipment and other factors, we don't provide specific instructions. PRO and ULTIMATE plan members, who often have more experience, can typically perform or find the necessary instructions for their needs. We appreciate your feedback and are always looking for ways to improve!
Question : why do we need to do this ? If the replacement battery is the same. Does it impact performance ou something if we don’t register the new battery ?
Your battery will not last long because the car's computer will treat it as an old battery. There are many reports of new batterie dying within 18 months when the car is not adapted to the new battery.
Both the older First Generation OBDeleven device (Android-only) and the newer Next Gen device (works with iOS and Android) can perform the battery change adaptation for VAG cars with the PRO VAG plan. Coding and adaptations don't require credits; you just need the PRO (or ULTIMATE) plan and knowledge of how to perform the changes. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our support team through the "Help" section in the app. Thank you!

Awesome! Our battery drains quite frequently due to onboard telematics. This will save us the trip to the local workshop.

Hey, I'm unable to find my battery vendor code on the sticker? It's looking for numbers but my sticker has letters, unless I'm looking at it wrong?
I bought the OBDEleven Pro for my 330e a few weeks back on Amazon. Curious if new updates will offer more personalized coding features.

@@robkunz5 oh ok. I understand.
Thx for the answer 🙏🏻
Can both OBDeleven original and nextgen change battery adaptation? Also, do I need the pro plan or credits to do this?

Thanks for the reply. I ended up getting a Carista. Was much cheaper and didn't require any subscription.
Actually I am changing my cars battery right now 😂 can't get a better timing
