This is such a beautiful apartment! Where did you get the chairs in the dining room from? They're so cute! Could you film a video on how you guys went apartment hunting in NYC? If this is too personal I understand, but I was wondering what neighborhood do you live in?
Thank you! The chairs and the table are from Ashley furniture believe it or not! We are lucky and the apartment is somewhat linked to the fellowship- all the fellows live here and then pass it down to the next fellow. It is close to Cornell on the UES :-)

I am so impressed with this place! Wow! Thank you a lot for the apartment tour! Now.. I really want to politely ask the obvious question several of us want to know and that is: “How much is the rent for this place? What district did you end up living in?” such a spacious place!!! Thanks Andrea. I will be moving to NYC next year and this helped a lot!
Florida Life all very reasonable questions! This is on the upper east side and I am incredibly lucky that some of the rent is subsidized by the university. But it’s still quite pricey!!

Where is your the keyboard from?
Great apartment! How do you manage having a dog in the apartment, especially with both of you working full time? Do you use a doggy daycare? I live in an apartment and really want a dog but I've only had a dog in a house where it's easy to let him in and out to the yard. Any tips?
We take Finn to daycare once a week and have a dog walker come in the middle of the day on the other days. It works for us right now!

How often do you cook at home? Do you order your food from outside most of the time?
I find cooking time consuming.
I cook a big batch of something most weekends and then we eat it all week. We probably eat out one meal per day or less- we almost always have breakfast at home and then eat out for lunch or dinner but usually not both.
How much is your rent in nyc
This is a HUGE space for NYC where is this? I thought fellowships dont pay that well....
We are so lucky because we get subsidized housing through our fellowship!
