I live in Belize and when i saw this video it peaked my interest to see what people say about the country.
Could u pls help me to know more about belize, especially biz opportunity.
I LIVE IN BELIZE TOO😃
@@jaydenbelize9606what do you like most about it?
Belize is so laid back and relaxing. I stayed on Amber Gris Caye outside San Pedro a while back. Great people, great food and a wonderfully relaxed lifestyle. Great place to go to unplug.
Your channel is much better than reading the Embassy information about a country hahaha, they straight up scare people from traveling while you show the real deal and tell us how it is! :D Thank you for yet another great video!
I just returned from 10 days in Belize. Toured all over the country. The people are actually really nice. The food is amazing. And the money exchange is easy to deal with. The roads don’t have good signage. It can be challenging to drive there. I did get used to it however. Definitely going back
Thanks for visiting us. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay. Come back soon 😊
Oh man, this makes me miss Belize! Such a beautiful place and Caye Caulker is stunning.
nice job putting this together
This is wonderful information, thank you so much.
Your videos helped us a ton before going!
Wolter, I love your videos. I travel a ton, or try to... and you seem to be hitting many of the places I'm going to this year. The info is great.
thank you for this video. you are always very informative. hello from the philippines!
no one could put more useful information into 12:51 than you did. very informative, thank you.
Thanks m8 I was 👀 up Belize 🇧🇿 cause I heard of it today and you post a vid 15hours prior
Great work! I like how you talk quickly and hit the main points. =)
Walters I love ur video keep producing more
Your videos just get better and better, thank you, Mark!
Thank you Angela!
We just visited Belize in February and your info is spot on! We also stayed in San Ignacio (at the Midas, I recognized it right away), in Pine Mountain Ridge and on Caye Caulker. Great country with warm and welcoming people and I’m glad it’s been getting some well deserved attention!
Hi Laura, I'm heading to San Ignacio in a few days, did you hire a private driver at all? and do you recommed any particular thing? I'll be doig the ATM cave, cahal Pech and hopefully caracol if I can find a driver
@@nelsonmolina1846 Sorry I didn't see this sooner. We rented a car for the mainland part of our trip so I can't help you there. Enjoy, you have some great sites on your list!
Fry jacks and fritters!!! yes please!
We are currently on Ambergris Caye but might be heading to Caye Culker soon, if you’re still there I’ll keep my eye out!
Thank you so very much for that!
Thank you'' Wolter'' great info love it' and im Belizing it already ''
sorry i forget alot to give you a thumbs up i know i like that on my channel so you are so informative thank you so much .
Did you guys do the Rio On Pools? Tricky, maybe, with little kids, but I (not a particularly adventurous older lady) have never had so much fun. Best day ever!
it is safe no doubt about it. we are in San Ignacio now. Every where we go you see women and kids walking along streets and roads, even after dark. BTW locals are saying the rainy season is changing. Today 10/7/19 was the first day with rain since we got here four days ago. The food is awesome. My favorite is the spicy onion soup with chicken
Thank you!
Where is Belize ?😂 I am Belizean and after moving to the states I have answered this question a million times. Great video!
Any suggestions for someone visiting Belize for the first time?
Wish I found this kind of video for all my trips. Thank you!
Keep up the great content mark! Love the channel!
Thanks David
Awesome info. I love ur vids hit every area of importance!! Thanku
This video is amazing I’m going there in a few weeks. Just out of curiosity are you working on an outline? How do you remember all this information? Haha
Great information! We’re planning a trip there next year, thanks for the help!
It was fun. My youngest was planning his honeymoon there with the girl he sits next to..m they're in 2nd grade
Nice video dude... BZ
The food looks sooo good! Great info once again, you pack so much into each video it's crazy! 😁
Our foods is to die for 😋
I think I might go to belize alone for a week and just unwind lol
Jocelyn looks so good. Good vid Mark
Thanks for all of the Belize videos, definitely think this might be our next family trip! :)
It os a great family trip place
I'm loving your T shirt, I'm Nicaraguan btw
My fiancée has family in Belize. I’m Mexican American and a history major; Mexico and the pyramids are close by; this will be a perfect vacation for us.
What he didn't tell you is you can't flush tissue down the toilet. There is a waste basket situated by the toilet. I noticed in Belize City drainage ditches where sewage ran along the side of the streets. Sounds unpleasant but it is still a beautiful country. I got to experience Mayan ruins, snorkeling in Caye Caulker, and attended the Carnival for Independence Day in Orangewalk. Can't wait to go again.
Like in Puerto Rico hard to remember not to drop toilet paper in the toilet
Awwww hell. I picked the wrong month to go...June is my B'Day..
Hey Wolters! You specify to negotiate before getting into a taxi to feel more comfortable, I was wondering what you meant by that. Thanks in advance! :)
Does anyone have a recommendation for what type of suitcase to pack? We’re looking at staying at Caye Caulker. Would a rolling suitcase be challenging on the roads there? Or is a backpack suitcase best advised?
Go to Arundel castle in West Sussex!!!!!!
Hi, I'm traveling with my two kids this summer. What tour company did you use to zip line and snorkel with your kids? Thanks
Oh we do love Belize!!! Great stuff!!
It is a great place
On a visit to my sister a few years ago, I took a picture at the airport of the welcome sign and they made me delete it. So, I was surprised you had film of the airport.....Belize is the best, you betta belize it.....hehe
My nephew is going on a class trip next spring to Belize, I'll be sending him this.
Great to hear! We have a couple more on safety and cultural differences too. Hope they help
It was the country that British troops did their jungle training back before Belize independence. Great video and solid tips thank you.
Thank you. And enjoy your retirement.
How is the healthcare system there?
Is there a health insurance for foreigners living there? And what about the cost?
Mark did you get sims card from the airport or can you get a sim card from the airport?
Thank you for a very informative video. I am heading there in the 2nd week of Nov. Want to ask you if we can rent scooters there. Like 50 cc or so.....
Reply at your convenience.
Thank you.
can email me cerpa.emelie@gmail.com
Do any cruise ships go to Belize

Your kids are beautiful.
Wow the kids are getting big!
I know!!! Its scary sometimes
It would be great if you can advice on WHAT MEDICINES YOU TAKE TO AVOID FOOD POISINING or Travellers' Bugs??
Been 10 times. Never had a problem. Just remember to drink bottles water.
1:19 made me laugh so hard 😂😂😂
Talk about Corazol. That's where I plan to live
I'm from corozal did you made it to corozal if u did you could come visit me❤️
What kind of fish was that which jumped up in the air for the little fish?
I think tarpon
My best friend and I are trying to move to Belize for a year but we have no idea where to get started. I know it seems crazy but we are just trying to drop everything and go. Do you have any advice?
You can contact a realtor but also find a Facebook page. I would suggest figure where you want to go. And then go. Stay in a hotel or hostel while looking for long term rental. There are gringo prices and on ground.local prices.
Gringo prices, good to know
Belize is beatiful is very nice name is Alan Paniagua, I am froma Guatemala.
I CANNOT WAIT TO HEAD TO BELIZE!!! LIFE LONG DREAM. PATIENTLY WAITING ON OUR WORLD TO REOPEN. STAY SAFE!!
Tienes la t-$hirt mas hermosa del mundo... Viva Nicaragua
You forget to put suncream on!
Would you recommend getting vaccinations?
Where do you recommend going besides the islands?
We have the ruins that you can visit also. Xunantunich, Cahal Pech, Altun Ha, Caracol, Lama Nai, Laban Tub, Ni Li Punit
Thank you for suggestions @Carole Elijio
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! I'm looking to take my family to Belize this year, so this video will help prepare when I go out there. Also, it's great that it's an English-speaking country in Central America!!!Oh by way, why does Belize seem like more of a U.S. territory than a country???
No. It feels like a central american country that speaks English.
We adopt mostly to the American culture
This video looks great and good information BUT!!!
IN TODAY'S WORLD WITH THE COVID-19 I'M SURE EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED WHO CAN ENJOY GOING TO THE BEACH WITH A MASK ON AND EXPLORING ON YOUR OWN
Belize was BRITISH HONDURAS until 1981. That’s WHY English is spoken there and why they drive on the LEFT SIDE of the roads.
I saw at least two plates with a side of potato salad. Do restaurants in Belize serve a lot of potato salad? Good or pass?
h lynn keith We prefer eating rice. Eating potato would have to be on your request even though it is cooked throughout the restaurants here in Belize
I recommend Hopkins Bay is the best for staying !
Why is that?
Wanderlust Awe Syndrome it’s absolutely stunning and is beachfront. It may be a bit more pricey but it’s more than worth it, if your looking for that chillax at the beach type vacation.
Hopkins and Placencia are both great
Is there a tour of the MacAffee estate? and hangouts?
I'm sure an entrepreneurial Belizean will have one soon enough :)
There are a couple of people that are really cool and one of them is you may peace be upon you
Thank you. That is really kind of you.
Mark! Will you be going to Colombia anytime soon?
We are trying to figure out a quick trip to Bogota in the fall but cant find time off for the kids
Wolters World You should try Medellin before Bogotá, a lot more to see for tourists IMO
@@fsruiz64 saw some incredible priced tickets to Bogota hence why we were thinking more there. But so many great places
How's the seagrass on the cayes right now?
Filmed in February and it wants an issue then
We want to rent a car, how sparse are gas stations and how much is gas?
You can get gas almost anywhere in Belize. Regular gas is US$5 plus
we just got back stations were plentiful enough but when we traveled toward the south end of the country not so much.
Ben Rogers Yes thats true. Theres only one Shell Gas Station on the highway (situated at 6 Miles before reaching into Dangriga) and one on the outskirts of Alta Vista Village
☺☺😊👍👍💖
I belize you Sir!
It really is unbelizable
Come visit us please. You wont regret
4:44 This sign is a bit worn. :-)
why do everyone call the it caye 'cooolker'? everyone in the country calls it caa-ker
The correct name is: Caye Caulker
'Caulker' and 'caulk' are clearly and particularly pronounced in the south of England, in 'received pronunciation'- and there's the hint, the memory of that, in Belizean pronunciation, with a vowel sound we still share, which doesn't quite exist in American English. Imagine pronouncing 'co', as in 'coworker', but with an 'hwe' Its somewhere between 'co' and 'caw'. Combine pronouncing 'oar' and 'awe' (without sounding like you're from the Bronx!). If you're American... Yeah, no, sorry; that's probably not it. :)
Visit Bosnia
I guess it is what you have to believe, about belize.... 😅
Belize me. Its great
It is not span-glish it is called broken English(creole)
UA-cam is broken it says no views I know I'm not first
It only went love 2 minutes ago so you might have been :)
@@woltersworld I really like you're content
I love your videos, and I don’t want to be critical, but please do not eat conch. It has been over harvested and that has started to hurt some ecosystems.
Kriol is NOT SPANGLISH!!!!!! Stop referring to it as that
