Great review. After 5 years of comtemplating the facts. I refuse to pay thousands of dollars for a hot tub..Researched & getting parts and even worse servicing is grueling from what I have read (depending on where you live), so this is a great plug and play (110 volt, 20 amp) option. Will look at all your videos apart form this one. Thank you!
I'm glad you enjoy them. I made these series of videos for people on the fence about this tub being there are no UA-cam videos on it. The electric used is minimal as well. Thanks 😊
Great Video - Thank you - the documentation is horrible. Your videos are awesome...didn't know that was an ice beverage holder - LOL. Also quick way to find drain. LifeSmart owes you for these great videos.😀
That's my big design complaint about this... it is VERY difficult to get the stupid door back on for the cabinet (where all the pumps are and the drain pipe is). Other than that... AMAZING PURCHASE! Lifesmart customer service is also wonderful too!
So as far as maintenance goes, it's basically the same as treatment for a pool. You have to shock and add clarifier as well as use the test strips which you can get in a starter kit. I actually planned on making a video showing how I look in it being 6'3" to kinda show the length and height with someone in it 😊
Thank you for sharing! We just bought this and are setting it up now! Curious to know how you went with getting all the chemicals done right? It’s our first time owning a hot tub!
Thanks!! Also did you fill up the tub above the filter? The instructions say 1 inch above the jets but it doesn’t cover the filter if I just do it like that
@@chrissyviros8451 yes go right above the filter ring because when it goes into circulation the water will enter the filter ring and back out the strainer which is right next to the led light inside the bottom side of the tub 😊
So I just got mine after a month of waiting. Do you just keep the jet/heater button on full time so it will heat up to the desired temp and shut off and on when it needs to?
Yes the month is usually the delivery time, mine was about the same. You will just set the desired temperature and it will automatically turn off and on to keep the temperature displayed, also make sure your air valve is off and only used while your in it. As the air will drop temperature. 😊
One more question Andrew if you don't mind. Yesterday there was a symbol on the control panel that looks like a captains steering wheel. It is not there today. It's the first icon on the panel. Is it the icon for the air jets?@@andrewgiordano5509
So the jets are just forced air through the water. Ultimately it cools down the water quicker over time when in use. The tub will still go into heat mode but will take substantially longer to reheat with the air jets on versus off. Thanks 😊
So I'm about 6'3" and about 180 so I'm tall and very lean and me and about two other adults average size have fit in there with no issue, yes legs may cross here and there but plenty of arm room and seating. I would say 3 adults comfortably depending on their size or maybe 1-2 adults and maybe 2 smaller children would be fine for it. 😊
Thanks! I'm a big guy (6'7 280). I'm not looking to get a huge hot tub, but at least one I can fit in with at least one other adult or grown child. (They are not as big as me LOL)@@andrewgiordano5509
Hello yes the drain is located under the front removable panel. Remove the panel with the 4 Phillips screws and you will see it on the lower left side 😊
It came on two pallets shrink wrapped and bubble wrapped and the delivery person I had was exceptional and took it to my backyard on a power fork and placed it in my grass. Two people can easily tip and roll this tub. 😊
I keep it set at about 100, 101 and it maintains it pretty well depending on outside temp. On days when it gets super super hot the temp rises based off that without the heat but it still circulates every couple hours for the filter. 😁
@@67shadyone yes absolutely. Once it reaches the temp you set it at. It will turn off and then if and when temperature drops the heat and pump will turn on automatically to maintain that temp you set it for. 😁
I just leave it on the factory setting when it's turned on initially. It will cycle every couple hours as needed to keep the tub up to temp and also this is the filter cycle as well. Thanks
My question is when your done being in the tub do you turn the jet button on the control panel.off or just leave it off ive been turning off the jets with the knob just not sure about the control panel ?? I turn of the light's but what about the jet button ??
Helloo, so personally what I do is, I buy a 5pd bag of shock and every week, give or take depending on usage. I add about 1 tablespoon of shock to the tub with the jets and air on and let circulate for about a half hour. That's more than sufficient for a 240g hot tub. I just use a tablespoon and add directly to the water as it's circulates then check with PS strips. Water comes out crystal clear and clean. 😁
Thank you so much! They don't tell you where the power comes out. You answered it!
Super helpful, thank you!❤

Chemicals to put in? And where to put in?
Are you able to make a video of the maintenance and one with people in it? Thanks!

How much does it weigh? Empty and full?
Thank you for sharing! We just bought this and are setting it up now! Curious to know how you went with getting all the chemicals done right? It’s our first time owning a hot tub!
I would recommend to buy a starter kit on Amazon. It will include the test strips as well and chemicals needed initially with instructions! 😁

Added a new winter tips video all
Is the lowest water temperature 80 degreesF? Your video is great!
Hello, yes the temperature rating on these is from 80-104. Hope this helps!
another question is can you only run jets on low while heater is going if so could you show video of jets on low thanks
Yes. The air jets are on that knob which I show in the video and the more you turn it to the left the more air that is released. 😉
Have you had to remove any of the jets yet? Curious on how that works because I may have to take one of mine out
I have not, knock on wood. Can I ask why would it have to be removed? Plugged?
So I just got mine after a month of waiting. Do you just keep the jet/heater button on full time so it will heat up to the desired temp and shut off and on when it needs to?

Can the tub heat with the jets on high? Heat faster, slower, or not at all?

do you know it can be wired to 220v they say some plug and play models can thanks
This model I don't believe can be wired to a 220. In the manual it states which model can and cannot be hard wired 😊
ok thanks for reply@@andrewgiordano5509
What are the interior specs? I realize that it likely won't fit 4 adults, but can it fit 3?

Where is the drain plug located?
Please refer to my other videos, I have it shown and demonstrated 😁
Hey I just got one of these used and can’t for the life of me find the drain on it. Do you know where that is located?
Did you find the drain? If you bought it used did you have to disassemble it ? And was that hard
Hello yes the drain is located under the front removable panel. Remove the panel with the 4 Phillips screws and you will see it on the lower left side 😊
I'm uploading a video to show drain and power supply 😊
How was the delivery and its packaging?

@andrewgiordano5509 so it's OK to leave cover on while heat is continously on?
