Yesterday I almost got into a panic attack while I was relaxing at my PC. So I tried a method where I made fun of my panic attack. I was at the verge of losing myself before I did that method. I wouldn't say it's a solid solution, but I'm glad it worked before it got worse.
Thankyou so much for this. This was EXACTLY what happened to me and I was terrified,it took like a month for me to realise that this was the actual problem. The sensitization. Currently 3/4 way through my recovery and I'm glad I found ur channel. Thankyou for helping so many ppl who dont understand this!
Hey Shaan - Thank you for the advice. For so long I have been trying to challenge these sensations. When you mentioned, "You will never stop feeling this way, until you stop TRYING to feel this way;" it really hit home. I've been on the path to recovery for over a year or so now and I fell back into a bit of a slump after the extended holiday. I noticed my sensitization towards old feelings and this video laid out a better path forward. Looking forward to following your content!
Thank you for sharing this content Shaan. Seems like this is a missing piece to my anxiety puzzle that I’m currently going through. It really does make sense. Now that I think of it I have been super sensitized since I had my major panic attack back in April. Since then I haven’t been able to get over this anxiety. There are other factors involved but I’m currently recovering and finding my way back to life again. Thank you for sharing once again. 🙏🙏🙏🙏💛💛💛💛

@@koshakro6121 yea I used to google my symptoms all the time. It’s the WORST thing you can do because it always shows you the most negative results first! If you’re doctor says you’re ok. Then you’re most likely ok 👍🏼
I woke up at 5am with a heavy head, blurry vision and sometimes I feel unbalanced. I lay in bed trying to clam myself and it helps but it does randomly return.

is the trick to ignore the symptoms? by distraction? it’s challenging not to be bothered by the symptoms..
@@annabelhao accept that they might come and move on I realized being fixated on them was an even bigger problem than what the underlying anxiety is.

Thanks!
Great video
does ignoring the symptoms really help desensitization? sounds so straightforward but so hard to achieve
Don’t ignore them just let them pass without any judgment, over time they become less aggressive and less frequent
Very hard to achieve. It takes time, persistence, effort, consistency, and a lot of patience.
Did it make you dizzy like your walking on a boat 24/7. The more anxious I am the worse it gets...😢...
I’m like this all day everyday 😞
Me too
How do you mind set your thoughts to stop thinking about it, awful endless thoughts .?

are you guys taking meds to manage some of these symptoms at all?
What if someone has had dp dr for 4-5 years? Can you still recover? Does length of time having something matter for if you can recover or not?
You’ve asked this same question in every video - and the answer hasn’t changed ☺️
its so hard to believe id heal. i feel so broken from anxiety, it poisoned my body and mind.
My mind is not clear am I having anxiety
The self-doubt itself is part of anxiety tbh
Did you heal
