As I mentioned before there are several Ryobi tools also being marked down significantly - if you can find them. Even the Ridgid 9 AH bluetooth battery has had its price cut from $199 to $100 and now sits in our clearance end cap. There is a special on one of the Milwaukee small parts organizer, priced down to $20. I don't know if that one fits onto their packout system. The Ridgid small parts organizer had been cut by $5 to $25. That organizer does fit onto the Ridgid box systems. But back to DeWalt. What it means to me is that the 2.0 is coming to stores as soon as the original tough systems have been more or less cleared out. . Currently there are shortages in everything. You can always ask an employee if they'll match the HD website. Thanks BBR2, good info. I noticed in my local Home Depot yesterday the shelf where the old Toughsystem boxes are stocked is completely bare now, 10' long space waiting for Toughsystem 2.0 boxes to arrive.
Great video! My father gave me the 1.0 system last year as a college gift. It's been great so far but the latches on 2.0 have me sold. Just ordered mine from ACME, I might return the favor and give one to my dad. He struggles with those manual latches all the time haha.
Amazing review! I actually just bought the three stacked Tough system version one because it was on sale for $110. I purchased two of them. The Tough System V2 was on sale for 180, but I decided I’d rather have two full sets for a little bit more, even if it’s the older generation. I also only do work for my family, so I’m not using them as often as a pro might. I currently have all my DeWalt tools in their silly bags which I can’t stand. There’s gonna be a major upgrade and I’m very excited to start organizing my stuff. I’m constantly searching for my tools or attachments or bits and stuff.
Damn, you’re really thorough. I like that because you never get that thorough of a review sometimes, and then you don’t know what size this or that is. But you do it all, good job!

The biggest deal breakers on the 2.0 are the nice stainless steel front latches being replaced with those cheap-looking plastic and wire latches, and the elimination of the nice side handles on the 1.0. For those reasons alone, I just bought a bunch of the 1.0 boxes while they're still available. I don't consider the spring loaded side latches as that big of a deal.
The front latches are actually an improved design. People were reporting problems with the 1.0 where the front latches break because it's a thin amount of plastic that secures the wire. Also it's only the large tool box that no longer has the side handles, the other 2 new boxes still have side handles.

@@jeffostroff That's weird, since the largest box is more likely to need the side handles.
@jeffostroff. Thanks Jeff for the thorough review. Like you said, you were going to be thorough and you were. While the 2.0 boxes are not indestructible they can hold up and probably not spill our tools when the box is accidentally dropped. I'm also glad your cat was not hurt @41:44 in the filming of this video. It's not every day it rains toolboxes. Hope you and your family stay safe and well.
... after 6 months of waiting, finally the toughsystem 2.0 is in UK, the price is very good thanks to Screwfix, but the boxes are not that solid like the toughsystem 1.0 . The wheels doesn't have bolberings making the easy transportation harder than Milwaukee packout. Very good innovation with the connecting system, but still no replacement for the part from the boxes. On the toughsystem 1.0 I almost broken all, very sensitive place. I like the new system but I prefer the Rigid way to stack together the boxes.
@@jeffostroff... glad I should not buy them . This morning I had to do the stairs test, was more a life situation test they failed big time. First was the handler, which is to shor to go down on stairs, then was the laying forward because of the wait ,so I had 2 take the rest of the boxes and got down with the wheels box, and because is heavy and has no bolberings become a totally a nightmare first think in the morning.
The handle movement on the original is a plus, on rainy days mud and crap gets splashed all over those handle bottoms, they'd grind and get caught up without that. Time will tell if that's a problem with the new design but I'm thinking it will.
Great review! I just bought the new version, and had no idea they had a new system until I looked at the name 2.0. Found your review right away. Thanks.
I still use the DEWALT TOUGHSYSTEM TROLLEY - 150KG DSCARRIER. Still can’t imagine that the newer models can be as tough for use on a building site. Plus that you can slide the cases out individually so not to use up too much floor space.
Thanks for the detail, my latches just snapped off my 1.0 today. Not sure how they both broke the same day, may have been something I did. Will be getting the 2.0 tomorrow 👌🏻
The origional 1.0 dewalt toughsystem rolling box, I believe it's the ds450, handle is removable as well. All you have to do is pop out the plastic pieces on the bottom couldnt be easier.
Thanks for this video. I have the original cart and the Dewalt Jobsite box. They both require the tough boxes to have the side handles to latch and hold. Have you tested the 2.0 boxes to confirm that they will work with the original cart and job box?
Glad you enjoyed it, and glad you noticed, I spent hundred of dollars on the lapel mics and wireless mic transmitters, and $4000 on the camera and lenses, so glad people are noticing the difference!
Tilting back handle and hinge placement definitely better on the 1.0 system. The 2.0 rolling box lid hold lots of water if caught in the rain and the lid tips it all into the box when you open it. Massive design flaw. I've had to glue on a piece of EPDM to direct the rain over the hinges. The water test hinted at this problem, but didn't show it to its full extent.
They have a special for $178. You get the tough system 2.0 and they throw in a yellow tray of some sort. That’s going on right now Wednesday, February 22, 2023
I like the overall design. What bothers me however is that the boxes of the 2.0 system don’t sit as flush as the 1.0 when they’re stacked…allowing them to rock back and forth on top of each other, so if you have a whole stack, the entire stack rocks back and forth. I’m wondering if they do that even more once they’re loaded with tools? Or does the weight of the tools compress them enough on top of each other that the rocking is prevented? Let me know…I’m still in the process of deciding between the Tough System 2.0 and the Milwaukee Pack Out.
DEWALT actually has a large non mobile box DS400 but it’s only available at ACME TOOLS. Also acme also offers the yellow inner trays for the tough system 2.0 large and small shipping date sep 15
Very informative video. I'm in the market for a portable toolbox set. This video went to a lot of details and I loved it. Thanks for taking the time to make this video.
I am sorry that I did not watch this through review before replacing my large tough system case. The top tool tray is too small. They should include two trays. They also removed the tool rack that was in the first cases. I may jump ship and go to another system for my tools.
Anyone here that uses the gen 1 system daily tried these out? Iv used the gen 1 for years and love it but the 2.0 boxes just dont look like they will be as be as durable to me.
Hey jeff Great review video, very detailed & thorough. Much appreciated! Just thought I'd leave a comment to give you & other viewers a heads up re: the reasons behind the newly designed front latches on the Toughsystem 2.0 vs. the orig TS's all-metal latches. Although the orig latches might appear more robust, they were actually one of the most common points of failure on the orig TS boxes. Not the metal clasps of latches themselves, but where they were actually attached to the lower section of the toolbox. The molded plastic retention mount that the metal clasp snaps into, securing the latches to the toolbox, would often break apart, rendering the toolbox virtually useless, since you could no longer carry the box around with tools in it. So although the new clasps might appear less robust, they are actually better designed, far more secure and also lighter. Having used Dewalt's TSTAK & orig. TS for yrs. now, I've gotta say, although the new setup is more expensive, Dewalt has definitely done a great job of improving on nearly every aspect of an already great system with the new TS 2.0! Everything from design & engineering, to flexibility, functionality, capacity & build quality, has all been significantly improved! All, while still maintaining near identical external dimensions and above all, backwards compatibility. I think they're engineers definitely deserve some serious recognition and/ or design awards for what they've achieved w the TS 2.0 system! Thanks again👍👍
Not sure yet, as far as we know, these are the only boxes, as they were designed to be backwards compatible with the system, so likely no new carts, or racks, but maybe on the horizon they might release some half boxes, or shelf units, not sure.
Are these new Dewalt 2020 tough system much bigger than the T-stack that I currently have Is there any chance you could do a quick comparisons so T-stack V tough system 2020 thank you.
Yes these are larger. The T-staks are smaller, I think only 17" wide, they are the same as Craftsman Versastack, and the T-stak will connect to craftsman as well.
Wow. Great review and you are a brave man doing the drop test. What if you would have added 3 to 5 pounds of weight(rocks) while executing the drop test? Just a though and again great review!
@@jeffostroff still on sale around me, but out of stock too, i had to piece mine together, i hope you are able to locate some and do a video, there are barely any on this system and it is disappointing lol thanks for always putting out great content!
Good review Jeff. My old DeWalt system is good enough for now but when I see a deal I'll grab the new system and sell my old one. I think their new system is probably just as good if not better than Milwaukee.
2.0 also doesn’t have metal bracket on back side of box to allow use of locking bar on tough system hand truck. Does this mean they will no longer offer that hand truck? hmmm
Boo. Then 2.0 is not totally backwards compatible with 1.0 Those metal tabs on the back of the 1.0 boxes are so that the boxes can be securely locked to the DS carrier (what Dewalt calls their dolly). I guess you can still put the 2.0 boxes on the carrier arms just no theft and fall security the rear brackets give.
Both the small and the medium 2.0 boxes have the handles on the sides but the large rolling box does not. I don't know how that will affect it because I don't use the racking system
@@jeffostroff you'll notice the v1 box has space where the rails slide in, the big beefy handles are what locks it in place. Compare to the v2 non-wheeled boxes. I'll know on Tuesday if there is any way to make it work. 🙂
I noticed this as well... I like the fact that I can lock the rolling box in place inside my work van on the rough system van rack. I don't see this on the 2.0... maybe I'm missing something. The tough system rack is so nice... being able to pull out specific boxes for jobs, leaving the rest in place is key for me.
But the focus was a mess at times. He needs to either change the aperture setting (example, if it was at 2.8m, set it to 4.0 or more) to increase the depth of field, or just off the auto focus and set it manually for each shot.
Well done. A few edits are a bit wonky but no big deal. Question, as an engineer, what are your thoughts on the many different standards Dewalt has for their systems? Pro, tough box, tough system, Tstak? Why not one set of fully interchangeable components? What else can we look forward to with 2.0 that will allow Dewalt to close the gap with Milwaukee's Packout system?
I find their naming confusing sometimes. Like the Tough Case + boxes are not compatible with ToughSystem, so it does blur the lines. These 4 new boxes are backward compatible with all ToughSystem components and Toughsystem Worshop Racks. Plus the Tstaks I don't think are IP rated, so no gaskets, and they are smaller than Toughsystem, mostly a 17 x 12 footprint, whereas the Toughsystem is 21" wide. Tstaks are too narrow for me, but probably perfect for other guys. It's about the same size as Craftsman Versastack. I don't know where they are going with Toughsystem 2.o, but I think all they need is these 4 boxes, since the other components don't need to change.
The only thing I can suggest for you on that particular DeWalt battery charger having never seen one of course is check the height if it's below 4 inches chances are that could fit inside of the small tough system toolbox and you could put it in there inside some Kaizen foam to hold it in place or glue it to the inside of the box and maybe you have enough space also to put tools next to it or whatever but that would be something to look into because then once it's in that small tough system tool box, it will then clip onto the top of the tower of DeWalt tough system boxes and you can just roll it away with all the others
Finally is on the market.. I hope is better build then generation 1 because those boxes are very fragile when it comes to staking laces and aferen bracket. Will not be such a big problem if they are making some replacement for those, because now I have to came with one like I came with the rafters hook for circular saw, reciprocating saw , impact wrench .
@@jeffostroff , thanks but I am on the other side of the pond and by the time Dewalt decided to bring something here I am retired and I am not that old.
The 2.0 system is not compatible with the power station for some reason. I had my site broken into (i never leave my 20 v tools anywhere) I had master cut resistant locks on my boxes. They didn't cut the locks, they cut the plastic where the lock goes. They were pissed and threw my hand tools all over the site
Jeffrey I assume you are talking about the discontinued DCB1800M3T1 1800 Watt Portable Power Station. It Works with DEWALT ToughSystem storage solutions, and so therefore it should work with the DeWalt Toughsystem 2.0 no problem. It is not officially part of the family, but it will plug onto them. I wonder if 1/4" cables might fit through those holes, or if they would just cut the cables. Sucks having tools stolen.
PLEASE READ IF YOU’RE BUYING TOUGHSYSTEM Boxes I would like to add some information to this system that everyone should know. A) Compatibility The ToughSystem 1.0 Radio as well as the Four-Port Fast charger DO NOT latch well if at all with any ToughSystem 2.0 boxes. As of now my system has the TS 2.0 Large box with wheels as the base, resting under a TS 1.0 DS150, which sits under the TS 1.0 Radio and finally on top is my Four-Port fast charger. B) The ToughSystem 2.0 containers in the Small box were a step back. On the TS 1.0 DS130 and DS150 came with those small yellow squared or bigger more rectangular containers. The smaller ones could fit two 2Ah batteries, the larger container fit your 5Ah or even a DCB112-DCB115 charger. These new containers can’t fit shit in them other than like fasteners. You have to pull the tabs out and put batteries in them but now they’re just bouncing all over the place. I will be buying those new tool trays because they’re ToughSystem products so I will try out compatibility and give an update sometime.
Robert, I have not seen any place that sells the clip. I assume you mean the auto connect side latches? Check powertoolreplacementparts site, they have stuff like that, but 2.0 is too new.
@@jeffostroff i will check that maybe in the future they'll offer them on home depot website as they do offer the replacement clips for the tstack. Thanks. Looks like an awesome set-up for sure but I've invested alotta $$$ on tstack. Just trying to see if I can get the best of both worlds. Gonna email Dewalt direct let you know what they say👍
Jason that is a corner guard piece, very strange. On the front of the tool box left side and right side below the latch, and off to the side a bit on the lower corner is a small empty cavern built into the corner of the case. The black plastic piece is likely there to add stress relief on the corner if you drop the tool box. It's better to have the cap fly off than to have the corner of your box crack, then you just plug the corner cap back on.
Here's what I don't like about any of these stack systems! Are you ready? You have convenience based on inconvenience. You have to take everything apart to get to your tools. So the tough system or the pack out no thanks! Great video Jeff
Sorry Michael, I tried every possible way on the Versastack boxes, there is no ledge on the any side of the Craftsman products that are low enough for the new DeWalt 2.0 side latches to grab onto. Rotating 90 degrees side ways, there aren't even any ledges on the side of the Craftstman to fit on on the 2.0 latches
I bet by Labor Day they will be ready tog o, but don't expect any sales on it. Maybe by Black Friday. Right now tower price is $199, which is $100 more than the $99 tower price they had last Black Friday.

@@jeffostroff Its been well documented the side handles have a tendency to snap off. Ive had this happen to me loading the rolling box onto the bed of my truck full of tools..
I want to get this and when storing it in my van have a locker of some sort that it can slide straight in you can lock it so if someone does break into my van they cant just take 3000 pounds worth of power tools in 1 go. Any ideas anyone?
All of these boxes have a padlock hole, so maybe find a cable that will go through all of them and tie onto something else so they have to steal all of or nothing.
Huge difference in the latch system. The latches on the original system system clip on by that bent bar underneath and are always falling off on mine if they're left open and someone walking by snags them with their pant leg. The attachment of the latches on the System 2 looks bulletproof in comparison.

Great video! Also, your audio and video quality are excellent...well done!
Glad you enjoyed it, and glad you noticed, I spent hundred of dollars on the lapel mics and wireless mic transmitters, and $4000 on the camera and lenses, so glad people are noticing the difference!
The only part I didn't like about the originals was the latches. Now they fixed it. Good news for those that hadn't bought yet!
Yes very good news, so far I'm really liking these new latch mechanisms I just hope they last. Even if they fell we still have a warranty
The t-stak will fit inside the tough system pretty nicely. The craftsmen I bet will as well
I gotta try that!
Штука вери гуут , пользую давно и с удовольствием , привет из РОССИИ
They need to make an adapter plate to mount Tstak on TS.
They make a vac plate for the UK.
That would be a nice adapter to have
23:30 That tab will eventually wear down or break. The old case with the tilting back handle/lid was a better design imo.
Time will tell, but they have a warranty
Tilting back handle and hinge placement definitely better on the 1.0 system. The 2.0 rolling box lid hold lots of water if caught in the rain and the lid tips it all into the box when you open it. Massive design flaw. I've had to glue on a piece of EPDM to direct the rain over the hinges. The water test hinted at this problem, but didn't show it to its full extent.
The radio isn't complete compatible with the DS carrier. You can also weld the box to repair the broken box.
Well I never had them tip over
DEWALT actually has a large non mobile box DS400 but it’s only available at ACME TOOLS. Also acme also offers the yellow inner trays for the tough system 2.0 large and small shipping date sep 15
Yes I need to check that one out too
Very informative video. I'm in the market for a portable toolbox set. This video went to a lot of details and I loved it. Thanks for taking the time to make this video.
Glad it was helpful!
Enjoyed your video. Might have missed it on here. But do you have any idea what the yellow pop up tab on top is for?
I think it is to help hold the small half width jobsite organizers
One of the holes in the lid is for the tracker, did you ever figure out the other? Seems pretty intentional for it to be there
I have never been able to find out anything else about that lid why that other hole is there
@@jeffostroff is it the hole to put the yellow adapter in to attach 1-2 small tool boxes to one on each side maybe?
I am sorry that I did not watch this through review before replacing my large tough system case. The top tool tray is too small. They should include two trays. They also removed the tool rack that was in the first cases.
I may jump ship and go to another system for my tools.
Anyone here that uses the gen 1 system daily tried these out? Iv used the gen 1 for years and love it but the 2.0 boxes just dont look like they will be as be as durable to me.
I have both, and the newer cases seem just the same to me, but the ergonomics are greatly improved on the 2.0
I got the the new rolling 2.0 and it seems tougher to me, and the clamps are way better.
Agreed, the new boxes use a different, thinner plastic. The new features are great, but they certainly don’t feel as tough. I have both.
The old ones are more rigid but that also makes them more likely to crack.
Awesome break down did you get any new inserts with foam? If not do you know how many deep and shallow will fit in each size
I have not bought any inserts yet.
What is scary my local Home Depot thought these are new, meaning they just came out. I was like they been out for months.
Many Home Depot stores never even got any stock in yet, so for them it is "new"
Hey jeff Great review video, very detailed & thorough.
Awesome info thanks Brian!
Solid info bro 🤙🏽 Cheers
This was a great in depth review , great job Jeff , thanks 👍🏻
Thanks Assad I'm glad You liked it
Ever do a test for the ridgid set? :D
hey great video! Was wondering where do you go over what other boxes will be rolling out in the 2.0 format? Thanks!
Not sure yet, as far as we know, these are the only boxes, as they were designed to be backwards compatible with the system, so likely no new carts, or racks, but maybe on the horizon they might release some half boxes, or shelf units, not sure.
That new shiny plastic looks cheap, just brought some more ds150 are for sale 22 bucks a piece its a steal, great review!
Thanks Nixie! Actually I think the plastic is the same material, just textured differently.
i think all i want from the new system is the stackable bits that go inside the boxes but i like the old boxes and i think thy are stronger
I bet the new boxes are stronger, with all those reinforced ribs on the plastic.
@@jeffostroff i have not yet dropped my old ones off a roof, ill let you know once i do and we can compeer them haha
Does the big box separate from the wheels?
No the wheels go through the bottom of the box
Great review! what camera did you use?
Thanks! I se a Nikon Z6, came out 2 years ago, great camera, but it's that 50 mm f1.8 lens that gives me that theatrical blurry background
great review. hope the yellow insert for multilevel compartmentalization come out soon. it will be pretty. also with Kaizen foam
That would be cool!
@@jeffostroff also try manual focus to prevent some accidental blurry shots brother.
Are these new Dewalt 2020 tough system much bigger than the T-stack that I currently have
Is there any chance you could do a quick comparisons so T-stack V tough system 2020 thank you.
Yes, these were no load tests, and so the damage might have been worse with a payload inside them.
I don't know if you have, but can you please review the craftsman versastack system, I think they also work with DeWalt tstak setup as well! Thanks!
I actually tried to by one but were on sale at Lowes Fathers Day but none in stock!
@@jeffostroff still on sale around me, but out of stock too, i had to piece mine together, i hope you are able to locate some and do a video, there are barely any on this system and it is disappointing lol
thanks for always putting out great content!
That's the one thing I hated about the DeWalt was the side latches I stopped using them even without them the boxes stayed put
YEs on flat side walk, on a cart going into an elevator, they are just fine unlatched
@@jeffostroff I've had them in my pickup unlatched just a bungee cord so it wouldn't move around never had the boxes fall
Does the yellow stackable inserts fit the old toughsystem boxes????.
No the front to back depth is slightly bigger on the 2.0 so they won't fit the Toughsystem 1.0
This was an awesome video I really appreciate it. Very informative high quality video.
Good review Jeff. My old DeWalt system is good enough for now but when I see a deal I'll grab the new system and sell my old one. I think their new system is probably just as good if not better than Milwaukee.
Plus at $199 Vs $279 for Milwaukee, the DeWalt is almost half price.
@@jeffostroff It's closer to 2/3rds than 1/2.
2.0 also doesn’t have metal bracket on back side of box to allow use of locking bar on tough system hand truck. Does this mean they will no longer offer that hand truck? hmmm
Or maybe they come up with a new type of hand truck that no longer needs the bracket.
Boo. Then 2.0 is not totally backwards compatible with 1.0 Those metal tabs on the back of the 1.0 boxes are so that the boxes can be securely locked to the DS carrier (what Dewalt calls their dolly). I guess you can still put the 2.0 boxes on the carrier arms just no theft and fall security the rear brackets give.
so the 2.0 tool box has no handles so it wont lock into the racking system were as the 1.0 has handles? correct?
Both the small and the medium 2.0 boxes have the handles on the sides but the large rolling box does not. I don't know how that will affect it because I don't use the racking system
Why not start with the water test first LMFAO 🤣
Jeff you seriously made me laughed, I really enjoy your reviews. Great job!
Glad you enjoyed Eddie!
Besides Black Friday I've only seen these boxes on sale once and it was online on a tool site so if you're waiting for a sale it's never coming
Yes International Tool and I believe Acme had the lowest prices at $199 for Packout last Christmas
If you remove the handle from the Tough System Tool Box the cover on a Honda Ridgeline truck will not close.
Seems one major difference is the rolling box is not compatible with the racking system like v1 was
I don't have a racking system is I cannot est it out, but DeWalt claims the 2.0 is backward compatible with the ToughSystem line
First impression: Video Quality is amazing.
Glad you think so! Spent a ton of money on that camera and the high lenses.
Good stuff. Great review too. Thank you.
Any suggestions on attaching by Multiport Simultaneous Charger (DCB104) to a TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0? Thank you!
Not in stores yet, you have to order them from Home Depot Directly for now. I put links below.
Thank You! I’ve been waiting fo this since 2019...
Yes, us too since about October when we first heard about it.
Interesting that you twisted the yellow release handle with an overhand grip. I’ve always used underhand with my thumb over the top.
Interesting! It's natural for me since leaning over my hand is already in the overhand position.
PLEASE READ IF YOU’RE BUYING TOUGHSYSTEM Boxes
I would like to add some information to this system that everyone should know.
A) Compatibility
The ToughSystem 1.0 Radio as well as the Four-Port Fast charger DO NOT latch well if at all with any ToughSystem 2.0 boxes.
Any idea when the trays are coming out?
@@jeffostroff my Home Depot app says I can order them and they arrive the 7th
I got a question for you Jeff. Can I buy those new clips from the 2.0 and put em on my tstack?
Robert, I have not seen any place that sells the clip. I assume you mean the auto connect side latches? Check powertoolreplacementparts site, they have stuff like that, but 2.0 is too new.
@@jeffostroff i will check that maybe in the future they'll offer them on home depot website as they do offer the replacement clips for the tstack. Thanks. Looks like an awesome set-up for sure but I've invested alotta $$$ on tstack. Just trying to see if I can get the best of both worlds. Gonna email Dewalt direct let you know what they say👍
With the holiday promo pricing coming. I’m really torn between getting the toughsystem 2.0 set or the Milwaukee Packout set.
Get one of each!
I tried that in store, and I like it. I'm planning to replaced my big storage.
I am loving this new redesign!
Looks like a winner- heard the voices and did it
Watch the tracking, it will show up at your door when you least expect it
41:42 a black pieces appears to break off the DWST08165 Toughsystem 2.0 Small Toolbox. What was that?
Jason that is a corner guard piece, very strange. On the front of the tool box left side and right side below the latch, and off to the side a bit on the lower corner is a small empty cavern built into the corner of the case. The black plastic piece is likely there to add stress relief on the corner if you drop the tool box. It's better to have the cap fly off than to have the corner of your box crack, then you just plug the corner cap back on.
@@jeffostroffThanks for explaining that.
Here's what I don't like about any of these stack systems! Are you ready? You have convenience based on inconvenience. You have to take everything apart to get to your tools. So the tough system or the pack out no thanks! Great video Jeff
Thanks Greg!
I sort of prefer the original small box that I have over the new one I’ve seen in Home Depot. Better organization inside.
I prefer the usability improvements of the 2.0
@@jeffostroff you mean the improved ergonomics? The deeper capacity without the lid trays? Or what?
Where did u get the tape measure from plz send me a link I like the jazzy green
That's the Lufkin Nite Eye, love it: amzn.to/2EHrKru
Thank you I have just purchased one
@@lee.7963 Awesome you will love it it has a very smooth mechanism
Will the craftsman fit sideways on the top with the latch up for small boxes
Sorry Michael, I tried every possible way on the Versastack boxes, there is no ledge on the any side of the Craftsman products that are low enough for the new DeWalt 2.0 side latches to grab onto. Rotating 90 degrees side ways, there aren't even any ledges on the side of the Craftstman to fit on on the 2.0 latches
Wonder when the stores will stock them.
I bet by Labor Day they will be ready tog o, but don't expect any sales on it. Maybe by Black Friday. Right now tower price is $199, which is $100 more than the $99 tower price they had last Black Friday.
They better than the pack out ?
I think it is all preference. But packout is almost twice the cost
Loved it do you have one on the Milwaukee pack out??
I have not acquired nay packouts yet.
Great review Jeff!
Thanks Shaun, glad you liked it!
Are these compatible with the garage racking system?
Yes it is on the flyer inside the 2.0 box
Great video I think I'll be picking this one up soon
Hope you enjoy it! I am digging these new ergonomics
Jeff, did DeWalt replace your broken box?
I have not called them yet, been so busy, I have a 5 ah battery that needs o go back too.
Jeff did you figure out how to remove handle?
yes, we have a section on that in the video
I hate this video. You made me want these 2.0 boxes even more!! 😂
Pat of my diabolical plan to take over the planet.
What table are you doing this on with the green channels
This is the Keter table, I also use the DeWalt folding table as well. We did tool review videos for both: Keter Folding Work Table Tool Review, DROP Tests Work Bench: ua-cam.com/video/2RcUWNzwOAg/v-deo.html and also the "Dewalt Folding Workbench DWST11556 Tool Review, Drop Tests": ua-cam.com/video/XBfuwIEGt-U/v-deo.html
That was a big drop and we thank you. It still is pretty tough.
Fun doing that drop too!
Why didn't they keep the slide handle for the hand truck
I can't figure that one out, maybe to give a little more space on the inside.
On the back theres a silver color metal thing that says lock.. whats that for?
This locks them onto the workshop racking system
Huge difference in the latch system. The latches on the original system system clip on by that bent bar underneath and are always falling off on mine if they're left open and someone walking by snags them with their pant leg. The attachment of the latches on the System 2 looks bulletproof in comparison.
But the Toughtsystem 1.0 latches they can be popped back in right?
Very through review. I love it! Thanks
Glad it was helpful! thanks for watching Armando!
Drop test before water? Um. Well thanks for the all the detail. I was certainly curious.
That was the one thing I forgot about, it was so late in day, 95 degrees, unbearable humidity, dehydrated, sore back, my focus was off.
Loved this video! Thank you.
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!
Are the new and old compatible??
Yes, we show it on the video
Does anyone know if the 2.0 tool trays fit the original boxes?
Probably won't fit, because the Toughsystem 2.0s have a slightly different front to back distance than the Toughsystem 1.0
