they work well...had this stove for a few years now and use it alot including on a thru hike of the AT...... I noticed you said your more interested in this stove for winter use....hope your in the south because Cold and Iso/butane dont get along to well and stoves start having issues running ,,,,, I purposely carry my Alcohol stove along also for just this reason !!!........ at 32* butane canisters start having problems...... at or around 20* Iso/butane start having problems and will leave you without anything at 15* to 10* ...... you will also note that the stoves are very tempermental to wind/breezes so a wind screen is advised (I just made one out of a soda can last trip cause I left mine home) :) P.S....Burns alot hotter on the green tanks and lasts alot longer due to shorter heating times
Both times you used the your it should have been you are or you're. When spoken your and you're sound the same, however, when your and you're are written they have completely different unrelated usages and meanings. When writing your, that which follows belongs to the person you are writing to. Your for you're or you are is an all too common spelling and grammar mistake. Also, do you know the reason for the ..... you use? Those are called ellipsis (also known informally as dot dot dot) is a series of dots indicating an intentional omission of a word, sentence, or whole section from a text without altering its original meaning. That is not what you were doing. Hope this helps you and others. Cordially.
Dude go teach your grammar class somewhere else. That man added good information to the chat something that would be useful to people who might be backpacking or van lifeing or even homeless but you got to come on here adding things that nobody needs in their life nobody's here is trying to write a book or report and if they need it correction they were just go to Google It's way smarter than you@@ricdonato4328
Really good review. I've owned a lot of backpacking stoves over the years from white gas, alcohol to canister stoves. I'm trying to reduce my base weight so I got this little light stove from Walmart. I used it this last weekend for the second time on a backpacking trip and was really impressed. It boils water fast. So far I've been very impressed with its quality for the price.
Just picked up one of these, I'm in rural southern Appalachia and got it just before hurricane Helene left us such a mess and I like it. I also have a folding fuel tablet stove that I can use as well. But I finally made it back to Walmart today and all these Ozark Trail ones as well as just all the stoves in general were sold out, and all the lil tanks of fuel as well. That's why I tell people you better stock up and prep early for any emergency's that might happen.
Mine don't work unless you light it with a lighter that igniter doesn't work but its pretty much the same as a msr just cheaper made in the same place China 😂
pretty sad ....the 1 time I posted I have to be harassed by a subscriber....my main reason for leaving any group......thanks .....you have good content but you also have a few fools in your mist.....we're out !!

Thanks for the info! I live in Southwest Arkansas and we don’t see as much really cold weather as other places. 👍

I just fried a spam sandwich on the exact same set up. Stove and the little 5 piece cook set are amazing for the price
I purchased one and take it when I go fishing at night. It works well for what I need. One or two cups of instant coffee.
Really good job!
I have one of these. It works very well😊
I wonder if it works as well with the green bomb fuel.
