This is perfect. Great demonstration and easy material to use. I have been looking for this video for weeks. These squirrels are a read nuisance. Some people think the are just the cutest but once you get then in your house LOOK OUT! It cost $$ from damage and to pay for Critter Getters.....

for the outside I usually use one piece, then make 3 folds, when you cut it leave the wire little pieces then interweave them and fold the wire pieces to lock it all together. when making the door I once again leave the little bits of wire and bend them over and under to make it spring loaded. so you only need the wire, snips and pliers ( I use a multitool). May be hard to visualize

Thanks! Great instructional video! However I suggest only 3 zip ties along each joint, 1 on each end & 1 in the middle. I’m gonna duplicate your one way door!

Thanks. I cannot find the heavier gauge coated fence material. I tried three big box hardware stores (Menards, Lowes and Home Depot) and all have none. Only stock lighter 20 gauge non coated which seems too flimsy to me. Any suggestions on sourcing the material?

How do you attach it to the house?
Put it over the hole you know the squirrel is getting in and screw the four flaps with screw and washer
