I miss cooking for the crew. I was working with a cruise company before. And cooking for the crew and seeing their tired faces shine back to life coz of enjoying the food gives me more motivation to cook better. Keep safe chefs.
It blows my mind how effortless you make these charters look. The insane amount of cooking talent to rummage up all of these dishes is wild to me. Most of us have only seen Below Deck so it's fun to see the BTS of reality.
If there are over 300 people applying for the job and the owners are super rich, then you can definitely assume that appearance is also very important for the selection. If I owned a boat like that, I would choose the most beautiful women.
One of many great videos on your channel! A suggestion: try to wrap the bungees around your crates so they're already pulling the crates "in". You want the tension built up in such a way that the bungee has already "turned the corner", rather than going from a straight line to a U-shape as the crate tries to commit craticide. :)
I LOVE that the staff are the actual real motor yacht sailors in essence and joy. They are clearly deeply happy and getting so much of the benefit of the absurd luxury, even if they sleep in the crew quarters.
Stable yacht while underway even through those rough seas or atleast through the eye of the lense it looked that way. Nice video, keep up the good work.
The content was excellent! A small suggestion, equalize the volume between you or others talking and the music. Sometimes the talking is really soft and then the music comes in and it gets really loud. I’m looking forward to the next video! Cheers!
Thanks, I enjoyed that. You can tell it's a helluva big boat when it has 5 washers and 5 driers! Also I guess that galley is just for the crew and there's another for the guest's chef.
Really enjoying this channel. So impressed by the chefs, the vibe, the positive energy. I can tell that it's a really positive work culture. What a unique job!
I am so pleased to see your videos. I miss cooking and baking for a crowd everyday now that I am retired. It was on land and their tastes were not as sophisticated. But everything was made from scratch. Provisions or shopping was always an on going job too! Thanks so much, keep up the good work and videos! Xxoo
I sailed from Hawaii to the Pacific NW. I love the colour of the ocean in the middle! I hate the waves leaving the continental shelf. I also got to say Land Ho after 16 days!
Brilliant video, loved it. Gave a great Brief look at a chefs role, I’m an ex RN PO Chef, done that crossing a few times, the worse one though has to be the South Atlantic in winter. That’s really no fun at all. Loved your enthusiasm, subscribed so looking forward to seeing more
Hallo Nina, Thanks for the great Tip about the Kamikoto Knives. I ordered these to Germany and it didn`t even take a week for the order to arrive. Super product, great quality. I´m excited. Thanks keep it up. Greetings Peter
. This is the best vlog. Wow beautiful yacht!!!!! Love the Galley Thanks so much for an entertaining and informative vlog. Mega fun on this yacht!!! 🥂🍹🍸
The Cross-dressing party looked absolutely amazing fun! Wish I had sea legs so I could experience sea life, sadly I only have one working leg so it's the land life for me!
Bruh peg leg? That makes you a pirate by default trust me I sailed a replica 1812 privateer/pirate ship for years, yes it would be a handicap, yes you could do it. Unless it's a condition that's left you with a useless but intact leg and some other crippling and terrible effects in which case apologize.
Cheerful, competent, and ready for more. I think you must make an excellent crewmate. The playful exchanges with the other female were fun. Oh, and no one’s a “koala” on that boat!
I really enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for all of the effort you put into them for people like me to unwind to. As if your main job isn't taxing enough!!! It's great that you take the time to do other things that get you out of the kitchen. You must have the proudest parents. Any boss would be lucky to have someone as good as you working for them. It's really fascinating to watch. Like one second you're there thinking about what to make then the next you're just magically making the most amazing muffins out of the stock ingredients that's available to you. And then you think about balance and nutrition to make sure everyone is feeling good. That's hard to do. For guests and crew. and placed on a budget. The life style and hours.... it's all just really amazing to watch. You make it look easy. We all know its' not and you're good at editing out those parts.
This is an excellent video, definitely would love to see more content from you. Topic is interesting, presentation is excellent, and your co-stars were all great additions! video suggestion - maybe some deep dives on how your role as crew chef interacts with the other crew members, "a day in the life" type of video, and then maybe some of your culinary tips for maritime trips.
Just discovered you wow. My wife and I were glued to every video from this boat with Jaded so great to see more. Please keep it up love all the day to day stuff and especially the galley content.
amazing kitchen and galley . i've worked in pub kitchens with 50 seat restaurants with less , OAP Tuesdays , gammon, fish and chips, steak and ale pie, veg option and dessert ! a stove a hot plate and 2 fryers. a cold side for garnish and dessert, a double heat lamp hot plate to serve and send. good times ! great video
I want to come on board with you and work as your apprentice sooo bad!! ( Not kidding.... Im not done with school but I love cocking and the sea so...) And y'all seem so nice and genuine! I love it.
Great video, i am constantly looking for new content i havent seen before on UA-cam. Great work and interesting too. Being a chef myself seeing the kitchen was great.
Brings back found memories,... I used to work charter cruises around the med 20+ years ago for 8 seasons, my first #Deckhand/2nd engineer job was on the #HenryMorgan based in #Nice (an old stinker) at the time, and gradually moved up, then at the end of the Med season it was time for the crossing on an #American Yacht called the Falcon for the Caribean season. the low point was working on the Kingdom in Antibes #PortVauban, Drama!!!... awesome video, thanks
Nice video. I've been watching sailing video for a year now and this one pop up and so I've decide to subscribe. Please keep up the good work and look forward to more.
LOVE THIS! Gave me all the nostalgia for popping to Baluard on a Monday morn when no sourdough had been made the day before. Their fruit bread is life. Also shout out to the tross, spotted her alongside you at the beginning 💔💔💔💔💔
Another great and very creative Video. Your Chocolate cake looks yummy. Nice to see that although you are keeping very busy in your kitchen also you are having a good time with all the rest of the staff. By the way where is Tilly? Please keep sharing your Content. And always keep safe.
Editing tip, if i may be so bold. Please try to normalize the music and voice levels. the Music is a good bit louder than the voice segments and i found myself having to turn the volume up and down constantly.
@@davidblair6276 he begged permission (the "if I may be so bold" part) to give FREE advice. It's very good advice, as I'd literally paused the playback to be about to make the same comment. The video quality is great, but the music is deafening at the level where her voice is clear, or she is inaudible at the level the music is vaguely bearable. But hey, keep on complaining about others offering free advice that wasn't to you, or for you. It makes you look really smart and caring, honest.
Google DialNorm. Our transcoders adjust audio volume so that commercials don't sound excessively loud. This also sets the volume to be "similar", so when you change channels, the sources which come from different studios (with their own levels) all appear to be at the same volume to our customers.
Did you ever think that the 1st Officer is seeing boats in the distance on the radar and steering towards them so you can all see them???? So he can take your money!!!!😜😛😁🤪
Wow, a chef that rides a skate board. Gimme a break !!! 🇨🇦 absolutely love it.

This is a great channel. A brilliant intersection of yacht life and cooking! Hope to watch it evolve and get better!
Welcome aboard!
for some reason, any crew on ships like this are always just stunningly handsome/beautiful..
It must be all that fresh salty air that does it.
If there are over 300 people applying for the job and the owners are super rich, then you can definitely assume that appearance is also very important for the selection.
If I owned a boat like that, I would choose the most beautiful women.
No matter the work itself, it's fun to watch people who enjoy their job. I bet your meals taste incredible!

Incredibly impressed, not only do you have to be an excellent chef but you have to be a master of organization.
That goes hand in hand 😛
I missed my vocation, I should have been a billionaire boat owner.
It’s easy these days. Just identify as one and everybody has to accept it. ;)
I should have been your boyfriend.

just get rid of the crappy music
Yes had to give up on it trying to keep it quiet then bam the loud music.
I was going to post this but I am happy it's top comment. Great vid otherwise.
Very interesting content but the volume issue with music had me bail after 4 mins.
I agree, I had to keep turning down the volume for the musical parts lol
That is an amazing ship, what an adventure, I was in the us navy and we never had a party like that. Love the videos
Well done, really neat to see the behind the scenes of such a big boat.
Thanks, I enjoyed that. You can tell it's a helluva big boat when it has 5 washers and 5 driers! Also I guess that galley is just for the crew and there's another for the guest's chef.
Agree. And from beginning of the clip, there’s an A/R logo on side of the boat. Abeking and Rasmussen... they’re known for building big boats...
Really enjoying this channel. So impressed by the chefs, the vibe, the positive energy. I can tell that it's a really positive work culture. What a unique job!
What a bubbly young Lady. Thanks for the tour
I pride myself on clean and organized, kudos to your kitchen and pantry!
The young lady was pleasant and engaging. Her storytelling equally so. That was fun and I would look forward to another.
i could listen to her accent all day
Lovely open-faced Aussie kids. Keep safe girls. Regards from an envious old girl in the Blue Mountains.🇦🇺

I can not get enough of these videos. They are so relaxing and informative.
This was great to view, work amusements and arrival .
Really enjoyed this video, hope you can continue to produce them regularly! Would like to see a quick tour of the ship!😉

Hi Peter - that's so brilliant! I have literally just finished using one for my dinner, roast pumpkin soup for a chilly day. Enjoy them :)
I appreciate that somebody on Arience decided to pick up the mental. The most filmed yacht ever now lol
That’s incredible you have windows in the galley! Amazing design!

What a great little film! You look like a fun group and the yacht is 🛥 quite posh! Thanks for sharing.
So talented!!! Clearly there’s a lot of hard work there but you do it with a smile and it’s so much fun to watch!
Always enjoy your videos and the scenery in and out of port as well as the different parts of the yacht. Keep them coming!
After years of working on the Bering Sea...double up those bungees and use the semi trailer type rubber bungees.
or the 1in ratchet straps.
I work on the south ocean fishing build your freezer for bad weather instead of having to put up bungee or straps have metal guard rails
You mean lorry rupper bungies?
@@Priest92 New term (to me) for the product I mentioned...but yes.
The crossed bungies was a bad plan. I'd keep them lateral and use bigger ones, or double up.

You're such a Dope chef, I like the way you roll in your skateboard, so cool👍👍👍🙂
Hello! Just stumbled into your videos and have been binging them all. Humorous and entertaining! Keep it up!

Was that really 6 washers and 6 dryers in the laundry? This boat makes the Below Deck boats look like tenders! my god what an amazing vessel!
No, only 5 washers and 5 dryers! @ 6:31
@Yama Fanboy Totally. I couldn't believe there weren't eight of each.
