OMG...😞I sooooo needed to hear this. I am an emotional overeater. It is so hard. I feel depressed and out of control. When I eat, it feels like I am full of mixed emotions. I eat to fill my emptiness and sadness. Then I self loathe, then try to justify my overeating by trying to convince myself I don't deserve to be happy. The fat surrounding my body is a deterrent to finding any happiness because no one wants to love a fat woman like me. I am not looking for pity. I am trying to cope. Maybe by typing this I can find the courage to get help.🙏🏻😞

what triggers you to overeat, maybe you should start from there and do your best to change it, you can do little changes everyday but if you have big determination then you can easily conquer everything, nothing is perfect but always tell yourself to try and just give your best we only have one life to live and time is so fast so its terrible thing to waste not doing your best even in the most simplest way and by the way its not true what you say that nobody wants a fat woman? that is insecurity, you cannot just look on the physical appearance ,the inside is what matters the most and it will show from within, it is also important you surround yourself with good people ,good friends or family members that will encourage you and vice versa ..and try to stay away from negative and toxic people

dashielle neishan Thank You so much for your kind encouragement. I am trying to focus on gaining a more positive attitude about myself to help me break free from my depression and overeating. I am working up the nerve to call my doctor to seek professional help. I can't continue living like this everyday. I physically hurt, sleep for endless hours at times, then up for over 24 hour periods. It's taking a big toll on me mentally and physically. I can't remember what day it is sometimes.

you can try natural protein powder ,it easily fills you up and everytime you get hungry or when you feel you want to nibble you can opt for healthy snacks with healthy dips like hummus, guacamole, etc etc especially the ones that are high in fiber just dont be too much strict in your diet though ,you can give yourself a treat once in a while and try to avoid counting calories ..just focus on eating healthy but dont forget to be happy in your life.. I used to count my calories and it didnt make me happy really..what just matters is you are eating healthy because ,its important that you are enjoying what you eat and not pressuring yourself ,just try to have fun and think of what makes you happy or even little things that make you happy and it will surely give you motivation and make a big difference in your day, and stop overthinking things dont let insecurities get the best of you ,honestly speaking, you are beautiful ..trust me,bless you!

Thanks again!😀 I shared with another little group that I sort of inherited on Facebook called Raw Vegan Homelessness. More good news! Today the nurse feels positive about me doing a high energy juice fast this winter. Then, she also feels positive about me going for a Vibrant Health/80 10 10 sort of approach to steer clear of diabetes and further candida troubles. Somehow the right words to give perspective to this nonvegetarian just floated out of my mouth. She thinks the cronometer is a really cool app, too and says my nutrient %s and goals sound good. I really appreciate the guidance.

Coming from a family who has unfortunately faced many illnesses and loss due to disease caused mainly from poor diet I know these changes are just what me and my family need. Today after reading your book I started swapping a few meals for fully raw vegan ones and even after one day of these changes I can say I feel amazing! And the Cronometer is such a big help it's cool to see all the nutrition and energy we can get from delicious fruits and veggies 😁 keep up on shining girl cuz you're lighting the way for the rest of us! 🙌🏽🌱✨

Anita V. wow, this person is sharing her experience and opinion and all you do is telling her how wrong she is. Clearly, and as much as I would like to, not everyone can follow a raw vegan diet even with following non conventional doctors. One person can be cured, but not necessarily the other. I believe she should get several different opinions from professionals and decides for herself.

what can you eat and not eat when you have hypthroidism? I know cabbage and broccoli or kale and the like are not allowed even soy or soy sauce , but is lentils ok .. I love falafel but even that I think is a no no if its made of chick peas I even love tofu but I think its a no no too then what can we eat it's hard to give up those food that you love , not even a pop corn will do

frieswithcheese thanks! I personally don't know many vegan nutritionists but I've watched a lot about veganism when I've done it in the past and would actually love to go back! I started because of ethical reasons but I know it's amazing for me as well
I guess I have to do the more research abt getting enough protein and vitamins in though ! And not eating too many carbs
.....Do any of you know what Christina does for getting all the right nutrients /protein etc?
Thanks for all the comments and support btw! 💗☺️ I didn't expect this much feedback!

Just one thing I disagree with. The body has to adjust to a new lifestyle. Give it time. Be patient. DON'T STARVE!!! Eat enough. It better to eat more than feel unsatisfied. Just eat healthy. People gain more weight by starving themselves.

preach it!! as an eating disorder survivor, I can say that once i started incorporating more foods back into my diet, i gained a bunch of weight. I probably gained like fifty pounds during the recovery process (I was eating cooked all natural vegan food but my body was so not used to getting food that it wanted to hold onto everything.) And now, almost a year after I began recovery, I am finally in my best body. Im not fullyraw cuz my doctors wont let me be but I am not a skeleton anymore and I am not overweight either. so even if it seems like you are taking steps backwards now, you are doing good things for your body as long as you are eating clean and exercising (all in moderation) .

Kristina, I'm vegan; and I talk to a lot of people about veganism. But lately I've had a few different people (guys) that say they "have to eat meat" or they get sick. No matter how well they eat as vegans or vegetarians. What do you say to that? Especially since you're not a "Dr".

What else is there to drink besides water? I am not much of a water drinker. Would tea or adding flavor count the same?

@snowangle hummingbird. No tea doesn't count as a hydrator. quite the opposite Though not as bad as coffee. Flavouring your h20 is the best way to go!

Decafinated tea counts the same as water. No caffeine to dehydrate. I love hibiscus iced tea!

I was in a clinic for a while and since getting back to work, I've been in love with my vegan strawberry salad. My question is for the vingerette dressing; what should I use as a sweetener instead of sugar? I forgot what you use.

Krystina I am normally a fan of your videos- I also follow you on Snapchat and Instagram. I know you don't intend this but this video is VERY VERY problematic. All it does is perpetuate the idea that a flat stomach is what is needed to be healthy, desirable, worthy of self-love. Someone without a flat stomach is still deserving of self-love and acceptance- and in fact can still be healthy. It's always good to exercise, practice self-care, drink water etc... but you can do all these things without a flat stomach & still be a person worthy of love. So for anyone who watched this who feels like a flat stomach is unattainable for you- that's okay. You're allowed to love yourself & be confident no matter what shape you are. Taking care of yourself is the most important thing. ❤️

Thanks you so much . I have a round stomach and I hate it so much . I have hated it for years now . Im one of the bigger girls in my school and I'm soooo self conscious . And I'm only 13 . Sometimes I feel like starving myself until I'm happy with my wait , but I just love food. Your comment has made me feel so much more confidant . Thank you so so so much , I really appreciate it xxxx

Samantha Shea Yeahhhh you missed the point of the video though. It's not JUST about the flat stomach, it's about looking after thy health.

No matter how thin I am and how much I work out, I don't have a flat stomach. I can be muscular everywhere else or bony everywhere else, but I always have a little fluff on my tummy.

Se puede comer fully raw si se tiene gastritis? Tengo eso hace meses y nada me cura por completo. Saludos desde Perú. :)

A flat stomach is not achievable or realistic for some of us. I naturally store more fat on my stomach than in other places (and spot reducing body fat is impossible). I once had a flat stomach but at that point I was severely underweight, bony and emaciated and looked like a skeleton. I had no energy, felt cold all the time and looked sick and everyone was worried about me. I had to gain again. When I reached a healthy weight I also got my belly back. I think I'm just meant to have a little belly fat. I have tried all kinds of diets and exercise regimens but I have never managed to get a flat stomach while maintaining normal weight.

If you're at a healthy weight but store a little extra on your belly, what's wrong with that? Everyone has different body types, and I'm sure you're beautiful the way you are. :)
