- G'Day & welcome back to another episode through North QLD.
In this vid we kick off with some Torrential rain at a beach camp called Barra Crab.
We slowly crawl north and find some good little spots to stay along the way. Some bush camping, low cost farm stays and we finish off at one of our favourite waterholes in QLD. Big Crystal Creek.
Hope you enjoy this vid guys and remember to leave your questions in the comments for us.
Cheers - Justin & Bec

It all started when…
In December 2015 we packed up and hit the road for what we thought would be a 12 month Lap of Oz. Fast forward 4 years and we decided to create a video series of our travels to show you all what it’s like to live life on the road!!
Yes please for the camping etiquette vid 👍😊
Go the camping etiquette vid!! Needs to be done! Even the ‘old love’ comments are funny.... I do the same with my missus and i think she appreciates it!
StrvnMrvn cheers mate
Without the missus bro....... I’d be lost! Happy Bday Bec!
Just weave a little segment of camp ground etiquette into each video it will be easier to digest in small bites. Thanks for a great video :)

Trip In A Van - RoadTrip Australia Series - Justin, what is the coal stand that you put your coals and camp oven on made of?
Can’t wait to get out of Victoria, might not want to come back.
Happy New Year to all your family, have loved you vids all year
Great tips, great parents - can't wait to start this lifestyle thanks! 🙋♀️
Happy birthday Bec, Hope you have the best day.
As near future grey nomads I am loving your videos and the great tips and tricks to help us start planning our trip. You have a lovely family and what a life your kids have. I travelled Australia with my parents as a teenager in the early 70's and it was the best time of my life. Caravan and 4wd are certainly different to back then.
Great Vic again guys, seems we've been to all these spots too....!!
Barracrab, Fraggy etc...
Did the Cape, but without our Van. We've upgraded since, so looking forward to the Cape Vids, towing a Van, to tackle it again.
Pennyfather River & Chilli Beach were epic...loved 'em both.

Mate!! Love your blogs, handy info, adventures & beautiful family. Im a few years of from buy a van & doing the big trip. Great work on the vlogs. They are giving me the warm fuzzy feeling. Heaps better than watching TV. Pretty professionally done. 👍🏻😉🍻
Great video.... little Charlie. What a darling. Had me in stitches. ... loved that brisket. Looked yummy. Safe travel. Keep safe..............
So cool. You guys are the best. 👍
Totally agree with you Justin on camp etiquette you always get one that think of them selves and not others
Adam Roberts cheers
Another great VLOG Justin, big mistake heading away from mangroves, when it started to rain, best mud crabbing is to be had straight after a fresh flushing? Can tell when your camp oven cooking is getting there, when you hear family comments of Fantastic 10 out of 10, beautiful? That part of east coast of Queensland, some of best of Australia certainly!
Hey guys, been watching your adventures since you purchased new van. It is so lovely to see your family, laughing, the kids happy, learning new things and having fun. Seeing also the most tucked away beautiful gems of Qld. When I turn on the TV, the world at present, being ravaged by Covid19, is so terribly sad. Only a year ago, I was travelling in Europe and Africa. Your adventures, take me with you, to a places, I believe, have the most incredibly beautiful scenery in the world. Was going to see Aust with my hubby when we were older, but we are writing our list of places to visit from watching your blogs. Love ya work..Safe travels. Cyclone Tracey 🙋♀️🇦🇺🍸
This is the first time I’ve been online when you’ve premiered!
Great vid again guys , we could believe there were so many free , low cost camps near us here in Townsville , north and south . We had to rewatch to jot down the sites . The camp oven cooking is improving , good to see .
Thanks again , looking forward to the next epp up the Tip .!!!
Peter Keys thanks mate

Rain in Queensland....well I am sure they are thankful for every drop. Last year dry dry dry..and fires...will e fun to watch....
Definitely do a camping etiquette vid, I could add a few after this long weekend that has just passed!
Bec on the rope swing was so funny 😂
Made me laugh
Happy birthday Bec, we stayed at proserpine dam and it was good for us with very few backpackers although the water had a lot of blue/green algae in it.
I have watched every video and l love them. You both, Justin and Bec have a beautiful family ❤️ and l wish you all happiness. I hope l can meet you one day Justin while in the travel's of our beautiful country.
Great video! Also, bought the exact same table a year ago for camping for the kids - pretty good but can be hard on the bottom sometimes and Justin ur quite a chef!🙂
Excellent episode, had a chuckle with the rope swing, that could of gone horribly wrong.
What a wonderful childhood
That was awesome vid guys. We just came back from a few of those awesome camp spots and so many people traveling due to Covid. Looking forward to seeing your next one.
Cheers mate, glad you enjoyed it 💪
Wow love your videos, the kids just have so much fun, and the cookouts are so yummy , great job guys and be safe
sharon clayton cheers mate🍺🍺
Great video guys.
Another great episode guys well done.
Thanks bud
4 weeks ago we went to the prosepine dam and it was amazing, not many back packers there at all. it was fairly packed but we still a great weekend.
Definitely would love a camp etiquette video, and hopefully it would teach or retrain some people with some good habits and to think of others around them.
I’d also love a cooking episode, some camp oven meals, easy road side meals, good camping/touring meal ideas. Even just the quick simple curry in this episode was great to see, and the pulled pork. 👌
Cape wise, the basics needed to get up there so the average person doesn’t think they need to over pack for it, getting a large vehicle WITH a caravan/trailer cape ready and the low down on the “cheat tracks” getting around safely up there with a trailer or van without destroying your pride and joy or the land but STILL getting to see it all.
Great job AGAIN guys, killing it with the content 🤙
Bryan Taylor awesome, thanks for the feedback
Great video guys you guys are awesome.to watch happy birthday Bec cheers 🎂🎂🌹
joe psaila thanks man🍺
Hey guys! I have a Marvel Golden Child 21'6 in the same layout as yours so it's cool seeing the similarities and differences. We're currently planning a trip to the Cape for next year so very keen to see how you guys go. Keep up the good work.
Cool and awesome 2🙂👌🏽
I'm intrigued as to what Bec actually expected would happen when she swung out on the rope over the river! Loved the laugh of "no sympathy" from the hubby :-)
Yep I've run in to heaps of people like that while travelling
So jealous stuck in Melbourne.
But wonderful to see your lovely family trip.
thanks guys most enjoyable ~phillip island viewer
awesome Jeep Adventure...and a great choice of music...nice touch with the Menkini at the Tip also...Life's Good with a Jeep!
Glad you liked it!!
Another great episode more places for our next visit. Happy birthday Becs glad you had a nice day. We both agree about presents, when you are happy together the is the best present. Totally agree with camping etiquette same everywhere. When we saw all that rain it looked like the UK :) Keep up the banter we are same it makes life worth living. Look forward to the trips the other side of Cairns as we haven't got there yet....Take care. Roy & Cheryl (UK)
Thanks so much guys. Love your support.
Hi , I really enjoy your videos, I live in Wales UK, we’re quite used Caravanning and motorhoming in the rain here lol,
Awesome video, as usual. Hot tip, put half a cup of Greek Yoghurt in your pancakes, makes them extra fluffy n creamy. Kids look like they are loving life on the road, helps to have engaged parents. What are their top 3 things to do with great weather and also wet weather. What is your top tip for travelling to the Cape, other than taking your time. Love what you are doing and the videos are awesome
An etiquette show would be great for us novices ... ❤️♥️💕 thanks for a great compilation ... keeping is enthused while in isolation !!
Sarah Nading Thankyou
Ohhh camping etiquette for SURE!!!
Definately go to Hartley's Crocodile Adventures while you're up that way if you haven't already! Awesome place! The Croc show at 3pm is epic!
G'day Justin & Beck. My partner & I have been on the road since Jan this year, were going for the Big Lap Coddiwompling, but yet to get out of NSW. We have a 21' 6" semi off-road Roadstar so my main concern with the cape is road conditions. I don't want to rattle the crap out of the van on corrugated roads. I have heard that there are moves to seal the road all the way to the top. So have a great trip and keep dropping info on the road condition. Cheers guys.
You guys have an awesome channel. You can alway tell how authentic people are by how amazing their children are. The world needs more people like you. Good on ya! ! From your friends Mike, Carolyn and Sam from MC Ranch Overland in British Columbia Canada. Hope to share a cold one, one day cheers.
Mike Offerhaus Thankyou mate
Awesome bud!! Gave me some good tips 👌🏼
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Bec mate have a bloody good one LORD BLESS YA & i think no need to even to mention how good is your channel Cheers on that too :)
Thank you!!
That is where I grew up in Byfield and still have family there enjoy.
Bec: What day is it?
Justin: Pfftt does it matter?
Living the dream. Awesome stuff.
Yes please with the camping etiquette, so many have no idea about respect. Don’t forget to add keep TV at a minimum, so many forget how thin the caravan walls are and go to sleep with them still on. Cheers another great vid.
🍷🌈🎈 Happy Birthday Bec🍷🍷🎉🎁 Another great episode 🎈🌈🦋🌺
Paul Tabone Thankyou
Yes a video on camping edicate 👍
You will love the Cape, its a beautiful place, spent 2 weeks there, didn’t get to do all we wanted, i’m into 4wding so you may want to do things different to us.
Hope you really enjoy your time
Yes to the vid!
Top vid guys
I would love to see a camping/caravaning etiquette video as we have just bought a caravan, been camping for 30yrs though. Love your videos keep them coming.
Yes to camping etiquette!!!!
You guys are great.. Looking forward to the delivery of our van next year. C u out there...
LAKESIDE STORAGE PARK PTY LTD awesome, safe travels
100% on the camp etiquette series. Most of it's common (uncommon) sense. We were set up early like yourselves at Capricorn caves and there was only 1 other van and right on dark 5 more rolled in and proceeded to set up right next to us, even though they had their choice of like 20 sites. Hope they all enjoyed us packing up and rolling out before 7am. Along with the usual questions and lack of volume control that comes having a 5yr old.
