@ ~29 minute front door opening with wet kit was a bit disturbing as the decal was stuck to the fender and lifted?!? Otherwise nice comparison.

Is Rough Grounds vinyl any good?

Very informative video. I’m curious to know what your solution would be for going around the “Bronco” lettering on the dry install?

remove badge and reinstall after vinyl is applied.

My advice donall your customers - unless you are very confident ALWAYS do a wet I stall, the hassle and risk of a dry install is not worth it.

Any thoughts on ppf over your graphics? Wet over dry?

We prefer graphics over PPF, ...but that's to allow us to change things up. If your 100% on your graphics, you can PPF over them. Note: there may be a very thin gap/line where the PPF meets the vinyl, ...typically more so with wrap vinyl vs. thinner cast wet install vinyls.
As far as wet over dry, once the dry is installed, you're good to go.

Is the dry really worth it if you have to replace every five years? Is it relatively easy to remove?

@@hughcrunk378 Installation costs of wet kits are nearly double that of dry. It all depends on how long you're going to keep your graphics. If permanent, we would recommend paint, or the 9 year cast (wet) vinyl, but even that will expire. We prefer the dry method as it's a huge cost and time savings, and is much easier to install. The majority of our business is customization of vehicles, which typically change every couple years or so. You have options!!

@@undergroundgrfx Thanks for the info. I have no idea of costs in this area. I’m looking to get this same stripe package for my bronco so this comparison is great to me. I appreciate it.

Kits seem awful expensive for one year of life.

3M is 1 year in our zone (Houston) for horizontal surfaces for warranty claims. We typically get 3 years on horizontal and 5 years on vertical surfaces. We believe there is no better vinyl for this use than a premium wrap vinyl.
