A cool homemade kayak/surfski/waveski!

Nick and I were paddling around Panmure Basin when we spotted an unidentified kayak and decided to take a closer look at it. It was homemade, mostly in wood, and really quite amazing as you can see on the photo at the end of the clip. It was fast too despite the fact he was sitting on a chair!
Nick is paddling his Fenn Bluefin S and I am paddling an Epic V10L. We paddled from Mission Bay to Auckland Rowing Club and we were on our way back, about 27km in all.
The little shake I had after the bridge was due to a surprising strong current created by the pillar.
