Wltoys is way cheaper than Traxxas. And for the price, Traxxas is weak, too weak. For the A929, there isn't spares available from WLtoys lol, only HPI and Menmax (the other "brand" who made an Apache copy).
Yes, it is discontinued since years now. But other chinese brands have re-released it, i don't remember the name. Here : www.kingmotorrc.com/product-kme1-01b there is a seller on aliexpress who sell it. But, if you want a desert buggy, look at the losi ones, they are better.
Yes, it share many parts with HPI vorza and trophy. About the specific parts, like a-arms or chassis stiffener, they are more and more hard to find. Non, aucune pièces chez Wltoys. Les pièces Wltoys sont compatible avec HPI, mais vu qu'on ne trouve que des pièces HPI... Les pièces Wltoys sont assez solide, sauf les renforts de chassis que je trouve trop souple. Les cardans avant HPI sont aussi plus solide. La version Wltoys est bien mieux que la version Menmax mammoth.

C'est une copie de l'HPI apache aussi, ils ont même du arrêter la production je pense. Sur des modèles propre à Wltoys on trouve généralement des pièces sans problème. Je recommanderais pas forcement d'acheter l'HPI apache, deja parce qu' il n'est plus produit, donc les pièces vont être de plus en plus rare, et ensuite parce que ce chassis n'a pas eu beaucoup de succes. Un mélange de truggy et buggy qui à le nez qui pointe facilement vers le bas quand on fait des sauts. C'est vraiment un chassis particulier. Autant acheter un truggy, comme un Arrma Kraton, ou le Arrma outcast (le outcast est plus accrobatique et moins stable), bien plus fun à utiliser et assez durable aussi. Après ça depend du budget que tu as.
I got kings motor roller for $99 (shipping included)..it has a 360mm wheelbase (stretch 1/8 buugy)..that's all...it's 5mm thick...so it's a tank. Im either going to mount the SCT or corvett body on it..4076 2250KV on 19T/46T....120A. I have 4-ea of these motor/esc ( Motor $35 /ecc $25)...They're only 4S,.. I use 50C but 50 mph ish is plenty fast for me...I got an RC8 and TT bushmaster for only $99 -ea too. :-P .....It's easy to do a nitro to electric conversion... A 550 motor mount only cost $1....I have one on my MGT 4.6. They're plenty fast with good accelleration ...They all can pop wheelies on 4s i can gear it up more... I dont think the drive train can handle 6s...for too long. You can up grade them 1/8 parts are more interchange able. The CVD are the same size as my Savage..ect..There's various length dogbones/shaft..not a big deal..You just have to get familar with 1/8 size parts. The motor snapped the center CVD on my MGT..it has plenty of power.
