If you want volume without adding the water, whip your egg whites then mix them into the batter right before cooking. It'll get you light, fluffy, huge pancakes.
That will lose the fluffyness after finished cooking

I absolutely love watching your videos Chris!! I just want to say to the editing team that the audio mixing can be a bit harsh sometimes. The peaks can be intense when plates hit the counter, or silverware hits the plates, or microwave closing. It happens sometimes in the weightlifting vlogs as well with plates clanging against each other. Again, I love the content, but I wanted to put that forward as a suggestion to bring down those peaks whenever possible! Keep killing the game y’all, honored to be along for the journey

If anyone is curious about his oatmeal fun fact, he is referring to one of the four kinds of "Resistance Starches". Certain starches can change composition after being heated and cooled. It helps with glycemic control due to the fiber composition increasing (fiber is known to regulate blood glucose).
Also fun fact: Glycemic index has no significant affect on body composition or anything else for non-diabetic people.
