Whats really amazing is in watching really any of the miniature model videos on youtube but particularly this one is how deceptive the size is, in receiving my first GW models recently and I knew they were small but I really didn't realise how incredibly tiny they are, you really don't realise this when the perspective in videos like you have made, make the model appear much larger even though we can see your hands, it still tricks our brain, my brain at least. It also points out how incredibly skilled and steady handed you have to be to paint details such as these eyes on such tiny models.
Little things like this (making them eyes instead of just pustules) is not only amazingly creative it also allows you to point to specific things on your model. Just awesome, thank you!
I don’t know which one it is but it seems to me like it could be achieved by mixing a pale green (like death guard green) with a dark brown, (mourn fang brown I think is the one you’ll find in those beginners sets) maybe with a grey to make it more matte and darker (for this kind of corrections I use German Grey from Vallejo, it does wonders when mixed and it’s a nice color on its own too)
@@Mezgike thank you. Turns out I saw that whole vid like a couple weeks ago. Great work too. But waywatcher green is discontinued and expensive now. Too bad they stopped it.
Yeah it's a real shame they discontinued it. I'm yet to find a replacement for it, but there are other colours that GW do that could give similar effects. The contrast Ork Flesh colour could work for example, if diluted a bit. Haven't experimented with it though so I can't vouch for it just yet.
I wish you had stayed away from the drakenhoff, your so good at shading and it looks like the blue in the nightshade kills all the work you do on the base coat. It may just be im looking at a digital image.

Really awesome. Can't wait to try it.
Very interested in finding out what that matte green you used for the armour is. Great art, Cheers!

I tend to use Cayman green from Vallejo, it's a great Matt green paint, I'm sure he's got a video on how he paints his DG on his channel
Awesome! Could you make a tutorial painting a Death Guard model with the style that you show in this video? ^^
That video will be uploaded and live this afternoon :-)
Cant wait to see more of your work

what super thin brush are you using with doombull brown?
Windsor and newton series 7, sizes 00 and 000 for this kind of stuff. Best brushes in my opinion.
I had no idea those were eyes I thought they were pox
They’re whatever you want to interpret them as! I think they are pox or boils. But I just tried to make them different.
They make more sence as eyes I reckon
