to my health journey! My name is Katherina, and I am documenting my journey after undergoing Gastric Bypass Roux-en-Y surgery on December 22, 2022. Follow along as I share my experience and progress. From my highest weight of 356 pounds in January 2020, I've been determined to improve my health and overcome conditions like diabetes, hypothyroidism, high blood pressure, and endometriosis. As a stroke survivor, I'm committed to preventing another one. 17 years and change out. I have vomited once. There are quite a good bulk of us that actually lose our ability to vomit!

Hi Dawn! I think you're definitely right. I don't believe I can vomit either. In fact, at the beginning when I have a few instances of dumping, it was like projectile vomiting and I had no control over it. Since then, it hasn't happened again. I love hearing from people that are so far our from their journey. It gives me lots of encouragement to TRUST the process and always look ahead.
