I have the pink one, I can use A LOT but what I would recommend is to wet your hands under the sink with the gel to make it softer. I dont finger coil with it, just smooth and scrunch (if I finger coil, I would do that before the gel). It doesn't weight my hair down in any way, I have fine, mostly wavy hair. PS you're gorgeous

You do need to put more product in your hair.
I have the the same hair you do except mine is alittle bit curlier.
You would actually be amazed what your curls look like if you used more.

I’m always amazed with your end results because when you comb/brush you hair and put your gel in it looks like your hair is barely curly. But after it’s dry it’s so curly and pretty!

This is my go-to gel. It has protein in it that really helps my curls bounce up. It also isn't too heavy for my fine, medium porosity hair. It gives me hold while most other gels do not. I've tried Aussie Instant Freeze - no hold, I've tried Giovanni LA Hold - no hold and it made my hair stringy. I keep going back to the Eco Style Argon Oil gel.
That's interesting 🤔and how do you use the product? do you pair it with a leavin? do you hand curls or scrunch or just shake your hair?
Oh I'm so jealous. I cannot use any styling product with any protein at all. That eliminates just about everything. Lol.
I pair this with leave-in protein conditioner and flaxseed gel. it looks divine after the gel is on it

Use on top of your normal curl product to lock the curls in and create a cast. You can always add a few drops of water to thin out the gel. I would also recommend not combing your hair after your leave-in conditioner. Use the praying hands method to apply the gel and scrunch, scrunch, scrunch. I have fine curly 3b hair very much like yours. This method works for me. Also make sure your hair is wet enough (important!) when applying the gel. Hard hold gels really work well for me. No frizz, nice definition and good cast to scrunch out. Gel dries w/o any feel at all in my hair. And yes - use more.
I use the Olive Oil Eco gel and I have very fine hair. What I do is put it on my hair when it is still sopping wet and I also use the LUS leave in styler, OR I use a little bit on wet hands and emulsify it between my hands really well and glaze it over my hair then scrunch it for a curl refresh. I don't finger coil my hair when I use the Eco gel , but rather clump with it. Another suggestion is make sure you have enough leave in conditioner in before you go in with the Eco gel. I use the same method and it works very well for me. And agree - must have wet hair - not damp.
I had a pretty good experience with the green olive oil one. I have wavy low porosity hair. I used quite a bit more on sopping wet hair. I was a bit worried because of how thick and heavy it is, but just went all in with the same amount I normally use in other gels. My hair definitely felt a bit gloopy when styling and I was worried that I had overdone it... but it ended up so soft and no frizz!
I had curls as a child but for the longest time my hair has been really straight, but today I actually had a curl after using this gel in my hair! rethinking everything I thought I knew, so thankful I found this channel :)
I've got 2a hair and i use about a 2cm blob on each section (3 sections in total). I used the olive oil one and my hair loved it. It was the only glycerin product that worked on my hair at that time when my hair hates glycerin! I got great definition and hold and it never dried my hair out. I did use a leave in, I didn't have issues with them mixing either as Eco gel is notorious for not playjng well with other products. I finished the 8oz tub and didn't replace it because there are SO MANY products to try. I've got the flakseed gel and clear one too to try, they're waiting in the wings.

ive tried all sorts of expensive hair gels and ive always come back to this one. eco gel. so cheap too so that works out. its typically marketed for ethnic hair but i am white and have wavy hair and it does my hair wonders.
I used this gel for a long time. It ended up drying my hair little by little. I didn’t understand why my hair was so dry. Changed the gel and problem solved. Although if you do want it to work you need more product.
I was glad to see you try this item, I've had the olive oil Eco gel in my closet for many months and just looking at it, I am also afraid of it. I scrunch it in rather than raking thru, but now that I see its got glycerin in it, nah, not for me. There's too many good ones to waste a good wash day, but u did it for me, thanks!
Hello C Land. Since you have bought the product already, I think you should try it. You never know, it might work for you. And if it doesn't, at least you have made your own opinion on the matter.
Personally, after reading the comments, I think I am going to give it another try using more products. If I see a big difference, I will make an update video. If not, I will leave it at that.

add water to it it thins it out and makes it perfect also use more gel
also if u hand curl u should add the gel after! it helps sm

You did not use even close to enough. It looks thick but it's very lightweight.
Cruly-wavy long hair, mixed textures. Didn't love it but it worked ok. It does need to be applied to soaking wet hair in the shower. Also, if your hair likes protein, there isn't protein in this product, so your leave-in or curl cream should have protein in it.
Right there with you! Recently purchased this product, feel was awful and end results crazy. It’s now in the car, being returned!

CrNessata hmm ok thanks. I am really not sure what my hair needs, if it is protein sensitive or not...so I might just invest🥺and either be disappointed or lucky. If the gel doesn’t work on my hair I could still use it for my brows😂
@@salyx6687 yeah, it's worth a shot! LA Looks Sports gel is very good, maybe more affordable than the Eco gel. Just saying.
@@CadaverQT Thank you so much! I will definitely look it up. It is just that I live in Europe and many of these products have to be ordered online. However every one has something BAD AND GOOD about every Product. So far I have purchased shea moisture shampoo and conditioner line, shea enhancing smoothie, Cantu Curl Activator and DIY Flaxseed gel. Yet my curls are not POPPING. I find my hair easily weighed down so I thought I might give this a go.

The gel itself looks a bit too chemical like the gel boys at 12 year use to make spikes in their hair.

You will need to do individual curls instead of just rubbing it all over.
