- This is my first ride on my rs457 with the arrow pista exhaust and Gabro racing tune. couple of friends join in too and we did some friendly drag races to understand the gains in performance. will talk more detail about the tune and other upgrades in my next video.
Even after so much of mods, the difference is very minimal 😱

you really need forced induction to make any amount of gains, that's why turbo cars can get massive gains. Bikes and naturally aspirated engine can't push much

With the exhaust and tune, initial and mid range is much better. Top end not so much. But the tune has been designed after so much testing back in Italy keeping reliability also in mind. Tune is not just about making the bike faster. Reliability also should be considered. Is the 457 that reliable? Has anybody else tuned it?

Btw there's someone who installed an original R9 like exhuast on their 457 and it is ever so slightly louder than stock but even more soothing , personally i like smoother exausts but you should check it out too

I'll bet you, it's not the weight difference.
I hope you'll notice this if you watch the video carefully,
Don't shift too early in the second gear and you'll be a bit ahead of the guy riding a stock bike.
You'll need to rev up to the rpm where your bike achieves max power and then shift and this applies to all gears and more so to the lower gears, this does not mean you'll have to hit the rev limiter because that will cut power and you will lose time.

Weight plays a big role. I was mostly shifting at 9400 where the rs457 makes the max power and also I had set the shift light at that specific rpm. Not sure if you noticed that.

Whatt😂😂 do one thing go to any bike showroom with your friend with huge weight gap and do drag between same stock bikes you'll see a great difference.. I think farhan known better about bikes peak rpm range and your last line busted me off of laughing 😂😂

why is the 63 kg guy on the retuned bike. give the heavier guy the tuned bike. the races arent ensuring
Tried everything if you watched the complete video. The lighter guys were faster irrespective of the bike. So later I was more like trying to give my point of view from a stock bike of the 2 lighter riders riding a stock bike and tuned bike. My intention was not to race with them but give my point of view of them.
@farhankhan_rr the 1st gen ninja 400 that came to india made 49 bhp in india as we did not have euro 4/5 constraints then. Wud love to see the rs 457 race a 1st gen 49 bhp ninja 400.

I've heard they're good. But Gabro Racing is the official tuner for Aprilia back in Italy and has already tested so much, rejected so many tunes and finally has come up with this one. With the firmware updates I would be about to get the improvements too in future. He's done the R&D.
I don't want to do the R&D here. Already got a new engine 1000 kms ago. 😅

Road was closed though! And we were being extremely cautious. We used to be on intercoms/calls to give caution too each other.
It would be better if the bike is properly tuned on a dyno like what Moore Mafia does. Over 20 kg weight difference is not much of a deal.

err...Garbo racing is the official Aprilia tuning company, they have all the figures on their website, you can have check if you want too...
20 kgs of weight can make a big difference in all motorcycles big or small. In a smaller bike like the 457 it can make a bigger difference.
Gabro Racing has done his R&D. He's the official tuner from Aprilia. I don't want to take chances and blow up my engine AGAIN!
@@Raj-c1y9s If weight makes a serious deal, all the riders in MotoGP would weigh the same because the winning margin is just a few milli-seconds. Will any manufacturer accept a loss by a few milli-seconds just because his rider is just a tad heavier?
