you really need forced induction to make any amount of gains, that's why turbo cars can get massive gains. Bikes and naturally aspirated engine can't push much
With the exhaust and tune, initial and mid range is much better. Top end not so much. But the tune has been designed after so much testing back in Italy keeping reliability also in mind. Tune is not just about making the bike faster. Reliability also should be considered. Is the 457 that reliable? Has anybody else tuned it?

No, it's not the weight difference I'll bet you, it's not the weight difference. I hope you'll notice this if you watch the video carefully, Don't shift too early in the second gear and you'll be a bit ahead of the guy riding a stock bike. You'll need to rev up to the rpm where your bike achieves max power and then shift and this applies to all gears and more so to the lower gears, this does not mean you'll have to hit the rev limiter because that will cut power and you will lose time. Maybe if you need to tips, you can get in touch with me.
Weight plays a big role. I was mostly shifting at 9400 where the rs457 makes the max power and also I had set the shift light at that specific rpm. Not sure if you noticed that. With the firmware updates I would be about to get the improvements too in future. He's done the R&D. I don't want to do the R&D here. Tried everything if you watched the complete video. The lighter guys were faster irrespective of the bike. So later I was more like trying to give my point of view from a stock bike of the 2 lighter riders riding a stock bike and tuned bike. My intention was not to race with them but give my point of view of them.
@farhankhan_rr the 1st gen ninja 400 that came to india made 49 bhp in india as we did not have euro 4/5 constraints then. Wud love to see the rs 457 race a 1st gen 49 bhp ninja 400.
20 kgs of weight can make a big difference in all motorcycles big or small. In a smaller bike like the 457 it can make a bigger difference. Gabro Racing has done his R&D. He's the official tuner from Aprilia. I don't want to take chances and blow up my engine AGAIN!
@@Raj-c1y9s If weight makes a serious deal, all the riders in MotoGP would weigh the same because the winning margin is just a few milli-seconds. Will any manufacturer accept a loss by a few milli-seconds just because his rider is just a tad heavier?
