Holy shit. I'm a regular infantryman.
For those not in combat arms or even the military this is impressive, for those that do this for a living is like watching an orchestra conduct a symphony of perfect violence. These guys are next level. The amount of skill and professionalism here is top shelf.
Former 11B here as well, they move smooth and fluid. Always major respect to the 75th.
Well to be truthful you are right but if ever a conflict of high intensity like what is happening in ukraine. Yeah these guys get smoke like anyone else.
and i mean by smoke like the whole regiment.
I was in 2/75 back in the mid 90's. As a saw gunner my first live fire, my team leader made me shift fire in front of him at extreme close distances. We're talking 2 meters ahead of him as he flanked a bunker about 30-50 yards away. This blew my mind. He said, 'Id rather get shot by you than them. If you dont keep it close they'll have time to see me coming'. Extreme trust. Needless to say I didn't hit him and I got damn good on that SAW.
Respectfully I disagree... they will face casualties but good luck attacking a Ranger battalion in the defence or offense... @@TheOuskie
dude could you image trying to defend a position against a company or even a whole battalion of rangers. I was a regular infantrymen that did a bit in Afghanistan but these guys are on a whole different level.
How so?
@@nolanfrazier3482 Bratha, you can easily see it. Its poetry in motion, these dudes are perfecting warfare. Their techniques, tactics and procedures (TTPs) are very sharp and squared away. Their team cohesion is beautiful, very interconnected and effective with their actions. Every individual soldier is highly skilled at shooting and fighting. They can breach any building. They possess an insane arrange of tools and weaponry that is able to defeat a wide variety of enemy units (tanks, lavs, infantry, air, etc...) They have TACPs integrated with them to coordinate air strikes. An insane support of logistics, these foos will not run out of ammo lol. They can deploy through Air, Sea or Land. They can climb any terrain as they have mountaineering skills. They can take care of their wounds and injuries and casevac/medvac their way out. Insane gas tanks in their lungs, these foos will not get tired either. Hope that helps.
@@nolanfrazier3482what kind of stupid question is that?
@@yourmomsucksme I'd take you easy
@@nolanfrazier3482 how about you take these nuts
There will always be a few units that will never be caught off guard or not be battle ready...this is one of them. RLTW! NSDQ!

Just finished airborne school and volunteered for rasp I’m very honored and excited to have the chance to try out for this elite force
Get good at running
Good luck dude don't quit
From a Navy Corpsman, served in Afghanistan, you got this brother. Don't ever quit unless your dead!
Fuck yeah dude get after it and don’t ever give up!
Aye I ain’t do nothing that hard but I hear a lot take it one set up at a time
Awesome footage. It's very cool to finally get to see the Knight's LAMG in action with the Rangers.
I was thinking the same thing it looks like a very capable light machine gun
Still not worth the price point for conventional forces though.
Rangers and SF, totally
@@S1000rrboy idk about that, marines are upgrading the standart rifle + lmg
What’s the caliber?
That KAC LAMG is cool
Didn’t even know the Rangers used them. 2042 is real!!!
That machine gun talk has me bricked up!
Everybody loves Weapons Platoon, except Weapons Platoon.😂

So fucking true. RLTW
2:22 is the best perspective for me. Imagine being the enemy in that position. You know they're coming. But still unable to do anything. Last thing you see is a guy appearing like a magician for half a second....AND THAT IS IT.
This is what so many armchair operators fail to put into perspective when they’re criticizing with their Cheetos stained fingers.
Fun fact, in Poland Agat Military Unit was formed and modeled after 75 ranger regiment
Several units worldwide have been modeled after these guys. Very versatile unit structure
An elite light infantry unit that can also do special operations I can see why
I became a Ranger 53 years ago. None of what you see here existed then. We had the school and the Vietnam War. The skills you learn as a Ranger will be with you for a lifetime.
I was taught a lot by an old ranger sniper before i went to basic for the air force. That teaching that he gave me and the mindset he had me in had me far above the typical airmen. I don’t act or think like an airman and it’s frustrating sometimes to see how soft most military people are.
Thanks for your service. Rangers are whole breed above the others for sure.
@@thegrayjedi5202 There are lots of good military members. My class started with a few over 400 men. Some quit immediately, some hung until the end. I wont say we are better than anyone else, but we have proven we can endure hardship and will not quit. We do develop confidence in ourselves. Perhaps above all else is sincere love of country, and for one another on the battlefield. We will not abandon a comrade. We prefer to take the fight to the enemy and make them pay in blood. Frankly, that is why we have Rangers.
Other folks have their own specialties or niches. I am content with my service and glad to learn you picked up a few things. First and foremost, you are in uniform to fight. Remember that when it hits the fan.
❤
Just want to let you know that American warfighters stand on the shoulders of giants like yourself.
Training SOPs and methodology, military doctrine and the overall progression of excellence stems from those before.
Thank you for your service and sacrifice.
43 years for me at first Ranger Battalion. We invented a lot of these tactics after. The failure in Iran.
For anyone who doesn't know much about military units or what the difference is, these guys are the cream of the crop when it comes to rapidly-deployable, ELITE infantry.
People hear a lot about the 82nd Airborne Division, and they definitely have studs there. But the joke in many Army circles is that the 82nd is just Ranger Regiment and SF drop-outs.
Rangers are also considered Special Operations Forces, so they aren't constrained by any of the day-to-day administrative and bureaucratic red tape that large conventional units are. Not to mention that they have a blank check for funding.
I'm active duty airborne infantry. I've worked a few times with Rangers. I like to think I'm in pretty good condition and shape, but US Army Rangers are a whole different class. These guys have one speed, and that is SPRINT. They're going at 100% if not higher at all times, and they never slow down. I cannot stress enough how terrifying these guys are because of that single characteristic.
Couple that with the fact that these guys live and breathe only two things-physical training, and technique-and it's no wonder that they're the best out there.
Just to put it in perspective... When these units like SEAL Team 6 (DEVGRU) or Special Forces or Delta Force ever get into trouble... They call up Army Ranger Quick Reaction Forces (QRF).
Just as an aside, we could have ended the War in Afghanistan in December 2001. By this point, we had routed the Taliban and AQ leadership from the entire coutry with just CIA and a handful of Army Special Forces. Nearly every province was under US/Northern Alliance control. During the Battle of Tora Bora, GEN Franks elected NOT to deploy Rangers into the mountains to cut off bin Laden's escape into Pakistan because he feared the possibility of mass casualties in the unknown terrain just as the Soviets had suffered against the mujahideen 2 decades earlier. We could have caught/killed bin Laden in December 2001 and dipped out of the country with potentially a dozen Rangers killed, if that. Instead, we got a 20-year war, thousands of Soldiers and Rangers and Marines, SEALs, etc. dead, with little to show for it.
I promise you, so long as we have Rangers and other SOF units, we will never lose a war tactically. Politically, however, is a different story.
When I served with the South Korean Special Forces, I trained alongside them. Their pride and training readiness were excellent. They were truly remarkable members.

When seals get lost they send the rangers to rescue them. Marine here served with a few and as a contractor overseas. Finest gentleman I’ve ever met.
My deceased grandparents place is about a 15 minute drive from Johnson's live fire range off of Highway 118. I was up there around that time and definitely heard a lot of this and artillery shelling.

Rangers are like marines except they get the best equipment, are smarter, more skilled, and basically everything a marine isn't!
