Times have changed! When I was in 2nd Battalion 1979/82, we just had a tiny crappy universal weight machine, like the ones you see in a Motel 6 gym, some pull up bars, a hand-to-hand combat pit. All we did is run and we ran a lot, along with thousands of push-ups.! Hooah young Rangers! Drive on!
Great video! Loved seeing the modern day Rangers. Was a 2/75 Ranger from 92-96...in the days of Ranger Panty running shorts and Ranger high-n-tights lol. Regiment changed my life. One common thread over the years ... The Regiment develops a strong mindset & mental toughness.

Fort Benning BCT turned me into a young man😂. OMG that last ruck in the pitch black walking up the Stairway to heaven seemed never ending! Loved and hated it but it gave me drive and discipline
I was wondering what and where the hell Ft. Moore was. Is that what they call Benning now? I was B Co. 1/38 and never heard it called that before. Ridiculous.
Obviously without stepping into the problem of OpSec, but I would love to see you guys tag along with one of the Battalions for a live fire or larger maneuver exercise to get a feel for how the tenets you preach mesh into the actual execution piece of the mission.
Officially it’s not anymore. But in many minds it’s still fort Benning where they created so many memories and history. An interesting mindset is to remember the only constant in this world is change. How we move and adapt to change defines us all.
I heard about you guys through Men in the Arena. At first it sounded a lot like Mountain Tactical Institute. I’ve done some of their programming and love what they produce. I’m glad there are more mission (for lack of a better word) focused fitness organizations out there. What is the biggest difference in MTNTOUGH and MTI? I apologize if you have answered this elsewhere previously.
Hey there! We are not super familiar with them but at quick glance we likely have similar training philosophies. They look legit. This is a just from a quick look so don't take it as fact as we did not dig in deeply but it appears we have more programs focused on Backcountry Hunting and they seem to have more programs for Tactical athletes. Maybe we should collab with them....could be good knowledge sharing opportunities.
