I have that lens for About 1 year , and I love it , I’m a event photographer (wedding & quinceañeras ) this lens in on my camera 97% most of the time, All I need is RF 100 mm for macro shoots and Few portraits, and a RF 70 200 ,
From an artistic perspective, each lens has its own distinctive character, and the choice of lens should be dictated by the nature of the project and the vision of the cinematographer. It's essential to remember that the gear doesn't define the art, but the artist using the gear does. The lens is just a tool in the toolbox of the cinematographer, and the best tool is the one that helps you realize your vision most effectively
Im a photographer for a fire department. The weight of a lens is the least of my issues! My helmet weighs like 12 pounds😂
😂 that’s awesome brother. I was a firefighter/paramedic for 7 years. Heavy gear was the norm after all those years, my back reminds me every day!
@@zackchavisfilmsno way! Then Im preaching to the choir😂. I just bought a 70-200 so looks like ill be waiting on this…
Thanks for the succinct review. I think the performance of the lens will outweigh the size and weight. I love it.
Agreed! And absolutely, thank you for watching we really appreciate it!

Hey Carlos, that’s awesome my friend! The RF 70-200 will definitely be next on my list for sports 🙏🏽
Great review, just purchased this ^_____^
I own one it is a great lens. This lens is definitely worth the money. My negative is the cost of the filters.
Just snagged one on sale for $2,599 from Canon. Great lens!
I thought most wedding photographers considered the RF 24-70 F2.8 L a better wedding lens.
I'm waiting for FedEx to drop mine off today!!!!!
I do wonder sort of sitting on the fence, really do you guys never miss a 16mm in your arsenal
Thanks for the nice video
No problem my friend, glad you enjoyed it!
