Your color choices are wonderful. For a subject this complicated, using a ready-made drawing seems like a great choice. I'm looking forward to watching this through. It's very motivating to see how the placement of color ends up making such three-dimensional effects. Thank you also for showing how one can work around limitations and still find a way to make art. Feel better soon!
Thank you so much, Katharine! I appreciate your kindness and feedback about the tutorial. I'd love to see how your painting turns out!
Samantha, I feel so fortunate to have found your channel this morning for the very first time! I am really enjoying your very positive outlook in light of your misfortunate injury and it's resulting challenges as you continue to heal.
As a 66 year old lady who has 2 hip replacements, a steel rod, metal frame and many screws in my dominant wrist and 2 very serious cervical and thoracic spinal fusions, I too have faced some uphill battles as I recovered from these mishaps.
I found that my return to my lifelong passion for anything art brought me to becoming a newbie to the wonderful world of watercolor. I must say that any time I put my pen, pencil or paintbrush to paper, somehow my aches and pains magically take a backseat.
You are a wonderful teacher and I see that you are just beginning to build your subscribers. I am very pleased to be one of your newest and wish you the very best as you continue to grow. I have no doubts that you certainly will as your artwork is beautiful and your teaching techniques are above and beyond the many, many others I have seen here on YT.
Best wishes!!👩🦳🖌️👍
By the way, we are both lefties! And I always find it so much easier to follow another leftie😂
LORD JESUS, please heal her elbow and take all pain away from this wonderful teacher❤
