@@samanthakstudio 🤗 Am planning to follow your instruction with my Mam (90 years old). She is not keen on doi g a weekly class any more as lots of her friends are no longer going. So we will work together. I think your style and instruction will make very enjoyable learning for us! God bless all. G Ireland
Sorry to hear your burn out. Glad I found this video. I really like how you explain what is going on in the background verses just a quick show. As in giving more context. Thank you.
So happy to have found your channel. Love your teaching style.
Thank you, Nancy! I appreciate your kindness
This is my 1st time seeing you and wow! You are a very talented artist and excellent teacher. Thank you!
Thank you, Lisa! I appreciate your kind words
Such an airy piece! Beautiful :-) I like the yellow highlights on the petals. It gives the feel of the sunlight shining through them. Thank you!
You are an amazing teacher! You explain the how and the why of every step and technique. As a beginner, I have watched many tutorials and yours are the best. Thank you!
Hi Michelle,
Wow, thank you so much! I appreciate your feedback!
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I have never seen the technique to use water to create hard drying lines on purpose! I've worked really hard to learn how to NOT create drying lines, and now I see how I can use it to benefit. Thank you for the beautiful effect!
Thank you, glad it was helpful!
I love both your painting and teaching style. Thank you for creating this easy to follow and beautiful tutorial. I’m glad your elbow is ok now. ❤
Thank you, Jenn! I appreciate your kindness, and I'm happy you enjoyed the tutorial!
Beautiful work. Thank you for so many tips and valuable lessons!
Thanks so much, Nereida! I'm glad you like the tutorial, and I appreciate your time.
I loved this painting and valued your personal story. i totally understand the BURN OUT, and how sometimes the worst thing can make you stop and see the great things. Resting is really important to refocus. I loved the way you explain so easily what you do and how you kept to just a few colours but blended the others through them. So simple but so valuable. I really appreciate it all.. Love your gentle sweet voice too. Thanks for your generosity of your skills. Beautiful teaching and work.
Wow! Unless this is a new Canson XL product, you did it justice. I've had happy successes on this (pulp?) paper, but the constant need to re-wet is frustrating. This is an economical paper to begin on, but once you've treated yourself to cotton rag, watching the colours blossom before you is like seeing the Northern Lights for the first time.
What a wonderful tutorial. Thanks so much.
About three years ago I shattered my elbow in 12 places. I have a plate, screws and cement holding it together. It did take a long time to heal and achieve mostly working fingers. It is a lot to go through and I love how you looked at it positively. My arm will never be straight again, but after lots of therapy I am able to paint. I love your video and very clear teaching style. Your painting is beautiful and I look forward to seeing more videos from you in the future.
Hi Sandee, thanks for sharing your story! Recovery is slow and painful, but I'm so happy you can work through your injury to make art. I'm working on more art videos about adapting to long-term injuries. I would love your insight if you're willing to share some of your techniques. Happy painting!
Loved this tutorial. Thanks Samanta

Il vero acquerello. Grazie.😊
Beautiful! Wondering if you worked from a reference photo.
I am curious to know how to flattened the paper after it’s dry. Mind is not as cute as yours 😅
I feel like a 54 years old kid now. That was a lot of fun. Thank you.
Hi Sara, thank you so much! I'm certain you did an amazing job with your design. Watercolor is tricky, so please do not be hard on yourself! It took me several tries to get the design that I wanted. I am also recording a video about paper flattening tips/tricks next week. Feel free to write with any other requests. Thank you, Sam

Silly Question: is the lager closed poppy on your left or right side? Hope you feel better each day!🎉
Aww, thank you! Yes, I'm getting stronger each day. I did not mirror the poppy design. However, you can change up the composition however you'd like. I hope that answers your question.
