The eighteenth boss of Legend of Legaia, Cort. He is fought in the Absolute Fortress after he ambushes the heroes in front of the Mist Generator.

That ending with "love you" ws simply beautiful
My favorite boss in the game. The music is so strangely calm, and yet so intense. It really makes it feel like this is what the game was building up to the entire time
Then they fuck it up with the fourth act.

@@loaddropper7772 If you hate the characters. The fourth act causee me to have two "adult nightmares" during my second playthrough. Those are dreams where you wake up feeling really sasld, and can shake it off for the whole day. I don't play video games for that.
This game was perfect. The soundtrack was ahead of its time too..if only there was a remake.
Its gameplay was also ahead of its time. This needs at least a remaster very badly...
Touch up the audio and graphics wit 60 fps and this would be fire

There is someone actually working on a remake they've made excellent progress he even showed pictures of the character models, town model and is planning on making an available demo. Let's just hope they keep it up because it does look pretty promising.

Sadly after the downgrade sequel Legaia 2 Duel Saga, the developers lost internet to this game series
This game was fucking difficult. The enemies hit really hard later in the game.
If they remake this game with the same story, same gameplay, same music but improved graphics I might finally buy a game console again. Haven't bought a game console since the Xbox 360.

So does Gala with Songi. Sad that Vahn does not really have a personal connection with any bosses while Noa and Gala had one.

A silent protagonist can go barely go that far when it comes to emotional connection to anybody really, except for Crono, he's the best silent protagonist ever

Played this a couple months ago, though I did so on an emulator to speed things up. Game absolutely still holds up. It has an atmosphere that no other game has even come close to replicating.
If only I could. Only available in ps1

I played this game when I was around 10 years old or so (I'm 30 now). Brings back the good times, quite nostalgic if I may say. Oh and one more thing - so that's what a FURY BOOST does. I haven't used any of those! 😅😅😅

Fury boost extends the d-pad slot for arts permanently until you die(or some turns, not sure) and gain some AP, so you are not dependent on spirit up to extend your arts slot. But you need to spirit up again for AP boost and defensive purposes.
Back then all i know for item is healing, magic and all item for cure abnormal status..
Fury boost, wonder elixir, etc.. I don't, really know what is this item use to
Explosive fist.. Being a 10 years old and seeing and playing this, simply unbeatable

Player is lucky that cort still didn't summon juggernaut when his shield was broken. In my experience, the moment his shield was destroyed (1/2 of hp) he immediately cast deadly juggernaut

Mushura and Theeder can cause good damage against Cort's shield!
Good call! The immobility of Cort in his shield allows Mushura and Theeder to hit many more times than they would normally be able. Unfortunately, all magic damage is halved in the shield phase, so these spells aren't as broken as they could have been.
@@trance1215 Those spells having secret early game multihit do be making them pretty badass though...^_^
I usually lvl up mushura and destroy the barrier on the second turn. Then use Barra and kemaro to burn him after

ah yes the evil seru magic as soon as he drops. just dont drop him and forget to heal. doing this at a lower lvl was a pain
I’ve gotta say, I was infuriated by the decision to just keep healing Noa every turn after Cort used the Juggernaut summoning and KO’ed Vahn and Gala. Fun battle though, this one drove me nuts as a kid.
What else can you do? I think that’s the only move that’ll win the battle.

Back when i was playing this game, the moment you shattered Cort's shield he will use Evil Seru Magic..and he uses it every 5-6 turns in his second form

The shield makes it so he can only be damaged by Mystic arts.

Just beat the game today with a level 38-39 party, was surprised at how easy this boss was, all I did was spam points card, miracle arts, and each characters strongest seru magic

Also if u get to level 99 u get juggernaut to use just saying but getting to level 99 is a bitch spent 3 years straight 8 hours a day on it and also I recommend anyone still playing to farm after they reach the old man at tower and before they battle the 3 siblings also check out legaia ps2

It's been so long since I played this Game, I forgot Noa & Cort were even related. So, if they're related, shouldn't they be on the same side. Also, wasn't Noa raised by a Ra-Seru or whatever her Partner was called? And that Partner resided in a Wolf? Wiwrd Sci-Fi logic in how She learned to speak.
They are siblings but weren't raised together and didn't even know each other. They are fighting each other because Cort was corrupted by Rogue and enabled by his parents.

Most likely used an emulator and then used an editing program
His screen resolution is in HD, not the game. Even in 1080p you still see the game in the lower resolution.
I increase the resolution with an emulator and use a shader that makes the colors more vibrant. The boss fights I uploaded were extracted from my playthrough of the game and uploaded at a much lower bitrate, so it's not quite as HD as my full walkthrough videos.

Legaia Wiki he’s just a shallow critic. People do low level runs in games all the time. It doesn’t take skill to be over leveled. It takes skill to beat that fucker at lvl 1.
