I am 3 weeks post stem cell injections for a partial full thickness supraspinatus and partial labrum tear of the shoulder. The pain i felt for the past 8 months is gone. But i still feel a bit of instability. It may simply be to soon to tell just how much more it will heal, but my goal is to get back to bodybuilding as soon as i can.
But the fact that the pain is gone is a win in itself and i would def recommend.

very helpful thank you. Quick question i have frozen shoulder caused by a fall, bit the upper arm is just as painful as the shoulder itself and the arm feels internally bruised.. is it fair to say the frozen shoulder does/can extend to the function of the upper arm?

Possible future vid response: I had an acromioplasty with distal clavicle resection-deltoid off procedure. 2 titanium pins were put in, which had to come out about 2 years later because of pain. At that time I also had a tear in my delt repaired (wasn't there before). A few years ago, I went back in because of pain in same area. I had an mri with contrast done and was found to have a small full thickness tear in same shoulder . I did not have that fixed because it was small, but am now having issues again. I was told the initial surgery (acromioplasty, resection, deltoid off) was pretty rare. Also, I did not have an injury, I had an os acromiole. My question is does having an os acriomiole cause that shoulder to be at further risk for incidences like mine? I just live with the pain from the tear because it's bearable (I guess), just not pleasant. With that said, the pain now travels up my neck at times and gets substantially uncomfortable in the trap area (probably overcompensating cuz of shoulder pain), but I don't want to risk yet more problems if it gets fiddled with again, as the tear in the delt and the other tear happened after the initial surgery.

For a hip labral tear u think it would be smart to use peptides such as BPC 157 speed a recovery. I am shadowing an ortho surgeon rn and he mentioned that it could potentially help. My personal opinion is that I think it may speed it up maybe to less time out from injury maybe by a couple of months. What do you think doc?

I was splinted for 12 weeks then splint went off and didnt need to wear it again. After splint was off for 2-3 days i began to know that the finger was droopy. The therapist checked out my mallet finger and tells me i have a 8 degree lag but then says my tendon is healed enough to begin finger exercises. He says my finger in the joint is stiff because of splinting in that position for very long time. But my finger when coming out of the splint was completely straight. But when i try to straighten it i am unable to straighten the fingertip does this mean my finger didnt healed properly? Or is it due to stiffness of DIPJ thst is preventing me from straightening it??? He also says dont be afraid to move and try best to bend or get it in a fist and that my bones will break first before my tendon will. 😂 Im just worried i dint have active extension on the tip of my index finger.
