Shadow systems is turning into the Apple of guns. The minute you get your hands on the Gen3 they announce Gen4.
@@MrHarrilasagna how? Because they make different variations of the same gun?? It’s all based on the gen3 Glocks. Nothing internally has changed since the MR918.

Good video... I'm hoping and praying that you guys come out with a longer barrel version of this such as an equivalent to the Glock 48 MOS.
I like that you even gave a sku/UPC for the foundation with a tritium front. I prefer no holes, and I switch triggers anyway. Just waiting for the Foundations to drop a bit below MSRP. I LOVE my CR920P.
That's what I liked too. I found a Foundation with 3 tritium sights. I didn't know that SS even made them like that and didn't realize that would be the case until it came in from Kygunco.
@@dmarr4941 Weird. Yeah, I had no idea SS offered a tritium rear. With optics, I tend to just want the front tritium...but without an optic, I'd kinda like the 3-dots.

Love mine. Couple miss feeds in the 1st 75 rounds break in period. I’m at about 205 now with no malfunction.

My wife bought cr920p not that long ago and has nothing but giving her problems , every single type of ammo . From jamming to having problems extracting the case to hating all my favorite hallow points I want her to carry . My wife contacted your customer service department and they informed her that for them to take look at her gun she needs a license to carry . Now she has gun that doesn't work correctly and she put way over 500 rounds , every single time jam jam jam. By the way she used federal 124g fmj .

Are you sure there’s not a misunderstanding about the license to carry? I just sent my CR 920X to be looked at and it never even came up.
Yes and even ask her to ask again to make sure . The defense ammo that she tried , is Winchester pdx ponded hallow point 124 grain and 147 grain , liberty civil defense, and federal hst . That gun like none . I told her she's better off taking the full magazine out and throwing it at a threat than trying shoot to protect her life . At least she might be able knock out tooth out or take eye out . That might give time to scream and look for help than hoping that the gun would go bang . It sucks because of the price point
I feel it's like my sig and glock is millennial and the cr920p is like gen z , very picky for everything, just hope it doesn't later I identify as a taser
Yes it jams with everyone that has tried it . Even range officer was like "damn looks nice but won't bet my life on it .

Love my MR920. Can you please make a Shadow Systems version on the G48 (full dust cover) where the slide and barrel are ported similar to the new Hellcat pro comp?
how where you able to slide the top back after loading the mag? every time i do that on my CR920X the bullet jams

I wish they could have a bit more to the grip modules. Maybe one that is 1911 or HK angle

I held this in my LGS the other day, and I just have such a hard time with these thin frame guns. What would likely change my mind is if this came in a P version, then I think I would learn to deal with it.
Still getting a few FTF every magazine or so with over 350 rounds in. Maybe it’s the 115g ammo? What’s recommended 124g? Had to change out the trigger shoe on mine, stock one destroyed my finger. All in all I want to love this gun, but I’m not 100% sold on it.

Honestly curious Trevor if you would recommend this as a first gun to a new shooter. I've held slimmer profile guns and with smaller hands they just feel better. I've held an mr920 and it felt great, Just imagining this one to feel even more comfortable. But I understand that it's about a half inch shorter barrel so it'll be snappier.

Does the CR920X support the Trijicon RMRcc or no?
Here in Dirty Jersey, governed by Philth Murphy, 10 round maximum. For us here to buy, we either have to pay additional money to have original mags pinned at 10 round maximum or forfeit the mags to the seller or the Dirty Jersey FFL. Why not produce the MPN suffix "DJ" for the 10 round mag version? I can only have ten rounds in my XR920 Elite.

I have 3 Shadow Systems and even wear a Shadow Systems T-shirt. I wish there was a model with a manual safety. I have gotten comfortable with my C2 and SFX9, both fun guns. I really like Shadow Systems but won’t carry a gun anymore without a manual safety. Just me I know -99.99% of folks are good with it.

Why does my mr 920 have such a mushy trigger break? Worst thing about the gun is the sub par trigger for a Glock type pistol.

Any truth that the new SS mags are different and solve the problems a lot of folks are having with FTF? All I have are the black mags and after 400 rounds, I’m still having unacceptable failures to feed.

I have a CR920p I was thinking of buying a foundation CR920x and to switch it over is there any problems with that?
Since you already have the CR920P just get the foundation CR920X and swap over the slide so you can make a CR920XP you shouldn’t have no problems. It’s the same gun just different in the grip.
I called Shadow Systems to ask and they said no problem with doing that. The frames are all the same internals the only difference is the grip length.

Trevor, 1st, you need to send me one. I prefer the Elite w/ bronze bbl. The XR920 was the leader but the CR920X makes more since for me now.
I set up South's Outpost as a dealer when I was the manager and I never could decide which model I wanted until now.
I am now a retired cop and retired from South's Outpost and now you have you have finally introduced the pistol that makes the most since for me at the present time .

We know you need to make your money on the X , but come on and rake in the money with the XP.
