I have never ridden a bike soo fast soo easy!!! I was taking high speed turns telepathically!!! This ZX-10-RR is my fastest and most favorite sport bike in my 35- years of riding them!!!!
I'm glad Chris got the blipper issue figured out, and explained it so everyone knows. Been tons of guys unhappy with their ZX10R's up here in Canada, using various tunes, which all make the QS/Blipper VIOLENT!
Appreciate the content! It’s nice to see and watch the whole process in what goes into maxing out horse power. I know for me, the on off throttle sux and probably would have went that route. Look forward to an update and any feed back on how it performs!
I still street ride a ton and love blasting country back roads with the Boyz. That smooth blipper has proven to be super important to the enjoyment of my bikes on and off the track. I’m glad I kept it smooth. It’s still like butter. I’m just grateful that Chris was able to explain in detail my options. Most guys who flash is, he is just do it one way and don’t care about the customer he really does, though it was an experience worth every penny. I highly recommend getting your bike, Dyno, tuned and flashed by Chris Moore.
Its awsome after a tune..I got the kit for mine and just messed with fuel/air and saw a huge diff..Never fiddled with timeing at all..Even down low it pulls like a freight train..
I’m super happy with his tune. Chris did a really good job. He’s super thorough and he took his time to get a ride. Not to mention my auto blipper is smooth as butter. ❤️
Nice video, similar numbers i got with mine, i have a highflow airfilter though. The bike is an absolute monster after flash, scared the crap out of me the first couple of days haha. You'll love it, congrats !
That was awesome! Chris’s Moore was superbly knowledgeable and informative. Was I mistaken in thinking that he only put the ZX in fifth during the tests? I have never seen such a marked improvement in output for a machine! Congratulations 👏 😮👍👌👏
That blipper issue with this bike sucks, there was one tuner that was saying they worked out how to fix blipper problem with some particular settings or something on this bike, can't remember who it was, but it was a youtube video from one of the known tuners, if I work it out I will update this comment.
Chris explains it. The guy was just turning off the Decel feature. My bike is smooth as butter and it's still scary powerful. I just turned down the engine breaking and it works perfectly.
@@CK_RIDES You might be right, I get what Chris explained in the video, but fwiw the impression I got watching this other video was a proper solution had been found. Anyway glad you're enjoying the new bike, be cool to see some more POV riding videos.
1st visit to the channel #good stuff. I do feel bad for such a special bike being relegated to beach cruising. Went to bike week once and realized there was nowhere to really ride in Florida.
I love up and downshift without using clutch,i dont want to use my clutch while down shift, im sending ecu to chis soon ,any thing i have to mention to chis ?
Your so lucky bro. Here in Malaysia we only have the zx10r krt version. I've been saving my money for the RR version. I ask the dealer he says next year the RR version will came. But it's limited since our country doesn't take much interest on Motorcycle. The last RR version was owned by a guy I knew. He had the 2019. The gen 6 didn't came. All Kawasaki fans were forced to buy the krt version
The ZX 10 RKRT edition is not bad, but I can tell you this from personal experience ZX 10 RR is a very very special engine. It actually feels like a completely different bike in the ZX 10 even though they share the same badge name +1 R.
Great video. A few questions: 1. How long did you wait to get your bike in to Chris from the day you set an appointment to the day it was tuned? 2. How long did it take Chris to tune the bike from the minute you rolled the bike onto the dyno and first strap in to mission complete? 3. Is he using Woolich Racing Software to tune? And if yes, when Chris speaks of the Deceleration Fuel Cut to eliminate the on/off throttle jerkiness, is he CHECKING or UNCHECKING the DISABLE DECELERATION FUEL CUT box? Mine is currently CHECKED. After seeing this specific video, I am sure I want Chris tweaking the tune on my bike. Thank you in advance!!
I set the appt on Monday and I was told be there at 9:30am on Thursday after I paid on the phone. Chris took almost 2 hours on my bike. He was EXTREMELY thorough. He used Woolich and I asked him to keep my quick shifter on the STOCK MAP. If you don’t the QS goes to shit and the downshifts are unbearable diving into turns on the track. I hope this helps.
The way deal with that if you don’t have to. My bike has all the power I need and it still shifts. Super smooth with a Quik shifter best of both worlds.
If I had a used tire on it vs the Rossi Cross's Chris said I'd be at 199 WHP and 216 CHP. There was definitely slippage on the Dyno. With a new filter yes. 1-2 HP increase easy.
So I'm going up there next month, i heard that the 02 sensor was gonna need to be unplugged. Is that true? Trying to prepare my zx10r to take it up there.
It does not have the VAI. If it did it would require a new RACE ECU which would only be good for a pure 100% track bike using race fuel only. That’s why I bought the 2023 and opted not to to wait for the 2024.
I had earplugs in and it sounded like I had nothing in my ears. Whenever you got up to the 14,000 RPM range it was deafening I love the YOSHI AT2 on a Kawasaki ZX 10 RR amazing
The only thing that I can do to improve, that number would be to change out my air filter, which is still stock, and to put on a lighter chain but other than that I’m extremely pleased with the outcome. Chris Moore is the real deal.
I'm surprised. I was expecting a higher redline for the RR and improved performance from the engine parts. It's basically the same as a regular flashed ZX-10R horsepower and torque-wise.
Not exactly brother I had a new tire on there. If I had a used tire on there, the Dino would’ve been at 199 to 200 wheel horsepower and 230 at the crank up. Chris said that for a bike coming in with only 14 miles not broken in the bike perform very well, especially with the heat and humidity that we had during the dino tune
@@CK_RIDES you may want to watch Chris other videos dynoing the R model's. They all make more than 192 on his dyno with the stock tires. The RR model in street trim actually makes less than a R model. Same thing on the dyno I used with my R model, my R and other R's made more power than a RR model with similiar mods. Simply put the RR is not a street bike and was produced for race teams that make engine changes to utilize the better internal parts. If you're not doing that then its basically an overpriced slower version of the base model.
There's no point to rev the bike higher than the R model because it doesn't make any more power like you would think it should with those engine internals. It actually makes less power than the R but it may do it in less time due to the lighter rotating assembly allowing it to spin up a bit faster.
