You're 100% right about complacency being deadly. Preparing for hurricanes or typhoons was to be a lifestyle, not something to consider when a storm is already coming at you. I lived on Okinawa for 5 years and we had some amazing typhoons while I was there.

During Katrina in Mississippi the storm surge went over a mile inland. Use this as a reminder that you don’t want to experience it. I have lived in Louisiana for the last fifty years once storms get over one hundred miles per hour the storm’s surge in more than ten feet above normal sea level.

Seems like it's going to be a pretty bad hurricane in Tampa, Florida where I'm located. I love hurricane 🌀 but I pray it's not too bad. Iam worried about all the trees throughout my entire apartment complex, alot. & these apartments I live in have alot of glass windows. Not as strong as some houses, etc may be. Definitely could be wiped out pretty easily if too much wind. I do like the hurricanes but omg I hope it's not a complete direct hit.

      No you didn't.
Hurricanes are amazing and are a reminder of how powerful nature can be and how small humans really are on this blue marble.
Yes, they can be destructive and deadly, but beautiful in it's own way.
But, we depend on these storms to replenish the aquifer and lakes every year.
They shouldn't be feared. They should be respected and prepared for year round.
I live an hour north of Tampa and my lake might finally reach full pool with this storm, which will make it easier for little boats like mine to get out there again a go fishing.
Living under 15 feet of elevation is just asking the next storm to take everything from you, but I've survived it by the grace of God.
Prayers for everyone and hold onto your shorts because this one could be a record breaker.

Have we crossed the point of no return in terms of damaging the planet? There is no such point. We need to trust that our thought, which is our greatest quality, can change nature. We only need to understand the direction to which we should aim our thoughts. What should we think about? What condition or state should we aspire to and ask for?
In order to save our planet, we should think about positive human connections. That is, how can we, in our connections, keep nature safe? How can we all together protect our world? If we truly wish to better our planet, then we should see people holding a concern for how to positively connect everywhere that we look.
It has nothing to do with recycling or other activities that we commonly associate with as being sustainable. If we come closer to and consider each other, that we will reach an entirely organic, perfectly connected and round state, then the negative forces will disappear from the world.
We need to understand that if we start thinking better about each other, then the planet will recover from all harm, because our thoughts are the strongest force in nature. Likewise, our negative thoughts about each other are entirely to blame for damaging the planet. That is why the more we recycle and invest in energies and activities that we commonly think of as being sustainable, the worse our planet becomes. Nothing will work to benefit us until we reach a state where our attitude changes toward each other for the better to protect and improve our planet..

  • @jesusstattreligionenu.esoterik

    It becomes biblical.
Jesus Christ is coming again very soon to rapture his church. Then the Antichrist comes onto the world stage with his illusion of peace and with him hell on earth. Unfortunately, too many people will fall for it.
Read Revelation and the Gospel of John.
Jesus Christ is God. Turn back to him. Ask forgiveness of your sins. Believe in the gospel.
Religions do not come from God.
In Jesus Christ alone we have salvation and salvation.
