I was just sitting here questioning why I’m wearing niqab and am I strong enough to keep wearing it after 4 years and then I see your new videos! You really inspire me to keep strong and keep it on for the sake of Allah. It is such a hard thing for me, but I know I’ll regret removing it and facing others admitting defeat by my own nafs. Allah bless you sister, you are helping us and you don’t even know it!

I’ve seen this behavior too on social media of people overreacting to ruling when we as normal people who are not scholars of Islam, really don’t have complete knowledge of most things but they speak sooo sure of themselves and even begin insulting. I saw someone comment that it is not halal for women to see other women partly undressed, I don’t remember the exact context, and people went mad telling them that it’s 100% false, when there are some opinions that you should even wear hijab in front of non Muslim women. Even if they don’t follow that opinion they should not be insulting and rude but people grow up with one belief and can’t fathom that there are other opinions or possibilities in the matter
Salam! I am also a fellow niqabi alhamdulilah. I agree with your point that we should disagree with respect. but the one you mentioned is an awful example because it contradicts the quran and the sunnah because women will never need a hijab in front of other women.

Baraku an Allāhu fiki. Sunnah style sell Niqaabs that wrap around the shoulder then closed with concealed buttons in the back, and they are long reaching near bellybutton. They’re called snap niqab I believe-perfect for Summer. And in winter try finding oversized coats(I found one after a long while and bought two).
Ironing your clothes is allowed as being neat and clean is not haram.

Wa alaikum assalam, I would assume that you read the source you sent me, and then you would know that it does not clearly state what you have claimed in the video, that it is haram to show any sign of your shoulder shape. As it’s even states in the source you sent me from the Quran, what appears out of necessity is permissible. Please sister, read the source you sent me well, and be careful claim that something is haram when there is no reliable source to support it. May Allah guide us all, amin

According to the scholars the wording used in Surah Al-Ahzab where Allah talks about jilbab has the word (a3la=over) which they say means that the jilbab starts from the head down concealing the whole body(shape). I cant confirm (on the top of my head) if it is unanomous agreement that shoulders should never show but it is the safer route and Allah knows best.

@@niqabinextdoor1954 no my sister the word is khimar, the root of the word means to cover and mainly the head, the Arabs even use it to describe other situations like covering the head with alcohol to mean that the person has lost their mind/sense
@@koam2410 the word used in the specific ayah is Jilbab, I’m sure this is what she was referring to
(33:59) يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ قُل لِّأَزْوَٰجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَآءِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُدْنِينَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِن جَلَـٰبِيبِهِنَّ ۚ
@@Zzucia It is actually verse 31 of Surah 24, which highlights that the veil starts from the head and covers the rest. I intervened because the explanation seemed to be more suited to the khimar, and I thought she was mistaken. However, it is also true that the word "jilbab" can also signify that if we examine what "jilbab" refers to in the hadiths. Allah is the greatest knower.
