Shan Gupta Oh my, I have forgotten this comment haha, but I think I'm okay. I mean, I stoped playing cello because I started university the last year. But I hope can do it again soon :~)
+Cezar Alexandru I'm not sure what you mean, but it is also called the cello. If you still disagree, look at the rest of the comments below, most of the people call it "Cello". Besides I play the instrument so I know, maybe you play it too,but if you're not sure look at the rest of the comments below as I previously mentioned :-/

The lord of the rings score has always been one of my favorites of all time. This cover is one of the best that I have ever found. It is beautiful. I have always loved all stringed instruments. Violin, cello, and piano were the three instruments that most interested me. This video just makes me want to learn so much more. Thank you!
Beautiful arrangement/performance! Genuinely gave me chills around 1:31 onward. Especially around 1:43, I had this thought, "these are such wonderful sounds"... kind of weird, not meant as an insult or anything, it just stirred some kind of primal feeling inside me in a way I haven't felt before.
Ok, so I'm a Viola player, who also plays Violin, but the Cello part... my god... the Cello always gives me chills down my spine. I really wanna learn how to play the Cello now XD
I love you guys. From the music choice, how it is played, the angles shot, and how beautifully it is edited together. And ive only started watching your videos 5 minutes ago. Kudos to you!
Please, you need to finish the song from the ending! I am a person who rarely stops to like let alone comment on a video, but I really felt the need to tell you how much I appreciated what you did with Glamdring (the main theme from Two Towers) there. It was beautiful and it left me wordless. The clarity of your sound is beyond anything I've heard for a long time, and would be perfect for portraying the song.
Wow, the first five notes already had me amazed!! Wonderful job! The cello starts, and I already feel like I'm in Mr. Baggins' house as Thorin and Co. recount the tragedy and destruction of Dale in what was probably the best a capella number of all time.
Sounds amazing, but at 0:47 it sounds like they switched: "We must away ere break of day to get our long-forgotten gold." "The pines were roaring on the height The winds were moaning in the night The fire was red, it flaming spread; The trees, like torches, blazed with light." Edit: Now that I think about it, this actually sounds and looks more like a trailer for the full/extended version of the song. The cinematic shots of the people walking to their seats and the fade ins and fade outs make it seem more like it's jumping around to certain parts of a much longer video.
I've been in love with The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings since I was old enough to read, and when the movies came out I completely fell in love with the soundtracks. This cover is absolutely AMAZING!!! Every time I listen to it, it gives me the chills!! Lyrics or not, I think I love this more than the actual song in the movie!!!
this song always reminded me of my native village , a small unknown village in the foothills of the great Himalayas , the starting of your song brought tears in my eyes and i was there.....amazing work....amazing....
Arrepiei...quando o cello começou! e quando eu menos esperava...entrou o Cajon e eu quase chore u.u Agradeço a toda essa orquestra pelo maravilhoso espetáculo!
Bella Day I'm relearning after not playing for 4 years. please play if you can. it is the most beautiful instrument I've ever played, and I've playing a lot.
I thought you could sell covers, there are groups like the piano guys, simply three, and Boston string quartet that do this. I'm relatively certain that because they added a new spin to the original composition, it made it their own work.
If it's something like Mozart, it's okay to use. But movie producers/companies generally lock down on making copies of covers, that's their right to file a copyright claim for profiting off their work. A non-monetized cover is generally ignored because it's not that big of a deal (some companies do however file claims on certain videos regardless), but to make money off of someone else's idea is illegal.
@@ahp6303 dont think so. Last week i decided to watch the whole series one more time in order, watched the hobbit right after LOTR and realized that some scenes in hobbit feels like im watching shrek. Kinda bad. It could be better.
This is absolutely amazing. Gosh the more I watch your videos the more I'm astounded by how talented you (and your friends) are. Absolutely extraordinary. This was so beautiful. I have chills now. Amazing. Just lost for words. ^-^
This is just mindblowing, The People's Orchestra played this at the opening night of the Hobbit at Symphony Hall and it was amazing, but this was beautiful!!
having all these people as friend and all ready when you call them... omg holy cow. I want that part of your life! I'm the only pianist in my whole school... :(
I had similar thinking as in your description. At my High school we do senior projects where we take three weeks to do something constructive. I chose to do a full band arrangement of different themes from the 4 movies. I just discovered this video. To my surprise, the beginning with the cellos is exactly how I arranged mine with the different entrances, very well done!
When i watch this, i cant help crying, because its so beautiful what people can do together, you are awsome and I really love this video, thank you so much every one of you for your effort :)
I have to admit that this video was one of the reasons that I started to play cello. And here I am, five years after :)
A moment of silence because I didn't believe that this was 5 years ago !!
How good are you now
Shan Gupta Oh my, I have forgotten this comment haha, but I think I'm okay. I mean, I stoped playing cello because I started university the last year. But I hope can do it again soon :~)
Pitiless Nightmare awe this makes me sad to hear you stopped 🥺 you should continue if you still love to play! Don’t let college overtake your life!!
Ten years now
Oh, my god, the cello... The cello...
Cello =
i didn't know how you call that instrument in english until i read your comment , thanks
we call it ''violoncel''

Kelly I was just sayin that ''violoncel'' is the romanian for cello :D
+Cezar Alexandru In our language, "violonce!" is what we call it when the orcs are trying to kill the dwarves or vice-versa.

I'm almost crying. So wonderful. Thank you so so much!
The most beautiful sound of an orchestra I've ever heard. I'm almost crying for such beauty.
These guys should play at the world premiere. They are so good! That'll be so much more epic than having some dude sing on stage.

I love the mellow sounds of the cello's and how they blend with the violins, well done :D
This is AMAZING! 😍
This is AMAZING!!! More!!! I love it. Thank you soo much for sharing your talent and giving us such beautiful music to enjoy! x
The hobbit movie was unappealing, but the music however, especially this motif, gives me chills.
I believe that it was a good series but the LOTR was better which made the hobbit less appreciated.

I'm getting goosebumps watching this video again. Nothing can explain the feelings you get while playing this song in an orchestra class.
"You'll have a tale or two to tell when you come back."
"You promise I will come back?"
