- Repotting and propagating the only Dyckia I have in the collection. This was a gift from Lyn of @desertplantsofavalon 3 years ago and it has grown significantly since then. Enjoy! :)

Oh WOWSERS Daz :-D AWESOME repotting and propagation video and WOWSERS your Dyckia has grown SO MUCH, and WOW with the gorgeous little Dyckia pup offsets its grown, I will definitely need to repot mine very soon too, and they look so AMAZING all potted up and we are so happy that its grown so well and has produced its own little offsets, they all look so healthy, thanks so much for sharing the awesome Dyckia repotting and propagation with us Daz, and Hans and I are sending you and beautiful Edith lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER to England and Singapore for a fantastic Tuesday today XXXX
Thank you so much, Lyn 😊 It has done very well over the years. I'd like to add more Dyckia to the collection but these don't seem to come up for sale often in the UK and the ones that do seem to sell for quite a bit. Thank you for watching and commenting as always, Lyn. Have a wonderful day from Edith & myself to you and Hans ❤️🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜
@@Cactimania XXXX 🥰🌵❤🌞🏜😀
This spiky Dyckia Brevifolia is really beautiful...but the spikes really bite!!! Lot of offsets in 3 years. They are all nicely repotted. Thanks for sharing this video! Have a wonderful evening Daz and Edith!
Thank you so much, Sylvia 😊 Yeah the thorns are pretty nasty on these, I knew it would bite me during repotting haha. Thank you for watching and commenting as always. Have a lovely evening from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜
Yikes. I almost felt that prick when you said ow. I always enjoy your repotting videos. Just wish they were longer. 😊
Thank you so much, Juanell 😊 There will certainly be some longer repotting videos to come, especially when it's time to make a start on repotting the cacti. Thank you for watching and commenting. Have a wonderful day from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌺🌸🌼🏜
Thank you -ouch- for an informative video.
Thank you 😊 Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜
Nice plant, has grown so much for you. Well done.

Great video, love the color on this one!
Thank you 😊 Yeah it has a nice shine to the leaves. Thank you for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜
I appreciate the subtle pattern on the Dyckia leaves where the developing thorns made their impression. And I like the shiny olive-y green color. But, I don't like pain so Dyckia won't be making a home with me!
Haha yeah the thorns on these are quite nasty. Still not as bad as some Opuntia, though! Thank you for watching and commenting, Laura 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜
Great video and what a truly wonderful, healthy plant you have there, Daz! I can see from your latest videos and also from Ziggy's comments that we are all currently busy repotting our plants, my friends, hahaha! Sending you and Edith warm regards, take care, stay safe and happy potting! 😊🙌👍😉🪴🌿🌵💚😎☀️
Thank you so much, Joe 😊 Yeah it's going to be a busy year with the repotting, might as well start now haha. Thank you for watching and commenting my friend. Have a wonderful day from Edith & myself and happy growing 🌵☀️🌺🌸🌼🏜

Thank you, Ted 😊 Thanks for watching and commenting. Have a wonderful day and weekend from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌺🌸🌼🏜
Your plants look really nice
Thank you 😊 Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜
A beautiful succulent but lethal with its bite! It looks like it grew a lot since you received it and it has produced some healthy offsets. Nice work, Daz!
Thank you so much, Justin 😊 It has certainly done well over the 3 years since Lyn sent it. Thank you for watching and commenting. Have a wonderful day from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌺🌸🌼🏜
I got one late last summer. Believe it was called Grape Jelly. Leaves looked almost black when I picked it out at the greenhouse. Was a bit of a challenge to repot as the lower leaves curled down, pushing itself out of the pot.
I've heard of that one. I wanted to add more to the collection but they don't seem to come up for sale very often. Thank you for watching and commenting, William. Have a lovely evening from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌺🌸🌼🏜
Muito bom.
Cheio de filhos essa linda planta 💚
Thank you 😊 Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌺🌸🌼🏜
Nice one Daz 🙂 I've just done my Gasteria, now I'll have to get a pineapple too 😁 Hope you and Edith have a lovely evening my friend 😊😊🌵🌵
Thank you so much, Ziggy 😊 I think pineapples are a type of Bromeliad as well. Thank you for watching and commenting my friend. Have a lovely day from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌺🌸🌼🏜
@@Cactimania It was a Pineapple that took my front tooth out 😲😲🌵🌵
OUCH!! F♤☆# hahaha!!!😂 oh yeah! I remember these!!! 😵Wicked teeth!!! Kinda like an agave except the teeth face forward like you said. Started one of these when I lived in California. Seems every time I picked up this plant or something around it, I got injured!!! Hahaha!! Don't have this one anymore. I would have to say this is the most painful bromeliad alive!!! Kinda like chollas, handle with extreme care!!! Thanks for sharing Daz!!! From Morris Park in the Ozarks, to the UK 🇬🇧 and Singapore 🇸🇬 have a wonderful day!!! Peace, Love, Plants!!!✌️💖🌵🌷🌴🌸🌿🌻🍀🌾💐🌱🌳🌹🪴😃👍
Thank you so much, Clyde 😊 Haha yeah it's one of those plants that no matter how careful you are handling it it will find a way of biting you! Thank you for watching and commenting my friend. Have a lovely day from Edith & myself to you and Deb 🌵☀️🌺🌸🌼🏜
I was half expecting to see blood. 😅 But I’m glad I didn’t.
Haha I was, too 😅 I knew I wouldn't get through this repotting without being bitten! Thank you for watching and commenting as always, Ana. Have a wonderful day from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜☕
Another beautiful but ‘noli me tangere’ plant from Lyn, Sweetheart! Love the shine on those glorious, healthy leaves. Would you advise to remove the pups or just let them clump in general? Loved watching with you, as always. ❤️🌼🌺🌸💚
Thank you so much my love 🥰 You can leave the pups on if you don't want to propagate. I just found with this plant is that those dried up leaves are pretty difficult to remove with pups attached and if you pull them out sometimes the pups can come off with them anyway. Enjoyed watching with you, babe. Thank you for all your love, support and encouragement ❤️🌺🌼🌸🤗😘❤️
