Lovely video that mate, good to see a van camp, and out on the full sus bike. Quality! You’ll have to head over this way for a van camp some time, I’ve found a few prime locations now. Might have to suss out some spots near the Viking Trail over at Tunstall, not ridden that one for ages now.
Sausages, Karens, dog incidents and a real bike! wow this vid has got it all. I'm presuming you know about apps like drone assist etc and have got your operator ID etc? If it's not a restricted area (and it might be given where you live) then I'd tell Karen to swivel on my fat one. Or just do what I used to do when challenged about riding my MTB on footpaths down there "i know, silly isn't it?" and carry on.
@@PeteDevlinootnaboot Hello, yes I have my operator ID, I half thought of telling Karen, but left it! No restrictions at this spot thankfully, just lots of know it alls. The couple who almost had a flat dog were really apologetic about walking up the single track, so can’t fault them!

@@Iceni_Paul nice one Paul, yeah I think this year I’ll be getting more van camps in, just so easy in the crappy weather. BUT, will definitely be getting a load of Wildcamp in still. Yes need to get out your way sometime. That camp near the seafront looked great mate 👍🚙
With Winter rapidly approaching and the nights closing in, it’s nice to make something of mid week. Does anyone else do overnighters on a week night?
Yeah I do sometimes but it's difficult, especially first thing in the morning, I got to pack away at 5.30 6am
