As a Cubase user of 10+ years, there I things I wish it did, that studio one does flawlessly. I haven't switched over fully yet, but a few more terrible updates from Steinberg and I'm done.
Hardcore Studio One fan but in my opinion comping in Cubase was MUCH easier. I miss the way Cubase comps. 1 click promoting (instead of having to switch to the listen tool) and also the ability to move events in a lane is very nice. In studio one you CANNOT move an event whatsoever. It's really annoying.
...but what good are these eternal daw X vs. daw Y "comparisons"? Is it the uncertainty about what to use? Each DAW are further developed, and each DAW has great functions that are faster or unique than in other DAWs. You can work great with any DAW these days. It always depends on how willing you are to get involved in your daw. I could name hundreds of things that are better in Cubase than in S1 and vise versa. But what good does that do. I also think that people who are always jumping between several daws and making such comparisons are not really creative or have way too much time. Musicians could make wonderful music with their old daws back then twenty years ago, and there weren't nearly as many possibilities as there are today. :)
the mastering session is automatically integrated to the mix session in studione we can upgrade our modification in the mix to the mastering session once,,, but not in cubase
I use studio one and didn't even know studio one has this feature😂.
Haha. Thanks for watching mate.
The crossfade can be turned on automativally globally. if you set it in your template it's there for every session

I like S1 for it’s workflow. However I like and still use Cubase for its stability.

10:03 - Does Cubase do a crossfade between takes, like Studio One or not?
Not automatically but you can turn on auto fade features per track or globally. Depending on your preference.

Studio one is much better than cubase..
Thank you for watching and sharing your opinion. Why do you think S1 is better?
Yes, the customersupport and the price. (i think i will leave Steinberg after 20 years because of that) But not the software. Never.
Why do you have to go to customer support more than producing?
And in India only the difference is rs 3000 or less
