Thanks for the video! I'm gonna use my own samples in the drum machine. Is it possible to save them along with a drum kit? In the Groove Agent there's an option export samples but I don't see this feature in drum machine GUI. Could you please share an idea on how to do such task? Thanks again.

im a studio one user. this is really the only shortcoming of cubase ive found since trialing cubase 14 as a first time cubase user. they clearly have the foundation to fix it so maybe v15 as the macro system is working when you touch any parameter so why not make an automation new lane creation shortcut like studio one has with opt+a (alt+a windows). This has been an incredible DAW though. not as big of a deal but folders need to be able to be bus tracks its 2024 thats not a huge deal but its just a little weird. amazing video! came to make sure i wasnt missing out on anything in cubase. I was thinking there had to be a better way then the write. thank you for the video.

I waited so long for it, finally it´s there. Still can´t believe it. It isn´t Bitwig, but it´s great and I´m happy. Still there are some things to improve. For example: A better, bigger slider or option for the modulation depth and a fade-in-option for every modulator. The coolest thing about modulators is, that they also can modulate other modulators, what is great for creating new modulators that change over time.

Actually the selection auf automation lanes also works with fabfilter plug-ins. So this VST3 feature is to be integrated by the plug-ins developers.

Guess who's back, back again? Zameer's back, tell your friends.... I really love the modulation options, something i'm yet to try yet is to see if those modulations can be written as automation lanes and then easily disabled afterwards so you can use them as the basis of automation which you can then tweak. I already love to modulate one modulator with another, which adds even more movement and interest to sounds.

My friends and family said "What the hell is this that you send me?" Oh well, I enjoy your vids! :) It would be nice to right click and show automation, but that would affect the ability for third parties to have their own right click menus. For all automation I just set the plugin to Write mode at the top left of it's window and then click each parameter (You don't have to change it) and it will add the parameter at the current value, the turn Write off. I agree with a lot of your other items though, I don't understand why we have macros and PLE functions yet can't just bind them to a shortcut bar or custom toolbars to snap below the info line or somewhere. I know people use Streamdecks for such tasks, but that seems like something else you have to manage.

In order to show automation of any parameter of VST, you need to press QC in the upper right corner and assign the parameter to the knob. Then, by right-clicking, show the automation track. It's convenient for me.

A simple work around for the showing automation lane is simply hitting the read and write on said plugin. Move what you want to move and boom the automaton lane appears. It’s the only method I’ve used.

Sir cubase 14 removed my vst 2 plugins like Soundtoys , Pianoteq , Ez Bass How can I use them back Pianoteq is working fine Standalone but cubase not support it after 14

shame on you steinber! how many years has it been that way? Look at Ableton live implementation of this. They give people crap they dont need, change UI and stuff and NEVER do these important things

I miss simply right clicking on a knob and selecting "Learn" and having it work. That no longer functions and this whole new system is buggy and not as flexible. I have VSTi with 50-100 knobs, and often want to change what I control from patch to patch.
