Glad to see you called the Burrito man out when he was eating during prayer lol. Sure understandable under a condition like diabetes and may be having an low sugar problem. But let's have reverence to our Lord, be in the mind of Christ when we are in prayer. It's a time to open our hearts and our minds to be ready to learn the Word of God. Like saluting for the pledge of allegiance, so we should bow to Lord and savior!.
Probably 9.8K views (at this time) may persuade Tim to be more reverent during prayer, more respectful of a teacher that spent time preparing, and more respectful of fellow students that had eaten already. I have been at Steve Lawson's workshops like this, and he definitely cares about the way that the audience exercises respect.
Imagine giving a Bible lesson on" love not the world," and even in a room full of Christians someone fiddling with their food eating during the prayer, and then literally being interrupted as someone checks their mobile device for world news. May God draw our affections and attention to him.
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Very educatieve! Thanks pastor! I had to hear this again! A side note: I don't think Jesus only died for the 'elect' or His sheeps you seems to refer to. 1 John 2:2 is very clear: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. Yes I believe in election because the Lord knows everything in advance. But there is also a free will. And He wants no one to perish.(2 Pet 3:9, 1 Tim 2:4) So He paid for everybody! There is one way to salvation and that is through believe or trust in Jesus alone. In Christ united.
I print out the transcripts to follow along and highlight while studying along with you . This one doesn't have a transcript or does it and i am just not seeing it ? ;( Thank you for having this available for all of us.
Everytime I hear Kent speaking with my eyes closed I hear Justin Peters 😅😅😅 can't help it. Their accent and style of speaking is very similar. 😏 Anyways thank you for this study, great topic! 👌🏻 Exactly for me 🙏🏻
“Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-comes not from the Father but from the world.” (1 John 2:15-16 NIV) THE LUST OF THE FLESH “The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.” (Galatians 5:19-21 NIV)
You have a typo in the scripture address... this study covers 1John 2:15-17 (you have it as 2:5-17)... confusing when trying to get these studies in sequence.
@Contemporary Controversy hi, absolutely I know we do all say things we wish we hadn’t, I love this study series, I look forward to it coming on every week, I thank God for men like Steve Lawson who obediently serve the Lord to bring us such studies, I was expressing my disappointment in the inappropriate joke, I don’t believe that shows a lack of grace and was not my intention. I do stand by that. God bless.
Hey Tim: Get your manners checked up...Steve was really gracious but everyone knows that you should have eaten before, or wait for later. You are 1 person away...Do you realize how disturbing that is for a speaker? You may want to leave the room. Don't be guilty of being distracting to the preacher or fellow students.
Good morning sir your very helpfull for my ministry thank you so much sir.if any online classes is there in your ministry pls add this number.thank you.
Yes our greater affection and love for God through His Word is greater than anything this world can offer.
Loved this, Pastor Lawson. So thankful for your ministry. It challenges me to no longer be lazy and passive in my walk with God.
Thank you. 😁

Can’t understand why that man thought it ok to continue eating during a time of prayer…. It was completely ignorant.

Great, timely study. Thank you Pastor Lawson.

Thank you soo much for this Pastor Lawson! This had blessed me immensely! God Bless you!
You called out the man eating with such class 👍
Great study, thank you, Pastor Lawson.
Amen
This video as well seems to have an audio issue, I can only hear it on the left of my headphones.
Very interesting study...so Jesus died only for those who would accept Him as their Lord and Savior?
Very educatieve! Thanks pastor! I had to hear this again!

Let Bishop SC Johnson explain that to you all
In the title is a small mistake. You mean 1 John 2:15-17. You wrote 2:5-17
Very disappointed with Steve’s ‘joke’ at the end. Ephesians 5:4

don't be disappointed with God's determined jokes...
What!? _"He had a wife that will always make you look at a virgin!"_ 56:50
56:50 Not so funny! : (
Please go to rumble. There are people who do not watch UA-cam anymore.
It is prom ridiculous all these men eating and drinking like they are starving to death while the word of God is being taught
Tim is his name. Very disrespectful, dishonoring and irreverent.

remark about Job’s wife is ugly. Mrs. Job lost everything Job lost. In your studies you seem to depreciate women.
