@@pcdport3017 Here's another thing I'll bet you didn't realize -- the theme played over the end credits is different for every episode. You have to click the "Hide" tab at the top of the little timer box on the lower right of your screen, or you'll only get about ten seconds of the end theme.
Go ye forth and listen. Each version is different -- and I'm not talking simple remixes. Different arrangements, instrumentation, the works. You'll love the end for Ep. 1 in particular.

Tennant's right -- he did a lovely job on that spooky lullaby. Such a caressing, Scottish-granny delivery of a lovely little melody, and with such appallingly scary lyrics!
Another non-spoiler teaser for a great bit in the show -- Crowley talking to his house plants. Sheer genius in every respect -- skillful make-up, perfect lighting, deft videography, and a restrained touch of CGI. And the acting. Oh my, the acting.
I wonder if there was even any CGI in the plant scene? You can make plants shake and get taller with practical effects.
@@OrigamiMarie Nah, not the shaking plants. That's purely practical. I was thinking of the eyes, and some of the red tones in his skin when he "encouraged" the greenery to *"grow better."*

@@OrigamiMarie Yeah, I'm sure there were weird lenses, but I'm also pretty sure there was a bit of CGI enhancement, especially when Crowley gets a little miffed, and his eyes seem to bulge.
haplessasshole David Tennant can make his eyes bulge in a way, that I believe they didn’t need GCI there. I may be wrong, but I wonder. Now I’m curious about it. Will someone ask him about it in an interview, please?

Yes, please! I now kind of wish they'd done 2 versions of the show, with the only difference being that they swapped roles. Obviously they couldn't actually do that, but it would've been pretty amazing. I really think they both could've pulled off being the other character.

I’m one of those nerds who can quote the book verbatim, and I have very few complaints overall -which is high praise.
I just wish they would of kept the other four horsemen in the show.
@@FelixVRandDad I kind of missed them too, but if they had to choose between the extra horsemen and the episode 3 that they actually made, I think I'm glad they went with episode 3. I heard Neil saying somewhere that there was extra material that he and Terry wrote that never made it into the book, and a lot of that material got into the show.
@@FelixVRandDad big same! Neil commented they already had them written in and even casted the actors! Sadly they didn't have time to fit them in :/
The actual four horsemen seemed a little off too, to me. But that's just a nitpick, overall I thought it was fantastic
I wish they had kept the religious show bit - but overall, adding a lot of Jon Hamm was a bonus. My biggest complaint is that unless there's a miracle there probably won't be a sequel....but I can dream!

Nanny is now officially her own character (while still being a part of Crowley) in some fanfic stories. She’s awesome.
I binged watched the shows.. it was magical
I accidentally binge-watched it. I was planning to ration it out over several days, but as soon as I watched the first episode, I just kept going until I'd watched the whole thing. Now I plan to go back and read the book again and the re-watch the series afterwards.

I may have fallen pretty hard for this show.

Rileigh Swan I'm quite sure that he wanted to say just that but caught himself at the very last second, haha. Remember that they aren't supposed to spoil any big things in this interview :) Plus he's been open about it in his interviews that came after the show's release date - he often talkes about how he believes Aziraphale to be in love with Crowley and actually plays him that way. And you can see it so well in his acting choices - Aziraphale constantly looks at Crowley like he hung the moon ❤️ Michael Sheen's Aziraphale doesn't wear his heart on his sleeve, he wears it in his face, in every smile and every loving crinkle of his eyes...
So long story short, I'm pretty certain that's exactly what he was going to say :)

@@Laura-rp9rt When they were on the bench, I remember thinking how cold Aziraphale was looking in the face, and how needy Crowley was acting for his character. Then when they switched back, I realized it was intentional and subtle. Good job of actors acting.
@@Gwenesis I thought they had switched when Crowley smiled and then didn't get into the Bentley, but wasn't sure when. It didn't make sense to me that Crowley recognized that the Just William books were new, unless Crowley knew what books were in the shop. I thought maybe they switched immediately after that, just before he got into the Bentley, but there was no particular hint of that.
Then I thought maybe it was when the music got distorted right before he said, "ticketyboo." I may ask Neil when it was for sure.

My favourite scene is when Aziraphale hints to Crowley to help him with his jacket at the paintball range. He didn't want to come out and say it, and OMG they were so cute!!!!! 💞💗💖💓💘

I'm falling for Tennant's sense of responsibility about the readers' dreams. Not everyone is so respectful of the readers.

OMG I've been saying all along that I want to see it (at least 1 scene) with the roles swapped. I would sooo watch the stage show with the actors alternating each night (like Cummberbatch and Miller in Frankenstein alternating between the Doctor and the Creature). DO IT!!! PLEASE!!!!

Which one? Gaiman or Pratchett? Do you have a link to a reference? All I can find online is Neil having a Twitter exchange with a fan. When asked "Are Aziraphale and Crowley gay?" Neil responded with the bit about angels not having genders, but when pressed with the question of "Are they in love?" he responded "Absolutely."

Thank you, I have seen "The Colour of Magic" along with the animated "Witches Abroad". I'm waiting for the second half of "Going Postal" to be posted...they followed the book quite faithfully and it was superbly cast, and vastly entertaining!
