I really love that they gave the fans what they wanted, but in a way they DID NOT WANT IT AT ALL! You can really feel the pain in their faces and how uncomfortable Aziraphale is despite liking Crowley back (I assume), such stunning acting!
It was done in a really clever way cause everyone was saying it was going to be only fan service boy they were sooo wrong🫠

Aziraphale is torn between Crowley and his new position in Heaven because he really believes he can make a difference when he's in charge.
I don't think it's only what fans wanted beacaus they already said that Crowley and Aziraphale felt feelings for each other but they did not want to assume it and if they seem so tense during the scene especially Aziraphale it is because he himself does not want to assume it

I feel you. I honest to god thought I was gonna have a mental breakdown during the last moments of episode 6, I luckily didn't but I do have a very painful emptiness in my heart and soul now, I am beyond excited for season 3 I feel like we all fking *need* it now

I think he had wanted to say „no” when he had seen Crowley still was there on the street… But when Metatrone has said something about new heaven’s plans Aziraphael decided he have to know whats’s going on to protect the Earth and humans

This scene holds the best acting I’ve seen in ages. The way the internal conflict going on in Aziraphale’s head is physically visible on the way he responds to the kiss. Same goes with every emotion Crowley feels, it’s physically visible even when he wears sunglasses and that is just flawless acting
I'd love to get others' reaction--how do you think he felt about that kiss? Maybe disgusted? Or more that he felt terrified by the suddenness? Or just shocked? Maybe he's crying because he'd wanted something similar for a long time, but now he's committed to heaven, so feels he can't act in the way he wishes. Another possibility could be that he didn't realize until that moment that he had romantic feelings (beyond loving him as friend), or didn't know that Crowley returned such feelings.
@@letolethe3344 I personally think he reacted that way because of the moment Crowley *finally* decided to do it. Like they both knew they love each other, but even if Crowley was planning on confessing before Aziraphale said the big news... from his perspective, it seems like the kiss is Crowley's last attempt to say ''stay with me'' , and because Aziraphale thinks heaven is the good thing, in his mind is about having to choose his own personal good (crowley, life on earth) or the world's good (because he believes he can make a difference if hes in charge).
I think Aziraphale's ''I forgive you'' is him, forgiving for what he thinks is Crowley attempt of ''tempting'' him into staying on earth, into choosing him.
💔hes forgiving Crowley for using a ''thing'' (kiss, confession) that Aziraphale had longed for ages as a weapon to lure him into choosing him. (From A's perspective)
@@hey7492 That makes a lot of sense and shows a lot of empathy--being able to walk in Aziraphale's shoes. I think Crowley could, from Aziraphale's POV, be seen as being manipulative with that kiss. He suddenly confesses his feelings out of the blue, after not communicating his emotions (by his own admission) for 6,000 years and then expects or tries to get Aziraphale to be suddenly okay with building his life around him. While I understand people's disappointment/sadness, I feel like a lot of fans are reacting quite childishly, just demonizing Aziraphale and assigning him suddenly as "bad", which is the same unnuanced, black and white thinking that is partly driving Aziraphale's choice.
@@letolethe3344 Exactly! I think Aziraphale immediately catched the gesture as a sort of manipulation, but immediately forgave him because 1. They love each other 2. Is on Crowley's nature to tempt, is in Aziraphale's nature to forgive... That scene was incredibly well done...
And tbh I haven't seen real hate for Aziraphale at all, but I suppose there is many who do hate him for his choice. Though I've mostly seen people making theories about the coffee, body swapping, Metatron threatening him... etc, mostly taking the complete blame out of Aziraphale. the change of Aziraphale's smitten attitude to saying "nothing last forever" and just abandoning all his earth life seems very strange so I really do think it's not just a decision made by him in a regular manner... Gotta love the shades of gray fr, angels being the actual villains sounds just too good to pass on, imo

@@hey7492 There needs to be some reason for the 180 turn from Aziraphale. There should be some compelling reason for Aziraphale just abandoning Crowley after 6,000 years. I think it has to do with that totally untrustable metatron.
The acting in this scene was incredible! Both actors deserve the highest awards for these performances. It was almost like watching it live on stage instead of just on screen, in terms of feeling present and real
I am saying this to EVERYONE i speak to in these days. They created these characters and are so deeply them that it's pure theatre to watch. As it was season 1. Incredible acting...
Crowley's voice cracking is what broke me, and then seeing the GIFs where both their hands are fully shaking... all the awards!!! 😭😭😭😭
Sheen and Tennant are probably the absolute best actors of their generation and most likely, the generations before and after. I am so hooked on this show and have never hurt for days after an ending.

You guys absolutely destroyed me, the performance was incredible and that last scene made me cry every time i watched it, I watched it 5 times and I’m going to watch it with my dad tomorrow. It’s heartbreaking I hope there’s a season 3, I applaud all of you this season was beautiful.

That sigh after "I forgive you" is where I started sobbing when I watched it. I started hyperventilating at the kiss because I KNEW it was gonna go that way but the sigh...that sigh was heartbreaking because David is such a good actor that the sigh itself said way too much.v
It was a 'I lay all my emotions bare and it still wasn't enough to convince him'-sigh.

After the fifth time I saw the scene I thought "I've cried for so many other movies, because this is literally tearing my heart apart?" never cried so much....they are wonderful, i hate aziraphale and i love him at the same time.

@@YleniaJackson94I don’t think it’s fair to hate Aziraphale. I think Aziraphale thought Crowley was using his feelings against him to make him stay and didn’t really mean the kiss. If Aziraphale had realised it was a genuine kiss he would have stayed.
Also we don’t know Aziraphale’s reason for going to heaven. He may have wanted to be a double agent for Crowley and stop the end of the world happening from the inside.

I'm so sad for both honestly. Aziraphale has been conflicted for 6,000 years and we all know he thinks Crowley is perfect and wonderful and kind and that's why he believes that Crowley should never have been a demon and he wants to remake a heaven that would have allowed that image of Crowley that he sees to be true, you know? He's an idealist and a planner and he needs Crowley to this with him so they both can be safe and happy together instead of running away to another star. They love each other so much, we all know this, they have been pining for ages but there is so much conflict in Aziraphale's heart, he is like that kid who cannot hate his abusive, manipulative family and keeps trying to make everyone happy and together trying to keep what it was before but happier and better and Crowley is the type of kid who distrusts everyone except Aziraphale (and even him he kept at arm's length) they actually both have done this and they both have such different ideas of what it is meant to be free and happy but they want the same end result so badly. Basically these two have been through too much religious trauma and have different ways of coping and it is breaking me

Crowley thought him and Aziraphale could be like Gabriel and Beelzebub, going off together for the rest of eternity, but then he realised they weren't on "our side" anymore and Aziraphale couldn't accept that Crowley isn't an angel and Crowley not wanting to go back to be an angel.
Crowley just wanted to be with Aziraphale, his angel.

I don't think it's that Aziraphale can't accept Crowley isn't an angel, I mean he accepted him for 6 thousand years as a demon. I think Azi genuinely believes being an angel is what makes Crowley the happiest, like when Crowley created the stars. Azi thinks it's unfair for Crowley to be condemned when he only got a bit close to other fallen angels (and for asking questions). The problem with these two is that they didn't communicate their intentions properly which led to misunderstanding. And their views are quite different. Aziraphale couldn't leave the human alone to face the brawl between heaven and hell. He's idealistic, and believes he can make a change. Crowley is more practical. After what he's been through, he can drop everything and head to Alpha Centauri as long as he can be with Aziraphale. This fight was bound to happen sooner or later, it can be a great progress for their relationship. If there is a season 3, we'll probably see them finally opening up to the relationship.
@@eternalflame1994 I think Azi actually took that job for Crowley's sake. It was Crowley that wanted to see change, Crowley that couldn't kill the goats and kids. Azi just was uncomfortable not stopping hell. He never voiced a desire to make any sort of change, he wants to do what god wants. That he is now focusing on making a change, is purely because Crowley wanted to be able to suggest changes. I am not even sure Azi would know what sort of change to make aside from "don't kill people". But Crowley would know. Its just that every time Azi points out the good in Crowley, Crowley gets upset. So he can't straight up say things like that, he needs Crowley to go and sulk and get over himself by himself and then show up to rescue Azi.

Because you can't end a story in the middle. And love stories (if you look at how they are written as a formula, and it is) always have this kind of moment in the second act. It's inevitable. It's what drives the narrative. The resolution comes in the third act.
There is a part of me that wishes I'd never heard of the book, or the series: that breakup at the end hurt me that much. IT CAN'T BE LEFT LIKE THIS. Reading through the comments here I'm so glad I'm not the only one sobbing my eyes out. The first five minutes of Up was nothing compared to this. I'm crying all the tears.
Cause it’s a different relationship. Think about it you have a relationship for so many more lifetimes. It’s something that if you really stop to see it, then you start to really understand the folly of eternity. Someone to love and hold is different when you speak to that depth. But in the end, no one can really out run that fate. Everything is on the line at all times and you are just waiting for the bomb to drop. If we do get a season three I have a feeling where it will go. And I want to see it. Because that ending will be everything. Think about it. A new heaven and a new earth where they can live as they were meant to. It’s the only possible out come that makes sense. Because Ying cannot live without Yang.

I feel you, man. I had a freaking existensial crisis because of this "gentle, comfort and romantic" stuff and after reading a fanfic (which is to say on site I've been reading it almost ten more pages of fanfics based on season two appeared in less than two days) I felt so SO bad that as if I was having a panic attack. Single thought of season two makes me feel so uncomfortably strange that I partly wish I've never known of book much less series.
But it is glorious. Absolutely beautiful. The book is genius, S1 is epic, S2 is embodiment of true drama. Despite all pain it gave me I still adore it and look forward for season 3.

You can seriously tell that Crowley was struggling to get all of his thoughts out...especially after Aziraphale had just dashed his hopes. He actually got choked up on his words😭And this scene absolute killed me. I watched it as soon as it came out last night and barely slept the whole night bc of this scene.
THIS WAS HANDSDOWN THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND MOST HEARTBREAKING SCENE THAT I'VE EVER WATCHED. Like OH MY GOD WHY... but at the same time, THANK YOU FOR INDIRECTLY GUARANTEEING SEASON 3! I'm crying and giggling at the same time and I haven't been this conflicted on how my feelings work. Like WOAH! I absolutely love it and hate it at the same time... and I wouldn't change it for anything. Just get them together later on in the story and I will literally die of pure bliss. Lots of love and respect to Neil Gaiman.

If the decision of season 3 is in our laps, then there's no way it won't happen. I can't wait for it, to see them go from different sides, to the same, to different again. It made me feel shocked, and very sad. I swear I went through the 5 stages of grief. It was amazing acting, and amazing writing. I can't wait to see who they make me cry next season☺️😭

"I forgive you" must be the most soul-crushing and heartbreaking thing to hear after confessing your love and kissing someone. I was furious with Aziraphale :D

But also you have to see Aziraphales side. The point of each character in this show is that they have flaws. Aziraphale is sort of afraid to change his life despite the fact that he could be happy. My theory on why he said he forgave Crowley is because he was getting into the mindset of being the Supreme archangel. Or, he was being controlled
@@yonipwr I think he was forgiving Crowley for that intensely awkward kiss. C didn't even check to see if A was into it. It went on and on. Quite aggressive I thought.
@@lord-lala I agree. That consent thing bothered me too. I think Aziraphale was startled and scare. Just being grabbed that way and being forcibly kissed. Wouldn't we see it differently if a male character grabbed a female character by their clothes and just held them in a kiss?

I just want to say a big special thank you to David and Michael for their work in Season 2. You don’t often see such amazing job done in tv shows today
Almost threw up, I was so genuinely upset. The acting was so amazing and emotional. I don't think a show has ever made me this upset, but I think that's a good thing, it shows how much effort and love is put into every part of this, it seaps out of it. An emotion breaking ending for an amazing season (hopefully not the whole series).

I think I will watch both seasons on repeat, so the ranking of it goes of the charts. And I will only stop when the third season comes out and than all will start again.
I waited four years for this season and when they kiss I screamed like someone stab me and then I spend 10 minutes of my life crying and screaming at the TV while I feel my heart was crushing and I curse the holy production and the end... I never curse
Cried my eyes out for two hours straight. Season three has to make it better and I’ll be in a large state of depression until it’s out
It WAS really something people have been wanting for decades and I totally appreciate that we will be taking our time with telling this story.
The fact that this is actually in the plot, on screen, CANON, is SO SO SO meaningful to me and countless other fans! There are a lot of us out here who have felt like these things never actually materialise despite the obvious chemistry of two characters and the potential to have some amazing representation on screen. I personally am very happy with where the story is heading and even though it was a heartwrenching twist, it makes sense. And you can tell everyone in this team loves these characters.
We all wanted Aziraphale and Crowley to end up like
Beelzebub and Gabriel, having their happily ever after but they ended up being more like Maggie and Nina. Even after the most epic adventure, and 6000 years of pining, they still couldn't be together.

Plus, he was a high ranked angel, he (most likely) knows how awful heaven is, more so than Aziraphale. There wouldn't be that many friendly faces if he agreed to it 🫤

Probably one of the best bits of television I’ve watched since pre covid. Just the acting feels so much more personal and in depth with Tennant and sheen! This season was a constant back and forth between fans and Gaiman and little inside jokes. He gave us what we wanted but also left us wanting more, even if it was the opposite direction of what we expected. Season 3 doors are wide open for me! Even just for more Tennant an Sheen content but also amazing visuals and fun storylines with a constant Gaiman effect. ❤

Season 2 of good omens was a mix of like 10 different fanfics and comics I read and saw. It was perfect.
I think because there are SO MANY emotions shown in both az and crowley during this scene, it makes it so so much more heartbreaking, they can’t decide how to feel they’re overwhelmed

I watched the final scene countless of times now, the acting is so, so incredible. The chemistry between the two in general, I really can’t say I’ve ever seen anything like it.
Neil said he will write a book should S3 not happen, but I really hope David Tennant and Michael Sheen get to finish the journey together on screen.

I was NEVER EVER so INVESTED in a series. I was hyperventilating, laughing screaming, crying, rewatching it and doing all of this all over again and I CRAVE (!!!) for a new season. PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN!

No one asked for this but I’m absolutely devastated and I WILL rant about it (spoilers for s2 obviously):
I think the metatron definitely did something to that coffee. The coffee itself was mentioned in the summary of the episode so it definitely has something to do with everything. My reasoning is:
- There was the faint sound of miracle when he was handing the coffee to Aziraphale.
-Aziraphale doesn’t drink coffee. During the show and the book he’s only ever drunk tea or cocoa, never coffee. (He also refuses coffee in the scene on ep1)
-He’d never leave his bookshop behind, especially not to Muriel. He doesn’t let people even so much as touch his books if he deems they don’t know how to appreciate them enough (and muriel has barely touched a book in their life), more so leaving his whole shop to someone who would probably give away his books for free.
- On that note, he wouldn’t leave earth all together, just to go back to heaven. He wouldn’t leave behind the restaurants or his books or everything just to go back to a bland sterile heaven.
-The metatron specifically says he will be needed to orchestrate the second coming of Christ which, as far as I know, is basically whipping out the human race all over again. I think the whole backstory about Job was to show how much Aziraphale cares for humans, enough to go against his orders and lie to his superior. He wouldn’t happily leave his ‘eden’ on earth to bring bigoted damnation upon humanity, especially after he went through the whole ordeal to stop the apocalypse.
- Metatron are in some media described as having memory altering abilities, and to have a way of getting into people’s heads. That would explain why the archangels (Gabriel included) would be so uptight about the devine plan and God’s orders while ‘lower’ angels (like Aziraphale and Muriel) have more room for disobedience, bc they aren’t under direct control. I think that maybe time or perhaps demon contact alters these effects, which could explain why Gabriel suddenly started being avert to restarting the apocalypse and hanging with Beelzebub more frequently. The Metatron could also be in charge of his memories altogether, which is why he had to hide them in the fly before making a run to Aziraphale, perhaps knowing they’d come for him next.
- The coffee Aziraphale was given had almond syrup. Almonds as the first seed of the year represent purity and clearance in some cases. They can also be used to mask the taste of poison. It could be an irrelevant detail but since poison was mentioned earlier in the series it could be a clue.
- The whole “Nothing lasts forever” line was completely out of character for Aziraphale. A key point of his character is that he doesn’t like change in anyway, as opposed to Crowley who is constantly changing. It’s simply not normal for him to just run back to heaven at the first offer, running straight into an environment filled with people who are against him and completely new to him without even thinking about it. Especially since just a few moments earlier, before the metatron took him on that walk and Gabriel was leaving to Alpha Centauri with Beelzebub, he was making literal heart eyes at Crowley, in a “this will be us now” way.
- Again on that, Gabriel didn’t forget everything. He remembered the early days, and the near past, but a good chunk of his memory was completely gone. Aziraphale also looks dazed when he returns to the bookshop, bringing up sides again, saying Crowley was still with Hell and that they (Heaven) were the good guys, even though in season 1 it was proven that heaven and hell were equally as bad. After the kiss he seems to have a moment of clearance (backing up the theory that the metatron’s control can somehow be lifted by demon contact, or Love unlike the one heaven shows) but then he’s back under the trance.
- The song and the entire season warn that something very bad will happen soon, but nothing (besides the breakup) especially bad happened during the season, so it’s more likely got to do with the second coming. The first thing Gabriel himself said to Aziraphale was “I had to come to you or else something horrible will happen” which could also be interpreted as “I had to come to *warn* you or else someone horrible will happen” meaning that Gabriel knew the metatron would come for Aziraphale next, and he was going to warn him about it before he forgot everything.
This could be completely wrong but idc, I’m grieving and I need sb to share my thoughts with (sorry for any mistakes, english isn’t my first language.)
I hope it's like this and Zira is not just a bitch because right now I wanna die it's killing me so much

Gaiman I am so grateful that you did this series. You and Pratchett have caught lightning in a bottle. For Someone's sake take good care of yourself and we will wait out the sweet agony until Season 3. PS. I am glad Crowley had his glasses on. I am so glad I could not see his eyes. If I had seen his eyes, I would be a way worse sobbing mess than I already am. I think we are all having a moment.
The ending is absolutely brilliant and devastating at the same time. I don't think Aziraphale has left Crowley or the other way around, but they do need to find their ways back to each other, and the besuty is, as they say here, is that hopefully we'll find out in a 3rd season how they do that.
Saddest yet most satisfying ending I've ever seen, I loved it and I cried my heart out. Hope there will be a season 3, my heart can't take so much angst without a happy resolution 😭💖

I got everything I wanted, but oh god the cost... the cost was my sanity.
Before I got better mentally through therapy and medication, I literally kept myself going with the help of family, friends and the hope of seeing Season 2 of this show someday. So, naturally when it came out I binged it all immediately without a second thought. I am doing so much better, but Season 3 is now another thing to add to the list of things to keep looking forward to in life. :D
Oh, my God! It's so great, Michael and David played so well.. And even more so this kiss, but after Aziraphale left Crowley and chose paradise, even gave up his bookstore, I'm in wild shock right now.. I hope that there will be season 3, and everything will be fine in the relationship between Crowley and Aziraphale! I'm more worried about their relationship than my own with my parents)
Was sobbing all through these scenes and echo what loads of other people here have been saying. One of the things that struck me, in the comparison between Aziraphale/Crowley and Gabriel/Beelzebub is that I kinda made the assumption that part of why our two were such a slow burn is because they're an angel and a demon. But it only took G and B a few years to get to where they end up. Not 6000. So its not that, it's THEM.
That performance WAS HEARTBREAKING. It was so fckin good and I cry literally just thinking about it. Well done. I’m sobbing 😭

The expression on Tennant’s face, even with sunglasses on (!!), was devastating. That scene was amazing.
After watching that finale, I was extactic from the superb level of acting and storytelling, while also cursing out loud *because* the acting and storytelling was so flawless.
That final sequence ripped my heart to pieces in a way that I hadn't experienced in years from a work of fiction. Michael and David really, really sold that moment through their performance, it was both so impossibly good and so cruelly painful.

This season was INSANE. Such a simple drawn-out plot but I mean, I watched the entire season in one sitting without getting bored, so bravo. Many fan-service, of course, but I’m not complaining at all. The lead-up to the finale felt like… You feed us the most delicious and expensive arrangement of dishes only to stab us 20 times with a knife after we’ve finished eating. Guess we got what we wanted, just in the most painful way possible.
But enough bantering… I loved this season IMMENSELY. Great flashback scenes, phenomenal writing that followed up the previous season very well, impactful score, effective character development, no annoying children, no straight couples, extremely inclusive. Just, wow.
I’ve heard that this season was kind of a “bridge” to the 3rd season, since this was not the story Neil and Terry was building 20 years prior when thinking about a season 2. Is it true that this season was made to fill the gaps?
Yes, Neil said that several times: the plot of S2 was what was needed to get to the start of S3.

I remember being a teenager and feeling sad about having to wait a whole summer just to see the next season of The Vampire Diaries. Little did I know that the era of streaming services and massive production values would normalize waiting years between seasons that are half or even a quarter of the size, lol.
That's not to say I don't think it's worth waiting for something of quality, but dang, with the ending that Good Omens season 2 had, another 3-4 year wait seems like torture. And I assume could even be longer depending on how long it takes for the strikes to be resolved. Obviously the worst-case scenario is that the show doesn't get renewed at all, but I'm trying to stay positive.
That ending was the Armageddon sequel. But i gotta say Gabriel and Beelzebub?? Never saw that in a million years.
As someone who is Demiromantic/Asexual, that last episode absolutely broke me. (OBVIOUSLY SPOILERS AHEAD PEOPLE, BEWARE!!!)
Ever since I watched season one I absolutely adored the relationship depicted with Aziraphale and Crowley. Finally a relationship that went so deep, that was so close but didn't need any of the traditional physical parts of a relationship.
For me, it was hard to accept that part of myself. That I'd never be able to basically 'fulfill that role' in a relationship, stupid as it might sound. I felt like I was lacking. Broken. Not good enough.
I especially connected to Crowleys character because of that. Thousands of years of friendship until your dumb demiromantic ass realises you're starting to feel more for someone but once it happens you feel so god damn deeply for that one person it's ridiculous.
Seeing Aziraphale literally telling Crowley he wasn't good enough the way he was by offering to become an angel again absolutely destroyed me.
Took me a few days to sort my thoughts on that. Initially when I was just done watching the season, I hated that scene. Not because it was written bad or acted bad, no no, that was phenomenal. But it ripped open that wound again. This thought that, no matter what, if you are not kissing / being physically intimate with your partner, it's not real love. It's not good enough and it never will be.
I have no clue if it was intended that way, but boy oh boy. Crowley going for that kiss as a last desperate ditch effort after thousands of years of being there unconditionally, felt exactly like those thoughts of not being good enough. Despite it all, despite your best effort, giving everything you have, you are not good enough because you lack something everyone else seems to have. So you try and give more, give something you personally don't even want to or can give, something that's so foreign to you but you've always been told is THE thing to do when you love someone. And then that's not good enough either.
I'd love to know what Neil Gaimans thoughts were when he wrote that. If that was intended.
I just needed to get my thoughts out I guess. Bottom line is, this touched me deeply and I want to thank everyone who was part of creating this series. It means a lot to me. Thank you all.

A very beautiful way of putting it. I'm demisexual and -romantic, so I relate to that as well. I definitely see Ineffable Husbands as an ace romance, just being in each other's company is extremely intimate for them (with light physicality when romance-focus not being off the table). Because of the actors, it's hard not to take Crowley and Aziraphale as an analogy for older gay men/masc people who realise their sexuality later in life. One of them's accepted that life is finite and they may as well enjoy themselves and forget about the world, while the other still has trauma and internalised homophobia so he's afraid of moving forward despite being so in love. Don't think any of it was intentional, angels and demons are sexless beings who just take on whatever forms and use whatever pronouns they want, but it's hard to deny that having two male-presenting characters adds an extra layer of depth to their relationship
Neil Gaiman has been clear that the kiss was a desperate manipulation tactic by Crowley, that in the Good Omens universe, kisses are NOT required to demonstrate love (two examples: Madame Tracey and Shadwell never kiss, and neither do Gabriel and Beelzebub, but it's obvious they're in love and partnered), and that anyone who didn't see that Azi and Crowley were in love in Season 1 never would. Another thing is that he has avoided calling the characters gay or ace, in part because canon is that they are sexless unless they work at it, and he knows how important representation is to the ace and aro, as well as gay, communities. He said that Aziraphale's orientation is Angel (retired); Crowley's is Fallen Angel. So he leaves it up to viewers to decide for themselves what is going on. Good Omens itself is fanfic, so of course he would let people interpret as they will, imbue scenes with alternative meanings and explanations, etc.

I am really sad about your thoughts. I did have a similar experience, in a way: In a former relationship I was very happy with my boyfriend, just beeing with him was heaven for me. We had the same kind of humor, laughed, deep talking, sometimes he would take me in his arms when watching TV. One day I told him how much I was in love and he was just...totally surprised. He didn' t know we were together for some months 😅. He didn't feel sexually attracted to me. And I thought: Well I don't know If I am sexually attracted to you, that is something for later, but we have such a deep connection, sunshine, Love of my life and everything. I was so totally in love and Interpreted the look in his eyes and the "touches" totally wrong. I was just some kind of Teddybär or crony for him. It felt so stupid and childlike, especially when a friend later told me: "Well, isn't it normal to think about how he is in bed when you start dating? I Imagine things with him blabla?"
"Ähm, nope, I think about how lovely it would be to go on a walk with some nice donkeys and flowers on the herbage and getting to know him is so wonderful that it is a bliss. And you can feel the love in the eyes without words or touches? Maybe we will kiss in the future?"
Well, I am heterosexual and not demiromantic or asexual, but I can relate to a feeling like my sexuality is not quite "healthy" or that I am sad my partner ist falling in love in a very different way...
Now to Azi and Crowley (in my opinion): I don't think they need a prove for their love. They demonstrated they were in love and loved each other over such a long time. It is obvious as if carved in stone. Under normal circumstances they would have one day said they loved each other. Or maybe not, but even words would not be needed I guess. But the circumstances are not normal. Azi can't feel or act normal because he is brainwashed, afraid of the consequences and uncertain about some things. He is becoming a bit more humane - I think - , living on earth.
And then Crowley kissed him because he can't find the words. He is hurt and choking on his words. He can't really talk because he is almost crying. If he wasn't emotionally disturbed at the moment and could talk, maybe he would tell Azi that he loved him. But he can't and I don't think he can clearly think at the moment. That is why, in my opinion, he let's his body speak.
Personally I would think a tender kiss between those two in season 3 would be very fine. It is not really necessary, I guess, but it is a way to say "I love you, forgive me" and to develop some nice butterflies. And Crowley was aggressive to Azis lips and mind the last time. It would be nice to see him gentle this time ( :
